"Hey," James Rake said."Your Frank Castle, right?"

The Marine looked at him. He was leaning against a tree, looking at his M16."Yeah." He nodded.

James sat down next to him."I'm James Rake. You saved my life yesterday." Castle was only silent."So, what fandom are you from?

Castle looked at him for a moment but answered."I'm from the Marvel fandom. You?"

"Earth. You know, the real world." James said.

They were both quiet for a minute before Castle talked again."I was in Vietnam when we got word that the Covenant declared war on every fandom. I decided to fight the Covenant before I finish the war in Vietnam."

"Aren't you tired?" He asked."I mean, aren't you just sick of fighting in all this war?"

Castle stared at his M16."To be honest...I hope this war never ends."

Before James could say something, Sarge interrupted."Okay, everybody!" Sarge yelled."The entire division's moving across the airfield at 0900."

"Across the airfield?! Sarge, that's suicide!" Said Grif.

"Ah, shut up. I'm sure everything will be fine." The red armored sergeant said.

"Everything is not fine!" Grif yelled as he dodged an explosion from the Covenant's mortars. The entire division ran across the airfield. Explosions killed some Marines while laser fire from the Covenant soldiers in the buildings killed the others.

James kept running. He saw one Marine explode into pieces.

"Keep moving!" Yelled Jason Hudson from Call of Duty.

As he ran, James fired his MA5C assault rifle at the Covenant in the building."Honk!" Yelled one Sangheili warrior. James then felt a mortar explode right next to him. His world then went black.

James slowly opened his eyes, his head pounding. He was looking at a grey, metal ceiling."Where...where am I...?" He asked, his mouth dry.

"The war's over. The Marines are just dealing with the Covenant who haven't surrendered." Said a nurse who helping an injured soldier who was on a bed. James realized he was also laying in bed."You're going home."

Going...home?.

James only laid in bed.
