Summary: Shiraishi is enjoying her time relaxing with Tanaka while her mind goes down memory lane.
Memory Lane
Picnics were a favorite activity for Shiraishi to do with Tanaka when he had a day of from work. Yes, you hear that right, Tanaka works instead of trying to avoid work in the pursuit of listlessness. Tanaka was still listless when there was nothing required, but when it came to work or anything that was related to her, then Tanaka would conduct himself in a manner that would shock anyone that remembered the boy's laziness.
It all started when the two teenagers started dating that Tanaka started to try to improve himself. Her dear husband, who was her boyfriend at the time, wanted to help her and do things that made her happy. She was so happy that she mattered to Tanaka so much that he was willing to go against his usual slothful nature. Everyone was proud of the boy and would help them out in any way they could.
Shiraishi looked down to the man sleeping on her lap after the two of them finished their meal. She became her husband's favorite thing to sleep on, especially now that he would listen to their baby while resting. Even though that they had been planning to be parents for quite sometime before she had become pregnant Tanaka still had his worries about not being a good dad. Shiraishi would remind him of his good points and bring up that he did an excellent job of keeping his listlessness in control.
Their future was looking sparkly and relaxed.

This is my first fanfic for Tanaka-kun is Always Listless and in keeping to the theme of the anime I decided to make the fanfic as listless as Tanaka. I was hoping that there would be more fanfics of these two and of the anime as a whole, but that is probably a give considering the nature of the anime.
