Rhiannon was just about to sit for another round of poker when a familiar Pearless caught her sight. She folded and then got up and approached the familiar spy.

"Rhiannon! It'sgreat to see you again!" Finn excitedly greeted the blue Challenger.

"Hello Finn. It's so good to see you again." Rhiannon greeted the Pearless back.

"How have you been since... you know..." Finn asked not wanting to trigger Rhiannon's fragile emotions.

"I'm doing alright. Ezrael...not so much..." Rhiannon frowned, her son on her mind.

"Why? What's wrong?" Finn asked out of curiosity.

"He misses his father... he remembers him a bit more than Ezra. He was the first to ask me what was wrong when he saw me so upset. Ever since he could understand he's wanted nothing but revenge. He wants their blood, Finn." Rhiannon explained, trying not to cry.

"Well I saw a car that looked just like Rod in Tokyo the other day. Do you think it's possible?" Finn asked hoping to bring the young challengers morale up.

Rhiannon sighed, then responded. "It's probably Ezrael. He looks just like Rod. He has a habit of running away." Rhiannon explained sadly.

"But, I do have him here with me in a way." The challenger started before donning a gremlin disguise.

"It feels like he's holding me. It still smells like him too." Rhiannon smiled. She took off and stowed her disguise.

"Actually, I just remembered something. So, you remember Holley Shiftwell and her abilities when it comes to time? She has each one of our agents cloned and frozen in time at the headquarters in the basement." Finn explained.

"So you're saying...he could be alive?" Rhiannon's voice quivered with emotion. She questioned whether this was true or not. She had struggled with trust issues since Rod died.

The Pearless nodded his hood in encouragement.

"So, to the headquarters?" Finn asked encouragingly.

Rhiannon was still speechless but nodded her hood in acceptance, knowing that this was possible. She knew Holley was a time warden and could trust that Finn wouldn't lie to her.

C.H.R.O.M.E Headquarters

Basement

Finn guided Rhiannon to a tank where Rod lay unconscious, his eyes closed, floating in a bubbly light blue fluid. He was hooked up to a bunch of different wires and monitors, which reassured her that her husband was alive.

"Rod..." Rhiannon whimpered.

"You ready?" Finn eagerly asked the Challenger. He too was ready to have his American ally back.

Rhiannon took a deep breath before answering the Pearless.

"Yes. I'm ready to have my husband back." She replied with a happy smile.

Finn took a deep breath before opening the capsule. It took all of his strength to open the capsule, but his strength paid off. The fluid drained and the wires were detached as gravity took its course, and the Deringer awoke suddenly.

"LET ME GO YOU DAMN LEM-" Rod shouted before hitting the ground.

"Finn? Rhiannon?" Rod came to fully to find his wife and his British ally in front of him.

"ROD!!!!! My love..." Rhiannon shouted before nuzzling up to him and letting her inevitable tears go.

"You were gone. You were dead. They hit you with and EMP and-" Rhiannon panicked through tears.

"Shhhhhh it's okay honey. It's over now. I'm here." Rod reassured her as he embraced her.

"Dad?..." A familiar voice rang out.

"EZRAEL!" Rod shouted in excitement as he ran to embraced his son.

"Son..." Rod cried with joy as he and his son remained In a tight embrace.

After what felt like an eternity Rod broke the embrace. Having just reawakened, he was still out of line with the current times.

"What year is it?" Rod asked.

"It's 2021, Rod." Finn answered.

"2021!?! So I've been gone for 10 full years?" Rod asked surprised.

"Yes, it's been far too long without you" Rhiannon began to cry, remembering the dark times she had to fight without him.

"Oh Rhiannon, you look just as beautiful as the day I lost you..." Rod replied before he embraced his wife in a deep and sweet kiss.

And here they were, the entire Redline family reunited, now and forevermore.

So that's it! How was it? This is the first time writing something based on a discord RP but I had fun writing like this! As you can probably tell I'm a huge romance junkie :P Anyways if you made it this far I hope you enjoyed, and I'll see you next time.
