Seth stopped and stared. Of all the people that could have been in the hotel lobby, he never expected to see Manava. She hadn't noticed him. She was too busy arguing with the young man behind the counter. Seth ran his eyes up her body, over that jeans covered ass that he used to love to touch, over her white, blue and green striped t-shirt, up to her long, curly, rust red hair that was put up in a messy bun.

"How could you lose my reservation?" She asked.
"I'm sorry, ma'am," the man said. "And unfortunately we're full so I can't offer you another room."
"You lost my reservation and on top of it you're kicking me out to sleep on the street. You're not very professional," she said.
"I'm sorry, ma'am," he repeated.
"Yeah, so am I," she said. "Guess I'll have to sleep in my car. Thanks a lot."

She turned around and was met by a smile she hadn't seen in over a decade. Her honey brown eyes settled on his chocolate brown ones.

"Seth?" She asked. "Oh my god, it is you."

She ran to him and hugged him. He squeezed her tightly and took in the scent of her hair. She still used that watermelon scented shampoo.

"It's so good to see you, Manava. What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I'm in town for a work thing. I didn't know WWE was here as well," she said.
"We are," he smiled. "So they lost your reservation, eh?"
"I called a week ago to make sure everything was still the way it was supposed to be. No problems. What happened between my call and today, I'll never know," she said.
"I got a room," he coughed nervously. "If you don't mind sharing a bed with me like in the old days."
"Why would I mind?" She asked.

She broke out in a smile and it made him feel more at ease. They could share a bed. He just had to sleep with his back turned against her and his hands under his pillow or between his legs. Anything to avoid touching her. Even after all these years she still did things to him. Things he didn't want to admit out in the open.

"Lead the way," she said.
"Right," he chuckled. "Elevator."

They stepped into the elevator and rode up to the fourth floor. He unlocked the door to his hotel room and let her enter first. He watched her ass again as she stepped out of her sneakers and continued further in. He dropped his bag and got out of his shoes as well. He couldn't stop himself. He walked up to her, wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck.

"Seth!" She purred.
"Please, tell me you're single," he said.

She moved a hand up to run it through his hair before spinning around in his arm to look at him.

"You're the one that got away," he said.
"You're the one that left me," she said. "Maybe I'll be the one leaving you this time."

He crashed his lips down on hers to shut her up. He didn't want to hear it. His biggest regret was leaving her to chase his dream to become a wrestler within WWE. He didn't regret his career choice. He regretted that he hadn't fought harder to make her go with him. He had asked many times, even begged once, and she turned it down. She had her own career to think about. Eventually he had chosen wrestling over her and left. His heart had never fully healed.

"You're still stunning," he said. "Let me see you."

He pulled the elastic out of her hair, and the rust red curls fell down her back.

"Still so fucking beautiful," he said.
"So are you," she said.

She moved her hands forward and opened his jeans. He smirked at her, grabbed her waist and backed her up to the bed. He gave her a light push so she fell backwards down on it. He leaned over her and opened her jeans, grabbed jeans and panties, and pulled them off her.

"Fuck, I've missed this sight," he said.

She giggled, sat up and pulled the t-shirt off. She opened her bra and threw it on the floor before beckoning a finger in the air.

"Come here, hot stuff," she said.

He pulled his t-shirt off and threw it on the floor. His jeans and briefs followed right after. He got up on the bed, positioned himself on his knees between her legs, and leaned over her to kiss her. He moved a hand down between her legs and started rubbing her clit.

"Seth!" She whimpered. "I need you. I want you so fucking bad."
"Patience, wildcat," he said.

His fingers slid down, and he pushed two inside her with ease. He smirked at how easy he could still make her wet. He worked his fingers in and out while she moaned under him.

"Seth, please!" She begged.
"You know what I want," he said.

He kissed her neck again and sank his teeth into her white skin. Her moaning intensified. He kept working his fingers and biting her until she grabbed his wrist and cried out. She sounded and felt just like he remembered.

He raised his head and smirked at her. She giggled back in return and let go of his wrist. He pulled his fingers out of her and moved them to his mouth to suck them dry. He made a humming sound. He hadn't tasted her in so many years.

"I want more," he said.
"No, you don't," she grabbed his upper arms. "You will fuck me right here and right now, or I will scream these walls down to make the neighbors think Freddy Krueger is in here with me."
"You'll scream either way," he said.
"Not like that," she said. "God damn it, Seth, fuck me already!"
"I'm getting my taste tomorrow then," he said.
"Yeah, fine, whatever," she said. "Please! I need you to fuck me."

He grabbed his dick and steered it inside her. He bottomed out and she let out a loud moan. A smile spread on her face as he started rocking his hips.

"Fuck, I missed this," she said. "No one fucks as good as you."

He grinned at the compliment. It had been so many years and no one had been able to meet the standards he had set back in the days. To be fair, no one met her standards either. He always thought he would have to settle for second best. He never thought he'd see her again.

He buried his head in the crook of her neck, once again kissing and biting her delicate skin. He grabbed one of her legs and pulled it up against his side. He sped up and gave it to her the way he remembered she loved it. It didn't take long to make her cry out a second time. Feeling her walls squeeze him and her nails bite into his back made him cum too. He let go of her leg and smiled against her skin on her neck.

"I'm home," he whispered.

He raised his head to look at her. Still as beautiful, if not more beautiful, like she used to be. He leaned down and kissed her before rolling down from her and pulling her into his arms.

"I've missed you," he said.
"I've missed you too," she said.
"Do you think we can do better this time around? We've both grown a lot. There's gotta be a way we can make it work," he said.
"We'll talk about it tomorrow," she said.
"Tomorrow," he sighed happily. "I like the sound of that."

He started snoring a minute later. He was worn out. She kept lying there for minutes, running her fingers up and down his skin, taking in his scent and the sight of him. Her heart was still broken, and tonight wouldn't heal it. Too much time had passed. She had accepted a long time ago that she would never heal. Somehow she had learned to live in her own misery and never let anyone close the same way Seth had been.

"I still love you," she whispered. "But you fucking ruined me, Seth. I won't let you do that again."

She gently lifted his arm and moved out of the bed. He made a noise and rolled over on his back. She got dressed as quietly as she could while watching him sleep. It only seemed fitting that she was the one walking away this time. Maybe they would meet again more than a decade from now, or maybe they would never see each other again. She wasn't one to guess the future. She had learned to live in the present moment and never take anything for granted.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she left the room and the man she loved behind. She loved a ghost. He had changed. Maybe for the better, maybe for the worse. She would never know. She took the elevator down, got into her car, and drove to another parking lot to sleep in her car. A night in a cold car was exactly what she needed. Spend hours to hurt and cry in the darkness, and then put on a mask once again and pretend to be happy next day.
