Ch 1

Today was the day. The very first mission. I was helping Peter Parker escort a prison convoy to the Raft. I looked like just your average Brooklyn kid. I always had too much homework and loved doing graffiti. But I was also the second Spider-Man. I had only just started when he was 14. Peter had been doing this for who knows how many years and he was 19. Way more experienced. But I've got time.

"This is a big operation." I said.

"Yeah, I've finally put down my foes. Now it's time to ship them off to prison." Peter replied.

"Who do you think's in there?" I asked.

"Could be anyone. Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, Kraven, or...someone bigger. Okay, we got a problem. Hold back, Miles." Peter warned.

I swung onto the chopper and shot some webs onto it's container.

"It's secure." I said.

Then the chopper plummeted down into the city and I screamed as I flew toward the propellers. Thankfully, Pete saved me just in time as the chopper crashed, hitting cars and trucks on the road.

"Pete, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"It's okay, we just have to contain it before-" Suddenly, the container popped open and Rhino came out.
"That happens." Pete finished.

"Hello, tiny spiders." Rhino growled.

Rhino charged but Pete flipped over him and began the rodeo.

"Miles, I've got Rhino, but you need to contain the escapees!" Pete said.

"Right." I said.

The prisoners had broken out of the crashed cars and trucks with their orange shirts.

"He's just one guy. We can take him." a prisoner said.

"You sure 'bout that?" I taunted.

Then I went to work, shutting them down with punches and kicks. The last guy tried to shoot me with his pistol but I went behind him and knocked him out with a swift right hook.

"Nap time, bro." I said.

Then Pete and I went on a wild rodeo with Rhino, crashing out of the mall where JJJ was doing his podcast in a hilarious looking Santa costume before we landed at the Roxxon Power Plant. Another squad of felons were there, and two of them had RPGs. I used regular and aerial combos to take them out before shots came down from the roof. I swing-kicked those guys off, too and knocked the rest down in a matter of seconds. My spider-sense went crazy all of a sudden and I could see why. Peter flew at me and I jumped out of the way as he hit an electrical generator and slumped down.

No, no, no, god not him, please, not him.

"Pete, wake up, man! Wake up! Wake up!"

Peter didn't reply. Then Rhino came in. This jerk was getting annoying.

"This spider is broke. I would like to exchange for a new one. Ah, this one will do." Rhino said.

Suddenly, my hand lit up with this strange golden glow. It was electricity. I didn't have time to understand what the heck was happening as Rhino charged at me.

"Bro, back...the hell...off!" Then I did it. I shocked Rhino through the wall. The rest of the fight was just me battering Rhino with punches, the electric shocks, and making him ram into electric generators until he passed out. An armored van pulled up and red-clad Roxxon guards came out along with a man in a black jacket.

"Wow. Guys, just wow!" he said.

"Simon Krieger. head of R&D at Roxxon Energy. Nice to meet you."
"You, too, Sorry our brawl ended in your backyard." Peter said.

"No, you actually did us a favor. We just brought the place and planned to tear it down but it looks like you beat us to it." Simon replied. "I wanted to thank you, both of you. Taking down Rhino?" Then he raised an eyebrow at me. "Solo? You are going places, bud."
"Thanks, but he's still dangerous." I said, referring to the knocked out Rhino.

"Nah, we'll hold him for the police." Simon replied. "I always think the supertroopers are overkill until something like this happens. Oh, gotta go. Hey, really great to meet you both. Future's looking bright.

"He's right, we should clear out, let the police take care of it." Pete said.

"Yeah, okay." I replied before we both swung out.

Something about this Simon Krieger guy was real suspicious. This guy seemed to be liking us way too much. But we didn't have to worry about him, cuz he's just the CEO of some company, right?
