It wasn't fair he promised to be there always , how she shouldn't worry because they were a team , and teams work together to save each other and now he's gone , been gone for awhile now , but Parker still couldn't deal with the fact he left Promising he would be back , but he never came back
The rest of the team always looked at her with pity , but she didn't want that because he was coming back . Alec Hardison never broke his promises especially when they were made towards Parker , Everything was a blur that day , the job was simple ,con the business man who was stealing from a church .steal it back no complications , they even got out of the building before they were caught Eliot making sure they were out and safe , Hardison picked them up in Lucille 2.0 and they headed home waiting till they got another client
Parker was watching Cartoons cuddled against Hardison while he fought his pretend friends , Eliot making dinner , Sophie and Nate bickering about their relationship , until Alec got a call
seeing who it was he immediately turned off his computer , and stood up from the couch putting his computer on the couch with the phone still ringing "Uh Parker , i'll be right back " He said as he started moving toward the door before stopping thinking how many people said that to her before they left for good " I promise i'll be back " He said over his shoulder walking out the door , Curious Parker as quietly as she could followed him out the door and down the stairs where she heard the one way conversation "What? oh no , i can't im sorry...i , i'm working ...fine , ill be there , how long do i have before you need me? ... Now? , fine just give me a minute to get my stuff " He hung up thats when Parker knew she had to run before she got caught , Running up the stairs quietly and back into Nate's Apartment and back on the couch for Hardison to get back but he never walked through the door , since he owned the building they all had their own apartments , none of them slept there , but they all had a bag ready for away cons , Parker thought he must be in his before he said goodbye , but he never did. that was 3 months ago ,
Parker hasn't been the same since he left. Refusing to help on cons unless they really needed her , eating only when Eliot forced her to eat something other than "That Damn cereal " , only going to the bar downstairs when they get back from a con , Sophie would go make sure she was ok and Nate would give her small wads of cash to try to cheer her up . She eventually started helping again , eating regularly and hanging out with them again , the next con they were doing was an Accountant was laundering money through art and off to Gatebrook Illinois it was , in the middle of the heist , Sophie and Nate were distracting the Mark. Eliot was beating up bad guys and Parker was in the vault when she heard the distinct sound of the Alarm system reactivating , now it was a motion sensor so if she didn't move she was fine "Guys we have a problem " She whispered "What's wrong? " "Well i think the Alarm just reactivated "
"Thats impossible , i broke it , the system isn't even working " Eliot responded "Well i'm pretty sure if i move the alarm will go off , so im not able to get out i need one of you guys to get to the computer room and figure everything out " Parker explained "Ale- Hardison taught me how to disable something like this , just get there please"
"I'm on it Parker just stay there , don't move" Nate said "Oh haha don't move good joke " as Nate Ran to the Computer room he came to an error the door needed a key card " Guys problem we need a key card , so Sophie if you could just- Wait never mind its unlocked " He got in and turned every Alarm off and got back to the party before the Mark figured out he left "Thanks , and we have the merchandise so lets get out before we get caught " Parker said Skipping through the hallway with the Portrait they were after "Easy for you to say , you didn't have to beat up like 20 guys " Eliot muttered walking up behind Parker "Now Eliot your the hitter your supposed to beat people up for us while we steal " Sophie said from the other side of the room next to Nate
As they got home Eliot noticed that the front door was open carefully he motioned for the others to stay put and walked inside into the kitchen to grab a knife Parker Followed with her Taser out and Sophie and Nate behind them when they heard a plastic bag crinkle Sophie turned on the lights and Eliot made A lunge at whoever was in their house only to stop seeing who it was
"Wow , i've been gone what 2 months and you guys want to kill me already i see how it is "Hardison joked backing away from the knifes point he looked up to see Eliot , Nate and Sophie looking at his with shocked expressions " Look guys im sorry i had to leave , i'll explain everything i swear , but where's Parker? " He asked face falling slightly then a flash of Blond hair and Black was in his arms as he fell to the floor "There you are , i knew you were ok because of the camera's which you stopped smiling into by the way , what happened there?" He asked as he hugged her "You came back" was all he got "Of course i came back , i promised didn't i? "
I made this to have angst but i remembered i hate angst in couples i like , so i fixed it at the end if your wondering i had a whole story about where Hardison went but i wanted it to end here , if you want a story about where he went ill make this a two chapter story
