Dark was sitting just staring at the fire in the fireplace in the common room to his boarding school not caring about his surroundings. Finally, some came up and shook him gently which made Dark spin around with a fist in hand "Woah Dark chill man it's just me you're beastie." Said a kid around his age who had dark brown curly hair brown eyes with tan complexion he was wearing a black hoodie with an orange shirt under it dark blue jeans and tennis shoes and crutches. "Tobias you are seriously trying to get hurt aren't you, you know better than to sneak up on me and shake me" Tobias chuckled then look offended "wait for no Toby today you are calling me by my full name? Anyway, I was sent to come to get you today is the day for that field trip to the Greek Musume. Why do you like the fire so much? I've never seen you cold." Tobias asked with a serious look on his face. Dark stood up and looked. I love the smell that's all, let me get dressed and I'll be down. Toby''man you only have 10 minutes to get downstairs and to the bus so make it fast." He said before leaving.
Dark went to his dorm and got dressed in a black leather jacket, with a redshirt tightly fitted under it, black jeans that were nicely fitted, and black cowboy boots with red trim. It only took him about 2 minutes to get dressed and he took a shortcut downstairs and when he got down there Toby was just getting down the stairs. "Yo Toby try to keep aye?" Toby jumped "dude I don't understand how you walk so fast I didn't see your head to the stairs and I took the elevator, how do you do it?" Dark chuckled "short cuts let's go." They loaded up on a bus and went to the museum. There was a substitute teacher who kept eyeballing dark with dirty looks like he did something illegal which he thought was weird but he knew he hadn't done anything.
Dark put in earbuds to distract himself from the looks he was receiving from the substitute, Mr. Boomer, "Mr. iera can you tell me the name of this goddess?" Toby nudged Dark to get his attention. Dark took his earbuds out "I'm sorry what?" Mr. Boomer "this goddess her domain is similar to that of your name can you tell me her name?" Dark was about to say he didn't know but his dyslexia was messing up as he was looking at the Greek letters above the statue and he saw the name "Nyx?" He asked mostly to himself, but Mr.boomer heard. "That's correct Mr.Iera now can you tell me the proper term for the child of a mortal and a god or goddess?" Dark "that would be a demigod." Good job Mr. Iera it seems I may have piqued your interest yet." The substitute came up "Mr.Iera may I speak to you?" Dark sighed but not wanting to get in trouble "Uhm sure." She directed him into a room under construction and he turned to ask "so am I in trouble for something?" He didn't see her "Uhm ma'am" when he heard growling and turned and she turned into a Chimera resulting in Dark jumping back.
