Hi. This was an idea I had for a long time. I decided to finally publish it.
Chapter 1
"Roadslash, get me the energon transfuser." her boss medic Knockout, said impatiently. After staring at him in confusion he sighed and got the purple tool "Roadslash, what is wrong with you? Ever since you got back to the Nemesis you've been amnesiac."
The red and green femme smiled innocently. Knockout shook his helm, now wasn't the time to berate her, this eradicon was dying.
Roadslash leaned against the table, her optics looked curious, he was surprised that she could stand the sight of split energon and not gagging as she had always done in the past.
"What happened to him?" she asked as she observed the ripped up parts of the eradicon's shoulder, parts of it black and charred.
Knockout shrugged, he didn't care how the mindless drone got hurt, he only cared about patching him up.
A few hours later, Knockout had a helm-ache, his assistant had been insufferable for the past few hours, always asking him questions that she should have known the answer to.
"Breakdown was never this annoying," he muttered to himself.
"Who's Breakdown?" his crimson optics widened.
Knockout paced back and forth in the med bay trying to think of what could have happened to his assistant that could cause her to forget who one of her best friends was. "Lay on the table, now!" she quickly complied and he ran scans over her.
The femme hoped he wouldn't find out that this wasn't Roadslash, the real one was dead.
The red sportscar shook his head or was it called helm? She forgot and these robots had their own lingo.
"No, nothing is wrong," she could have breathed in relief but that would have been suspicious and he continued "but there is a huge crack in the interior of your helm, if left untreated you could eventually lose all the memories you have."
Roadslash didn't react, which worried him. Actually, he wondered if she even remembered him. Then the femme smiled weakly "I guess you'll be performing surgery on me right?" Oh right, Knockout had forgotten that this femme got nauseous whenever she saw spilt energon. Which was a problem considering she was a medic and they were in a war.
He sighed "I'll give you anaesthesia but you will have to be awake, I can't risk letting you sleep during the procedure."
She reacted better than he thought, at the end of the procedure she confirmed that she no longer felt any nausea with energon or gore. Knockout decided that she had a few loose bolts and that the helm injury had changed her.
But for the better or the worse? Well, he would just have to see.
