It's raining
Subaru listens to how the rain trickles down the window of his room, he hadn't realized how much comfort he would get from hearing the familiar sound of rain.
He relaxes as he thinks about everything that has happened so far, the pain that will forever plauge his memories as he lives this eternal uphill battle that is life, sometimes he remembers his old life and how much he wishes he could see his parents and tell them how many friends he's made and the name he has made for himself.
He would never go back though, he can't abandon all of his friends and family, he had so much to protect yet he still can't help but miss them, "Thanks Mom and Dad for everything"
