A/N: Happy Halloween! Here's a funny Halloween themed Mianitian Isles short story of the boys getting up to some mischief, and the gods, and Dec, getting a little payback. Enjoy!

Ianite, Dianite, and Mianite all were going out trick-or-treating on Halloween night, to their heroes' islands and beyond. Little did they know, their heroes were going to be very mischievous this night. Ianite had dressed as an Arctic fox, Dianite dressed as a Blaze, and Mianite dressed as an angel.

"What do you think our heroes are dressed up as?" Ianite asked her brothers.

"I think my champion dressed as a mummy," Mianite speculated.

"I think my champion dressed as a skeleton," Dianite guessed.

"I think my champion dressed as a zombie," Ianite pondered.

Our heroes were waiting on Adventure Island, behind the bushes in front of the giant building, dressed as scary zombies, not as what their gods were speculating they'd be dressed as. Tom was made to look scarier than he actually is, and Karl and Jordan have the same look as Tom's new look. After the gods had gotten their treats from the candy bowls outside the heroes' homes, to which they were confused as to why their heroes weren't handing them out themselves, they made their way to Adventure Island, where Dec, who was also unaware to the heroes' great idea, was patiently waiting for the gods to arrive to give them their treats. He was waiting near the doorway to the great building, near where our heroes hide. As the gods approached,

"Hello, hello! Happy Halloween! I love your costumes. They're very nice."

"Why, thank you Dec. May we have some treats?"

"Of course."

Dec proceeded to hand each god their share of treats, and this is when the heroes decided to execute their great plan to scare their gods. All three of them pop out and roar as scarily as they could, making themselves look big and scary. They frightened Lady Ianite, made Dianite scream like a little girl, Dec shouted, raced inside, and barricaded the door, and Mianite jumped about a foot in the air. Our heroes fell to the ground, laughing uncontrollably at their shenanigans. Ianite huffed in indignation.

"Boys! That was not funny. You gave us quite the scare. Now, I'm up for fun and pranks, but this, this went a little too far, don't you think? You frightened me very badly, you made Dianite scream like a little girl, you made Dec hide in fear, and Mianite, well, I've never seen him jump like that before, nor have I ever heard Dianite scream like that before." Ianite started to giggle a little bit. "You know what? I take it all back, that was actually quite funny."

"Ianite, the look on your face was priceless. You should have seen yourself," Dianite chortled.

"Dec!" Dec peeked out from behind the door, having opened it just a crack. "Dec, you're safe. It was just these three ding-dongs," Mianite assured. Dec came out to see the heroes had now stood up. "I haven't seen you move that fast in ages my boy. Why, I'd have thought you were young again," Mianite laughed heartily. Dec chuckled.

"I'll admit, you three really did get us good. How long had you been waiting there?"

"3 hours," Jordan answered.

"That's some dedication," Mianite admired.

"That's some patience too, patience I wouldn't have had."

"I'm impressed you three didn't get bored in those three hours."

"Well, we kind of picked on each other a little, then we shared a couple Halloween stories with each other. It passed the time well enough," Tom replied.

"We didn't have time to be bored. It was all well and good.," Karl agreed.

"Well, then my next question, how long have you been planning this?"

"About 2 weeks."

"Sheesh... talk about planning ahead, when there's one of you who doesn't like to come on time to Story Time with Dec." Dec looked pointedly at Tom.

"Oi oi oi. I'm not late on purpose. Even so, I'm fashionably late. Ever hear of that?" The others all just shook their heads, chuckling.

"Well, with all this said and done, now that we've wasted the rest of the night, how about we pick our stuff up from your antics and we all share in these treats, huh?" Ianite suggested. Everyone vehemently agreed, helped pick everything up, and divvied up every one of the treats as evenly as possible. They all sat around the campfire and tucked in to 2 of their treats, telling each other spooky stories and ghostly tales. They all took turns telling their own stories. As the last one was winding down, the fire started to slowly turn to embers, and when it ended, the fire died out completely, leaving everyone in the dark, with only a full moon shining bright.

"Um... maybe we should head home?" Tom suggested, a little fearfully.

"What, you scared of the dark?" Karl teased.

"No! I just... I wanna make sure none of you get scared," Tom badly lied.

"Don't lie... you're scared." Tom gave Jordan and Karl both a look, which turned to fear as they heard howling. They all jumped and zipped toward each other, huddled in a scared, little pack.

"D-did you just... hear that?"

"Yeah... and it sounded close..."

"What could that have been? Surely we don't have wolves, coyotes, or anything else that howls... right?"

"Dude, that could have been a werewolf! Those things come out on a full moon." As the heroes cowarded, the gods and Dec finally released their laughter. Our heroes were surprised to see that their gods were the ones behind this, alongside their Priest.

"You guys! What, you were giving us some payback from earlier?"

"Yes, and you three fell for it so easily! Dianite, that was some great howling!" Dec complimented as Dianite came out from behind the tree.

"Thanks mate! Ianite, Mianite, and you did well at hiding our little plan for payback. We couldn't have executed this more perfectly."

"Well, now that you've got a taste of your own medicine here boys, how about we end our shenanigans and take our treats home? It's way past bedtime and we need sleep," Mianite suggested.

"Yeah, I can agree with that. I'm pretty exhausted. Tonight was very eventful."

"Indeed. Goodnight everybody." Ianite waved and disappeared to her home. Everyone else bid their farewells and went off to their own separate homes, leaving the night as silent as it usually always is.
