Those people being Naruto Uzumaki, the dude who was stacked as hell when it came to Ninja potential, Sasuke Uchiha, the beholder of the legendary pinkeye-gan. And finally the last and definitely the least, Sakura Haruno, the girl.
"Sasuke-kun, I love you so much." Sakura once again pronouncing her never-dying love for her raven-haired teammate.
"Why?"
"Because, you are cool, handsome, and did I say cool already?" Sakura leaned in fluttering her eyelashes.
Sasuke could only look on rather dumbly after hearing what Sakura just said. "So you love me for the most shallow of reasons? What are we? 12?" To further drive his point home, he flicked his wrist in a shoo motion, shooing away the absurd notion.
"Um, yes? We are 12." That was Naruto's only contribution to the entire conversation.
Quickly running over to the training field's lake, Sasuke took in his reflection's appearance.
"Oh yeah, we are 12. I guess I forgot that because of my constant fantasizing of how I'll kill Itachi. But still don't want to date Sakura though." Noticing Sakura's confused expression, Sasuke elaborated.
"We are 12 correct?"
A nod was given courtesy of Sakura.
"Girls have cooties." Oh, yeah. Since they were 12, he might as well act immature and look uninterested in the opposite sex. 'Smart move, smart move.' As Sasuke was mentally giving himself a pat on the back, another idea struck his mind.
'Naruto!'
"Naruto thinks your forehead is cute enough that he can kiss it. He thinks you're beautiful."
It was at this moment, that Naruto he knew he won the jackpot.
"I love you Naruto-kun!"
'Sasuke Uchiha, you are a fucking megamind.' Sasuke continuing to his mentally give himself pats on his back.
Narusaku occurs but until they're consenting adults.
Sasusaku doesn't occur.

I made this joke fic after coming across a fic where Sakura quickly switches his love for Sasuke to Naruto because said he finds her cute.
If only real life romance was as easy as this.
