Author's Note: Hi everyone, I'm back.
This is just a short story about how the Crayak came to be.
I feel like since we got the Ellimist chronicles it would have been nice to see a story about Crayak.
The alien species that is featured in this story is not completely my own. The Iskalites were a species of aliens created by me and my best friend.
I should start with the story now.
I am called Crayak. It was a word that has long since lost its meaning.
It was once a word in the Iskalite language meaning doom or death.
It is quite an appropriate name for me.
I had been the doom of many worlds, the death of thousands of civilizations.
But, you see, I was not always the nearly omnipotent being you see today. I was a mortal being once.
I belonged to a long-dead species called the Iskalites.
My name was Halshir Savlak. not a particularly fear-enspiring name.
I was always different from other children my age. i said my first word the day I was born. Often Iskalite children take up to six weeks to say their first word.
ironically, my first word happened to be "dead".
My mother grew concerned over this. It is Iskalite superstition that a child's first word will determine the course of their life. Obviously, my mother was worried that I would die or I would become a killer.
fast forward to when I was two years old. While children my age were playing in the light of the three suns, I was reading up on the most brutal and bloody battles of Iskalite history.
I learned how General Bernden zawke lead his men against the king of the neighboring region. Zawke and the king were both killed in a world-changing battle that shaped Iskalite history forever.
I was enrolled in school a year earlier than most children due to my burning desire to learn.
When I was fifteen, I learned about the seven artifacts of Ithkin, seven powerful objects that could give the user near complete power of the universe.
Iskalites had discovered the secret to dimension travel a long time ago. It was not quite as you would think.
The ability was limited. You could travel into one mirror dimension which was very similar to your own, but aspects were changed. for example, if a male Iskalite were to meet his Mirror Dimension counterpart, she'd be a female Iskalite.
personalities were switched, too.
I was introduced to my mirror world counterpart. Her name was Ashla.
Her personality was very ... childlike. I did not like her that much.
I set out on a journey to claim the seven artifacts of Ithkin.
ashla's excitement when she found out that she would be going with me was decidedly unlike any way I would have acted.
i found one of the artifacts in an abandoned school that was supposedly haunted by its dead creators.
The moment I touched the glowing green orb, it absorbed into me.
[Can I use that power, Halshir?] Ashla asked, vibrating with excitement.
[No, you fool! it is only for me. I am destined to rule the universe. A fool like you would only stand in my way. I want to be the most powerful being in the universe, like one of those ancient gods the magic users tell stories about. If anyone stands in my way, I will be their death. I will be their Crayak.]
Ashla didn't know what to say to that. Honestly, the only reason I hadn't already killed her was that if I did, then it might upset the balance between the two universes. If I absorbed all seven, I would possibly be able to survive that.
Ashla and I killed a wizard who we had reason to believe had one of the artifacts.
He didn't have one. He had three.
I began to grow more and more powerful.
I finally absorbed all seven. And I finally killed that stupid fool, Ashla.
The Iskalite planet was blown up, and the lone Iskalite surviver flead to Earth, where he transferred his consciousness and his powers into a human body.
This was back in medieval times, so people believed in stuff like magic.
I watched him start a family of three children. they were human, but they had Iskalite powers buried inside them. There names were Thomas, Alyssa, and Melissa.
I took the three children and I hurled Thomas and Alyssa through time into the twentieth century.
I could sense that Melissa was like me. I trained her.
Many years later, my power had only grown and Melissa was now an adult. It was now that I dropped the name Halshir Savlak and instead took the name Crayak, which no longer had any meaning.
But I would give it new meaning.
Many years later, Melissa did the unthinkable. She betrayed me! she had the guts to kick me out of my own galaxy!
It was then that I entered a new one.
There, I learned of a being calling himself the Ellimist. He was collecting as much power as I was.
I could not let that happen. i interfeered and fought with him. We left a path of death and destruction throughout the galaxy before our great war came to an end.
I tricked the Ellimist into travelling through a black hole. A portion of his power was sucked in and I destroyed the rest.
But the pull was too strong for even me. Because I was sucked in.
I ended up inside space-time itself. And I then understood the secrets of the universe.
Ellimist and I played a game using five human children and one Andalite called the Animorphs and my players, a species of parasites called Yeerks.
Yet someone came into the game. They called themself the One.
They absorbed Aximili and the other Animorphs, much like I had done to the seven artifacts of Ithkin in a different life.
The One revealed their true identity. It was Melissa.
"I am so glad to see you, Halshir." She said.
We decided to play a new game using two different universes.
eventually the universes would meet and it would all fall onto the shoulders of one former traitor to the Animorphs.
David.
David was placed into the universe that Ellimist and I were watching. he was returned to the Ellimist's side.
This universe's Animorphs were called the Morphalites. The team consisted of six members. David, James, Nate, Tracy, Mel, and a very different Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul.
This version of Elfangor did not fall in love with a human and have a human son on Earth. Instead, he was an arrogant Andalite who reluctantly gave five humans the morphing power with no other options.
The other universe was similar to the old one, but Jake was planted in the Animorphs by the Yeerks, and Elfangor was in the ocean and Aximili died in the construction site giving five humans the power to morph.
This game would certainly be interesting.
Author's note: I know this might not be the best story ever. If you had any problems with it or any criticism, please review.
This is just going to explain some things before I start posting a story called Morphalites. And it will be really long.
Be sure to tell me what you think in the reviews.
