"Now up the hill" said Goku as he pushes King Kai along snake way.
"Cmon knock it off for a second would ya, my feet are really killing here"
"1-2-1-2-1-2"
"A-i'm not the running type"
"Haha, keep going"
Bubbles jumps up and down and makes monkey sounds. Jeffrey levitates next to him. Goku stops.
"Woah, i forgot how looong snake way was. Listen uhh king kai, can't you run any faster, we're not making good time"
King Kai turns around
"How many times can i say this. We can't make bad time here because time never runs out"
"But i still can't wait to see this master of Otherworld. Talk about the ultimate fighting challenge!"
"I have to tell you Goku, the Grand Kai is more than a hundred times stronger than me but-"
"Only a hundred times?, aw that isn't much"
King Kai jumps up and whacks Goku over the head.
"But you should never think lightly of him or you're gonna be in trouble! He possesses great magic to aid him in the rule of Otherworld"
Goku rubs his head.
"Sure King Kai"
"Quiet! Now as you know i am King Kai, and watch over your part of space from above. But the universe is divided into four quadrants, north, south, east and west. Each with it's own Kai. But further above us is the Grand Kai, he is our ruler, and rules Otherworld. And to add more things to the litter, he's also a great martial artist, and his home has become an eternal training ground for heroic fighters who, like you, have been allowed to keep their bodies after death.
"Wow! Are you serious?, well if there's other fighters there too, i can't be late!"
Goku runs down snake-way. King Kai stands still. Goku soon runs back.
"Now i feel kinda silly cus was in such a rush i forgot to ask how to get to that place"
"We use the instant transmission"
"Really?"
"Yes, i know where it is. We could take the planes or transporters near the check-in station but they're for the common beings to use. Grab Bubbles and Jeffrey, then put your hand on my shoulder"
Goku grabbed Bubbles and Jeffrey and put his hand on King Kai's shoulder. King Kai used the instant transmission to transport to the check-in station.
"Since only Kai's and fighters are allowed at the Grand Kai's place, we'll have to leave Bubbles and Jeffrey here" King Kai said to Goku.
"Oh alright"
King Kai looked up to King Yemma.
"King Yemma"
"Oh, well what do we have here, an old friend Goku. Dead again already huh. And King Kai, how did you die?"
"Well uhm, that's sort of a long story"
"Nice to see you again King Yemma" said Goku.
"King Yemma, can you look after Bubbles and Jeffrey while we're headed to the Grand Kai's"
"Oh sure King Kai"
"Great, thanks"
King Kai turned to Bubbles and Jeffrey.
"Goodbye my friends. Be good for King Yemma"
They nodded and waved. Goku waved at them
"Bye guys"
Goku put his hand on King Kai's shoulder and King Kai transported them to the Grand Kai's planet.
Goku and King Kai walk while observing other fighters of various appearances train.
"Wow this place is a dream come true King Kai, look at all these fighters"
"Hey King Kai" one of the fighters says to him.
"Heyyy"
"It's been a long time" he bowed.
"Yes, training hard?"
"Yes"
"Hey i'd say you sure are famous here in the otherworld aren't you?" said Goku.
"Well just with people from the north quadrant"
"So... He's from where i'm from?"
"Sure, same galaxy, but he's about two thousand years your senior, hehe"
"Oh... Two thousand years... WHAT? Two thousand years?! Bu... He's been training himself for that long?"
Goku and King Kai reach the Grand Kai's place.
"So. This is the place. Not too shabby is it Goku"
"Yeah it's alright, but where's the owner? Ive got to see him. The most powerful man in Otherworld what's his name"
King Kai exploded in anger "You will address him as the Grand Kai! Keep talking like that and you'll be up a creek!"
"Cos he's that powerful?, this big kai?"
"GRAND Kai"
"Grand Kai..."
"That sounds much better Goku. You know in all these years i have only seen the Grand Kai fight a few times"
"Really?"
"Yes"
A voice can be heard from behind
"You...it's you!"
King Kai looks back
"Hm?, whose me?"
West Kai and Pikkon stand there.
"Well if it isn't west Kai" said King Kai, then he and West Kai walked over to each-other.
"What are you doing here" said West Kai.
"Take a guess!"
"I hope it's not to see the Grand Kai. We have an appointment. As you know Pikkon here is the prize of the west quadrant. The Grand Kai called for him specifically, hehehehe"
Goku was intrigued. West Kai walked around King Kai, looking at his halo. King Kai grew nervous.
"What? Stop staring"
"Ahhhh. Hahahahah" laughed West Kai.
"What?"
"You really are dead!"
"Yeah so what?!"
"The North Kai is dead!" West Kai laughed.
"I was involved in something very important"
Goku stepped forward, "That's right sir, King Kai saved my whole planet"
West Kai looked up at Goku, "Hmm, excuse me, whose this guy?"
"I'm Goku"
"Goku is a righteous fighter who has saved his side of the galaxy many times. He is an incredibly strong guy"
"Oh, incredibly strong you say. Well, you are surely not suggesting he's as strong as my Pikkon"
"No. Goku is stronger"
"Oh. Do you have any idea what you are suggesting?"
"Yes. That Goku is stronger"
"Impossible! No one is stronger than Pikkon!"
"Well Goku is!"
"I don't believe you!
"Fine then i'll prove it!"
Goku and Pikkon were intrigued.
"Your on!"
Goku looked at Pikkon.
"Now! Get him Goku!"
Goku looked at King Kai.
"Wait, you want us to fight right here?"
"He's afraid!" shouted West Kai, "Take him out quick Pikkon!"
"Hold on!" a voice from afar echoed.
"That must be..." said King Kai.
"The Grand Kai" King Kai and West Kai said in unison. Then Grand Kai appeared before them.
"Woah!" said the Grand Kai, "We can't have these two mighty warriors battle already. We have to save it for the tournament"
"Grand idea! Grand Kai" said West Kai.
"A tournament?" said Goku.
"Yeah, there's a tournament held here every 5 years which you can participate in. The next tournament is scheduled 2 years from now, so i suggest you train"
"2 whole years?!"
"Yeah"
"Time doesn't mean much here" said King Kai, "It'll fly by"
"Darn. Guess i better get started then"
Goku now begins his 2 year long training session on the Grand Kai's planet. What new methods of training will he uncover in this strange place, and how much power will he gain.
