This story follows the story line of Reunion With Friends. This occurs about one month after the boys were changed.
Daisy was on her way home from the Boars Nest, when she saw something running across the the road. She tried to stop but it was too late, she hit the animal. She got out of her Jeep and walked back to the animal. As soon as Daisy saw the animal move, she knew that it was no ordinary animal.
"Werewolf." She whispered to herself. Daisy ran back to her Jeep and grabbed the key.
"Not so fast, lady." A blond haired man grabbed her wrist. "You're coming with me." He pulled Daisy out of the Jeep and half dragged her down the road. As they were walking down the side of the road, a car pulled up.
"Daisy? What's going on? You alright?" Daisy smiled.
"Coy? Oh, yeah. No problems here." Coy tried to open his door but the man that Daisy hit, put his hand on the frame, and closed the half opened door.
"Not so fast, blondie." Coy looked at the man by his door, who now had a gun pointed at him. "Move over, blondie." Coy did what he was told.
"In the car." The blond man opened the door for Daisy and shoved her in. They drove for several minutes and the blond told the other man. "Turn here." They drove down the path to an old barn. What the werewolves didn't realize was, it was Coy's barn, that was about 3 miles away from the house. "Park inside." They all got out of the car, and the blond pushed Daisy a little to hard for Coy to tolerate.
"Get your hands off of her!" Coy pushed him away from Daisy. The other man saw what was happening, grabbed a shovel and hit Coy over the back of the head. He was knocked out cold.
"Coy!"
"Leave him, woman!" Daisy turned around and glared at the one that hit Coy.
"Tie her up!" Daisy turned around and saw a woman, making her way down from the loft.
"Don't think you can tell me what to do, human!" That stopped the girl in her tracks. The blond grabbed Daisy and pulled her over to the beam.
"You do it!" He yelled at the woman. She looked around and grabbed some rope. She roughly tied Daisy to the beam.
^^What they didn't know was; Bo was on the front porch with Tommy; Coy's young son.
Bo saw headlights headed for the barn, thinking that was strange, he picked up Tommy and walked to his bedroom.
"Tommy, I need you to stay in your bed. Can you do that for me?"
"Uh-huh." Bo made sure that he locked the door to the bedroom, before he made his way to the barn. He arrived at the barn in time to hear what the woman had said. Bo looked around and saw Daisy being pushed towards the beam. He could feel his blood getting warm.
"Concentrate, Bo." Bo looked around the barn and saw a total of 3 people, plus Daisy. He could sense that two were not human. "Werewolf." Bo thought to himself. He needed a distraction, something to bring at least one of them outside. He looked around and noticed a rock. Bo picked up the rock and threw it hard against the side of the barn, getting the attention of the werewolves.
"Check it out." The blond told the other man. He made his way outside and saw Bo running towards a tree. He hid behind the tree and moved his arm slightly, so the man could see him. It worked, the man made his way over to where he saw Bo standing. Bo walked around the tree so his back was facing the werewolf. Even tho the young man was quiet, Bo could sense that he was right behind him. Bo grinned; his fangs glistened in the moonlight. The young man never noticed what Bo had in his right hand. As soon as he got close enough to Bo, Bo quickly tuned around and stabbed the young werewolf in the heart; with the angel blade he got from Dean Winchester. The silver blade served several purposes; to kill angels, demons and werewolves. Bo smiled as he watched the life drain from the monster.
When the other man didn't come back, the blond got mad. "Where the hell is he?" He yelled at the young woman. "Go find him! Now!" Bo saw her walking out the barn door. Even though she was still human, Bo could sense that she was evil. She looked around and saw Bo; just standing by a tree. He slipped behind the tree and waited. She walked up to the tree and was surprised that he was not there. She looked around in a panic.
"Where did he go?" She asked herself.
"Right here." Bo grabbed her from behind and held his hand over her mouth; her body close to his. His fangs brushed against her neck, slightly breaking the skin. Bo licked the dripping blood from her neck. "Nothing personal, darlin'." Bo whispered in her ear. He sank his fangs into her neck and drank her sweet tasting blood. Bo lowered her lifeless body to the ground. Two down, one to go. Bo made his way towards the barn. He saw the other werewolf pacing back and forth in front of Daisy. If Daisy was scared, she did a good job of hiding it.
"Listen, just let us go." Bo heard what Daisy said and was confused, until he saw Coy laying unconscious next to her.
"I'd advise you to listen to the lady." Bo said, as he walked threw the barn door.
"Who the hell are you?"
"Someone you don't want to mess with." Bo grinned and walked slowly towards him, with the angel blade in plain sight.
"Is that so?"
"It is." Bo threw the angel blade, and hit the blond right in the heart. He was dead before he hit the ground. Bo removed the blade from the blond, walked up to Daisy and cut her binds.
"What are you?" Bo smiled and replied. "That's complicated." He untied Dasiy and then stood up to tend to Coy. "I'll explain it to you when we get home." Bo untied Coy's wrists and ankles. He got worried when Coy remained still.
"Coy?" Bo gently taped the side of Coy's face; in an effort to wake him. "Coy?" When Coy didn't respond, Daisy asked. "Should we get him to a hospital?"
"We'll get him into the house, then call Doc."
"What about them?" Daisy pointed to the bodies.
"I'll take care of them. I'll take them to the graveyard and salt and burn their bodies."
"Now you're talkin' like Sam and Dean."
"Can't be to careful about things like this." Bo got Coy into a fireman's carry and got him into the house. As soon as he laid him onto the couch, Coy woke up and starred at Bo.
"Bo?"
"Welcome back. How you feeling?"
"Like I got hit by a truck." He looked around and saw Daisy a few feet away. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah hon, I am. They didn't hurt me."
"Where's Tommy?"
"He's in his bedroom. I'll check on him." Bo stood up and went to the bedroom, to check on Tommy. He found him safe and sound asleep in his bed.
"Do I need to call Doc for you?" Daisy asked him.
"No, I'll be fine. Where did they go?"
"I took care of them." Bo replied, as he walked back into the living room. "He's asleep." Coy nodded; relieved to hear that.
"You? By yourself?"
"Yeah."
"How?"
"Why is it so hard to believe that I handled it by myself?"
"Bo, what's going on?" Bo grinned and showed Coy and Daisy his fangs.
"What the hell?" Daisy replied.
"You don't remember what happened that night, do you?"
"What night?"
"The night Luke and I were involved in that car accident."
"Well, yeah. Of course, we remember that accident." Coy answered.
"Luke got hurt so bad, he's not the same." Daisy added. Bo finally realized that the gypsy lady made them forget what happened that night on the ridge.
"It was no accident." Bo explained to them what had happened that night.
"So, Rosco is immortal and you, Luke and Cooter are half vampires, half human but immortal as well?" Coy asked.
"Yup."
"That's the craziest thing I've ever heard! How do you expect us to believe that?" Daisy replied; clearly annoyed.
"One never expected werewolves to exist either. Or ghosts for that matter. But here we are." Bo replied. It took several minutes for Daisy to reply.
"Point taken. I'm sorry for not believing you, Bo."
"It's alright." Bo looked around, then replied. "I have to remove the bodies. You two gonna be alright here alone?"
"We'll be fine." Bo nodded at Coy's response and made his way outside. Daisy went to the bathroom and came back with a wash cloth. She started to clean the wound on the back of Coy's head.
"There you go."
"Thanks Daisy." While they waited for Bo to come back, they made small talk.
"This is crazy."
"Crazy is right, Bo killed that thing with no remorse." She sat down next to Coy. "It was like he was a different person."
"He didn't have a choice, Daisy."
"Rosco?" Daisy looked at him, surprised.
"Sorry, the door was open."
"What are you doing here?"
"Bo sent me over, to keep an eye on things." Rosco looked around and asked. "Where's Tommy?"
"He's sleeping. Bo was watching him while I went out earlier." Coy replied.
"Good, I'm glad he's safe."
"Bo told us about you guys."
"He did?"
"Yeah, don't worry. Your secret is safe with us."
"I'd appreciate that, Coy." Rosco sat down next to Daisy. "Bo is the same person he was before. He just knows that those creatures are evil, and nothing will stop them, except death."
"I guess you're right." She replied.
"But if you guys are immortals, does that mean you can heal yourself?"
"Yes and no. Since I'm immortal, I can heal very fast without dying. They're half human, so if they are mortally wounded, they will die but come back to life."
"Why is Luke not the same?" Daisy asked.
"He was dead too long before he was changed. He's healing but it's taking him longer."
"But why can't he remember things?"
"Doc thinks that he received a brain injury before he died. The lack of oxygen before he was changed didn't help his situation none."
"That's sad, ya know?"
"Yeah Daisy, it is." They made small talk and Rosco stayed with them, until they heard the sound of a familiar engine pull up. They were surprised when Luke walked in.
"Luke?"
"Bo picked me up, needed my help." Luke looked around the room, nothing looked familiar to him.
Sensing that Luke felt uncomfortable, Rosco told him. "Luke, why don't you sit down?" Luke nodded and sat down on a chair near the window. Bo walked in several minutes later and joined them in the living room.
"You doing alright, Coy?" Bo asked, as he sat down on the chair, next to Luke.
"Just got a headache."
"Are you sure I shouldn't send Doc out?"
"I'll be fine. If I don't feel good tomorrow, I'll call him."
"Daisy, could you stay the night, just in case?" Bo asked.
"Sure."
"Daisy..." Before Coy could object, Daisy told him. "If you have a concussion, it would be best for me to stay."
"Well, if you got everything under control here. I'm gonna head on out."
"Thanks, Rosco." Bo shook Rosco's hand and Rosco made his way home.
"We're going to head out as well. We'll come back in the morning, to help with the chores. So you don't have to worry about that." Coy smiled at Bo's remark.
"Thanks, man."
"You need some help getting to your bedroom?"
"Sure." Coy got to his feet and Bo walked next to him; in case he got dizzy. Coy got into bed and Bo made his way back to the living room.
"Daisy, we're going to head out." Bo gave Daisy a kiss on the cheek; as Luke gave her a slight nod.
"Bye guys." Daisy looked at the couch and decided to go to sleep.
^^The next morning, Coy slept later than normal. So Daisy took care of Tommy, while Bo and Luke helped with the animals.^^
Tommy walked into the living and saw Daisy asleep on the couch. He walked up to her and shook her foot, to wake her up.
"Hey, honey. You okay?"
"Daddy's sleeping." Daisy nodded.
"You hungry?" Tommy smiled and nodded his head. "Come on." She held out her hand and they walked to the kitchen. He climbed up into his chair and Daisy looked around for the bowls for cereal.
"You like some cereal?"
"Uh-huh." Daisy poured the cereal into Tommy's bowl and added a little milk. She then poured some milk into a small cup. Daisy smiled as she watched Tommy enjoy his cereal. Several minutes later, Bo and Luke pulled up to the house. Daisy heard a vehicle pull up and looked out the window.
"Morning." She opened the screen door for them, and they walked into the house.
"Is Coy awake?"
"Not yet."
"I'm going to check on him." Bo replied. "Luke, wait for me here." Luke nodded and Bo went down the hall. Bo opened the bedroom door and noticed that Coy was still asleep.
"Coy?" Bo whispered. Coy slowly opened his eyes and starred at Bo. He remained quiet for several minutes.
"Is Tommy alright?"
"He's fine, Daisy is watching him. How you feeling?"
"My head is pounding, not feeling good."
"You may have a concussion. You want me to call Doc?"
"Yeah." Bo left the room to call Doc. As soon as Bo closed the door, Coy fell back to sleep.
"Hey Doc? This is Bo Duke. Could you come out to Coy's farm?" Bo waited for the reply then responded. "Thank you." Bo hung up the receiver and approached Luke. "Do you mind if we wait here until Doc arrives?" Luke looked around, unsure of what to say. Daisy saw how uncomfortable Luke became and decided to excuse herself; so Bo could talk to Luke in private.
"Tommy, want to watch Sesame Street?" Tommy smiled and nodded. Daisy took Tommy to the living room.
"Luke if you don't feel comfortable waiting here, it's alright."
"You won't be mad?"
"Of course not." Bo walked into the living room and told Daisy. "Hey Daisy. We're going to head out. Can you stay to take care of Tommy?"
"I'll call Lou-Ann, ask her to cover for me."
"Thanks, hon." Before Bo could leave, she asked him. "Is Luke alright? He seems confused."
"He just doesn't remember this house. I'll take him home and he'll be alright." Daisy nodded.
"If you need help, you let me know."
"I will, Daisy." She watched them leave and thought it was odd that Bo stayed close to Luke's side, all the way to the General. It was as if Bo was worried that Luke would wonder off.
Daisy made her way to the living room and sat down next to Tommy. "That Elmo, is certainly a strange fella." Daisy said to herself. As they were watching Elmo and his friends, Doc pulled up to the house. Doc knocked on the kitchen door before he walked in.
"Coy?" Doc replied as he walked into the kitchen.
"He's in his bedroom, still asleep."
"How long has he been sleeping?"
"Since around 3:30 this morning."
"Bo said he got hit pretty hard?"
"Back of his head." Doc nodded and made his way to Coy's bedroom, down the hall. Doc knocked on the door and walked in.
"Coy?" Doc walked up to Coy and placed his medical bag onto the floor. "Coy?" Coy slowly opened his eyes and starred at Doc. "You feeling okay?"
"My head hurts."
"I got some pain pills." Doc took out the pills. "I'll get you a glass of water." Several minutes later, Doc came back and Coy took the pills. "I want you to follow my finger, with your eyes, no moving your head." Coy did what he was asked.
"Very good." Doc examined the back of Coy's head. "It seems like you have a slight concussion. You should be fine in a couple of days. Drink plenty of water and just rest."
"Thanks." Coy closed his eyes and went back to sleep. Doc made his way to the living room.
"He has a slight concussion. He should be fine in a couple days. Is there someone that can help him with the boy and animals?"
"I can watch Tommy and the boys can help with the animals."
"You three are God-sends. I don't know anyone that helps others out, as much as your family does."
"You do."
"Well, that's my job. I get paid, you don't." Daisy smiled and shook her head. "I'll stop by tomorrow to check on him. You know the routine quite well."
"Yes, make sure he rests and gets plenty of fluids."
"See, ya tomorrow."
"Bye, Doc." Doc made his way back to the clinic. Daisy looked at the clock and noticed it was time for Tommy's nap. "Tommy, let's take a nap." Tommy gave her a sad look and nodded.
"Sleep with me?" Daisy thought for a minute, then replied. "Sure." Tommy's bed was small, so Daisy was a little uncomfortable at first. "Does daddy sleep with you?"
"Uh-huh." Tommy got comfortable and slowly fell asleep. Several hours later, Daisy woke up when she heard someone knocking on the front door. Daisy looked around and then checked her watch.
"I must have been tired." She rubbed her hand threw her hair and made her way to the door. "Hi, boys." Daisy opened the door for Bo and Luke.
"How's Coy doing?" Luke asked, as they made their way inside.
"I don't know. Tommy and I took a nap. Just woke up when I heard you at the door."
"Sorry for waking you."
"Luke, it's okay."
"We got the animals fed." Bo told her. "I'll check on Coy." Bo made his way to Coy's bedroom. He quietly opened the door and walked in. "Coy?" When he didn't wake, Bo shook his foot. "Coy?" Coy slowly opened his eyes and looked at Bo confused.
"Bo?"
"You feeling okay?" Coy rolled onto his back and rubbed his eyes.
"I think so. Man, I'm so tired."
"You want something to drink?" Coy only shook his head. "We took care of the animals and Daisy is still here with Tommy. We'll be back for tomorrow's chores."
"Thanks, Bo." Bo nodded and made his way back to the living room.
"How is he?"
"He's still tired."
"Would you guys like to stay for dinner?" Daisy asked Bo. Bo looked at Luke, and Luke nodded.
"Sure." Daisy picked up the phone and called The Boars Nest. "Hey, James. This is Daisy, I would like to order some fried chicken and all the fixings. Can you deliver it to Coy Duke's farm?"
"For how many?"
"Four adults and one little guy."
"See ya later."
"Thanks, bye." She hung up the phone and turned towards Bo. "Dinner's on the way."
"Sounds good." Bo replied, as he watched Luke play with Tommy, in the living room.
"He seems to trust Tommy, well enough."
"He trusts young children more than adults. Can't blame him on that."
"Me either." Daisy watched Luke color with Tommy for several minutes. "You think Luke will ever be the same as he was before?" Bo shook his head.
"I don't think so. His memory is slowly coming back, but not his personality. I don't think he'll ever fully trust people again."
"It took weeks for him to trust me." Daisy added.
"Only took him a second to trust me." Bo grinned and winked, as Daisy swatted his arm.
"Funny." Bo and Daisy made their way into the living room. "Hey Tommy, what are you coloring?" Tommy moved his hand and showed Daisy the page.
"Big Bird." Tommy replied, with a smile. Daisy noticed that Luke had helped Tommy color the page.
"You like coloring with Luke?"
"Uh-huh." They continued to color, as they waited for dinner. About an hour later, James arrived and knocked on the door. Bo opened the door for him, and James walked in.
"Thanks, James." Bo said as he took the bags and placed them on the table. "What do I owe ya?" James looked at Daisy, for her answer.
"Bo, it's on the house." Bo gave him a confused look, then looked at Daisy.
"Daisy, that's no way to run a business." Bo replied, as he took out his wallet. He turned and looked at James.
"Fifteen bucks." Bo took out a twenty and gave it to him.
"Keep the change."
"Thanks, Bo. Where's Coy?" He asked as he looked around.
"Not feeling good."
"I see. I best get back. Take it easy."
"You too." James nodded and left. Daisy took down the plates, as Bo took out the food.
"Boys. Dinners ready."
"Come on, Tommy." Luke told him. When Tommy didn't move, Luke whispered to him. "I'll color with you after dinner, okay?" Tommy nodded and put down his crayon. They walked hand-in-hand to the kitchen, and Luke helped Tommy into his chair. They all ate dinner and after Luke colored with Tommy for an half an hour, Bo and Luke left for home.
"Tommy, want to play with your blocks?"
"Yeah." Tommy went to his room and Daisy followed.
"Tommy, I have to check on your dad, okay?" Tommy nodded, as he stacked blocks on top of each other. Daisy walked into Coy's bedroom, and saw him sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Hey, Coy. How you feeling?" Coy looked up and replied. "Feeling better." She noticed that Coy had changed his clothes.
"How's Tommy?"
"He's good. Bo and Luke fed the animals and we all ate. There's some dinner left, if you're hungry."
"That would be great. I'm starving." They both made their way to the kitchen. When Tommy saw Coy, he ran to him.
"Daddy!" Coy picked him up and gave him a hug. "You have a boo-boo?"
"Yeah, honey I do." Tommy gave Coy a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks. I feel better already." Tommy smiled as Coy carried him to the kitchen. Tommy sat on Coy's lap as Daisy re-heated the meal, for Coy.
"You made all of this?"
"Gave a call to The Boars Nest."
"Thanks, Daisy." Coy ate his dinner and afterwards, they made their way to the living room. They watched tv for a couple hours and made their way to bed.
"Sleep with me?" Tommy asked Coy. Coy smiled and replied. "Move over."
The next day Daisy made her way home and life went on in Hazzard. Things although, would never be the same for the Duke family. Because as usual, things are different in Hazzard County.
