This is for Dr. Lessy's shindeku week. Today's prompt was snuggles! You can find her on ao3 as koogi123.

Izuku had gotten hit by a quirk from a villain he had defeated. The villain was called Pure Sickness and their quirk simulated a cold for three days. Key word being simulated. During the span of these days, the target would have all the cold symptoms except they weren't actually happening. It would feel like the target's nose was stuffy and runny, but it wasn't. So nobody could catch the false cold. In short, Izuku would be miserable for three days.

Funnily enough, Pure Sickness had been quite the purist despite their quirk. Their costume was literally a hazmat suit. They even threw hand sanitizer at civilians.

Pure Sickness' goal was to get rid of all the filth in the world. Part of that was getting rid of quirkless people. So naturally, they went after Izuku.

Izuku had taken them out with ease, but Pure Sickness was quite the drama queen. When they were tied up and the police were about to put the quirk nullifying cuffs on they let out a gigantic blast of their quirk then passed out. Must have exceeded their limits. Unfortunately, it had hit everyone who had been in the vicinity, including Izuku.

He had been dragged back to the UA dormitories to wait out the effects of the quirks. A day later, he was in a false sickness. Luckily, class 1-A was kind enough to take care of him (hiding amused giggles at his adorable whininess).

Yes, that tended to happen when he was sick. He became like a needy toddler. (An adorable, whiny toddler Hitoshi and 1-A had been sure to tell him, but mostly Hitoshi).

Izuku was wrapped up in a burrito of blankets inside a pillow fort while The Little Mermaid played on the TV in the common room. The entirety of class 1-A was having their monthly movie night, but he couldn't concentrate on the movie.

He felt like he was burning alive while his skin was freezing cold. He shivered and his eyes were blurry, teary. Izuku had a desperate need for physical contact. Where was Hitoshi? Oh, yes. Right next to him. Duh.

He nuzzled his head into the side of Hitoshi's neck. Hitoshi without hesitation wrapped an arm around his shoulders to draw him closer. Izuku, having no control over his arms or legs due to them being wrapped in his burrito blanket, fell onto Hitoshi's lap. Hitoshi started carding a hand through his hair and they snuggled closer.

Maybe it was Izuku's imagination, but his cold was just a little bit more bearable with Hitoshi around.
