Wanda blinked a couple times, eyes adjusting to the light.

She sat up and looked around.

She was in her bedroom at Avengers tower, as she would be waking up on a normal day.

But it wasn't.

Wanda remembered meeting Mayfly, Thalia, and Silene.

Was it a dream?

No.

If it was, the universe had played a cruel, sick joke on her.

But Wanda didn't think it was a dream.

And besides, she remembered being knocked out by Natashas tranquilizer.

She leapt out of bed, and ran toward the door. She had to find out where the other girls had been taken.

She opened the door, and...ran straight into Vision.

"Wanda." He said in his robotic voice. "You must stay here."

"What! Why!" Wanda demanded.

"The three intruders messed with your mind. Until we know what they did, you cannot leave."

"That's not for you to decide!" Wanda tried to move past Vision, but he put out an arm to block her.

"This is for your own safety, Wanda."

Wanda's expression shifted to challenging, and her eyes glimmered with a tint of red. "Who's going to stop me from leaving. You?"

She summoned a ball of red energy.

"Wanda, dont-" Vision was cut off as Wanda blasted him out of the way.

She ran down the hallway, but was again stopped by the entirety of the Avengers.

Wanda was extremely powerful, but she didn't want to hurt her friends. She already regretted blasting Vision.

Steve Rogers commanding voice rang out. "Wanda. You don't know what you're doing."

Wanda saw Clint pull a tranq gun out of his pocket, and her heart sank.

He was like a father to her. She knew he was just doing it to try and "help" her, but none of the understood the situation.

Wanda knew how to escape without hurting them.

She cast a brilliant red light, momentarily blinding them, and flew out the window, shattering it.

She flew and flew, until she was sure they didn't follow her.

She stopped and hovered, wondering what she could do.

I have not idea where they are.

Maybe this plan wasn't so well thought out.

She sighed in defeat, and was about to turn and fly back to Avengers Tower to see if she could explain what was happening to the Avengers, until she heard a joyful voice shout "WANDA!"

She turned, and smiled widely.

There was Mayfly, Thalia, Silene, and another girl Wanda hadn't met yet. She had long brown hair, with kind blue eyes.

She was also hanging from Thalia's legs, a terrified look on her face.

Wanda flew up to meet them.

Mayfly tackled her into a hug. Wanda stiffened, but then relaxed and returned the hug.

"I'm so glad we ran into you! How did you get away?"

"I had to shatter a window."

Silene laughed. "I'm sure Stark will be able to fix it."

"Hi, I'm Astelle." Said the girl. "Percy's sister. I would shake your hand, buuuuuuut..."

Wanda laughed. "So you're Poseidon's daughter?"

"Nope! You see, I'm Percy's half sister. Completely mortal. I can see why you would think so, because I know it's blatantly obvious I hate heights, but thats just because my grandparents died in a plane crash."

She glared at the sky. Before Wanda met the demigods, she would think it just was a sign she hated heights, but she now knew it also meant you were mad at Zeus.

Wanda pitied the girl. It must be hard for your brother to have powers and you to not.

Perhaps reading this in Wanda's expression, Astelle quickly spoke again. "But it's okay, because I'm pretty good at fighting, and that's lots of demigods only power."

Wanda nodded in understanding.

"Anyways." Mayfly said. "We can lead you to the Protectors current location."

"Current?"

"Yes, current. We move around a lot, as our job is to help protect demigods from monsters. For that reason, we live in tents so we can pack up quickly."

"Where are you now?"

"In the forest. The Mist covers the camp, but it's still nice to have the trees cover us in case there are any deranged gods searching for us."

Silene burst into laughter. "You remember that one time Percy pissed off Ares?"

Astelle joined in the laughter. "Yeah! He was so angry, not even Aphrodite could calm him down! He flew all over the place searching for us, and when he got to our forest in Idaho, he went right past us!"

"That was awesome." Thalia said, grinning.

Mayfly addressed Wanda.

"Follow us, we'll take you to camp."

The five girls started flying again.

"And Wanda?"

"Yeah?"

"Welcome to the Protectors."
