Song: Broken Bones by Kaleo

Revenge.

Revenge for everything you took from me.

Revenge for hurting my children.

Revenge for hurting the woman I love the most in this world.

Revenge for killing my wife.

Revenge for breaking me apart piece by piece.

Elliot looked in the mirror one last time. He wanted revenge even though he could never do it. He sighed angrily as he stepped outside of his car. How is today even possible? He placed his sunglasses on so he could hide his anger. Across the street he saw his organized crime boss Ayanna Bell standing on the sidewalk waving at him to come by her.

"Elliot, hey." Ayanna said as she walked towards Elliot.

"Hey." Elliot said angrily as he stopped in front of her.

"I know you are mad." Ayanna said quietly.

"Mad is the understatement of the century!" Elliot said as he his right hand pulled on his goatee.

"Yes, I understand." Ayanna said as she saw the federal prosecutors walk up the stairs.

"Ayanna, no offense. But there is no way you could understand. You didn't lose everything because." Elliot paused.

"Yes, you're right. The decision was out of my control." Ayanna said sympathetically.

"I will never understand this decision. We should go inside. The meeting will start soon." Elliot turned and faced the stairs to the courthouse.

He sat in a room. It was so cold he shivered. The walls were an awful pale white and bare. He hated being alone. Alone with his thoughts. It was a self made prison. Reminders of all the pain, hurt and love he had lost over the years.

His children were the only good thing he had done in his life. They were the best part of him. They were also his biggest weakness. He would do anything for any of them. He wasn't supposed to play favorites. But he had one.

His oldest daughter. She is the one who taught him what love was. She was the first person he loved completely with nothing in it for himself. He only wanted her happiness and to protect her from the evil that surrounded his life. He loved his other kids. But his daughter was the one person he loved the most.

The person he hated the most was simple. He had been plotting his revenge for months. The only advantage to time was thinking of ways he would make the man suffer. How letting time pass would be his ultimate revenge. His defenses would be lowered. He would think he won. Only then would he get his REVENGE.

Revenge.

Revenge for everything you took from me.

Revenge for hurting my children.

Revenge for hurting the woman I love the most in this world.

Revenge for breaking me apart piece by piece .

"Time to go. The meeting is about to start." He looked up and saw his lawyer standing there.

"Well they can't start without me. I'm the star attraction." Richard Wheatley said and laughed.

"Please just sit quietly in the meeting,'' his lawyer Jake Burleson pleaded.

"Me? I'm always a good boy. But for your sake we better not have any issues." Richard said with an icy glare. He turned quickly putting on his coat and walked to the door.

"Yes, yes sir." Jake said nervously.

Richard held out his hands as the guard Dan Robinson cuffed him. "Hopefully this is the last time I see your face." Richard smiled and said to the guard.

"Feelings mutual Wheatley. You're a small-time punk with daddy issues. Let's go." Robinson led Wheatley down the hallway and to the elevator. They rode up the elevator in silence.

As they exited the elevator Richard saw him. Elliot Stabler. He was just about to go into the courtroom but he looked back. Elliot looked directly at Richard. Richard smiled and held up his cuffed hands waving. Perfect he thought.

Elliot saw Wheatley and his dumb fuckin smirk and wave. He stormed into the courtroom unable to hide his anger. He still couldn't get over this. Elliot sat next to Ayanna in the second row behind the prosecution table. "I just saw Wheatley and he seems very happy. Of course he is. He found a loophole. To hell with justice and serving time for your crimes."

"Agree, I'm not happy about this either." Ayanna turned and saw federal prosecutor Vince Baldi walk into the courtroom.

"Ayanna, Stabler." Vince said as he sat down at the prosecution table and opened his briefcase.

Five minutes later the side door opened. Richard Wheatley walked through the door followed by two guards. His lawyer Jake Burleson and his assistant were already sitting at the defense table. Richard turned to look at Elliot and Ayanna. "I'm glad you both came."

"Court is to come to order. Please all stand for Judge Lee." The bailiff said as the judge came in and sat at the bench.

"Please sit. Prosecutor Baldi please give me an update." Judge Lee asked as she looked at Richard Wheatley.

"Yes. We have come up with a special agreement with the defendant Richard Wheatley. He will be helping the Organized Crime unit with information on existing cases. In exchange for helping us he will receive a reduced sentence. He will meet weekly with the unit. Some weeks he will go directly to the office." Vince Baldi said as he walked up to the judge handing her paperwork detailing the agreement .

"This is highly unusual. Who will be his contact at the organized crime unit?" Judge Lee asked as she looked over the paperwork.

"Elliot Stabler will be his contact your honor." Vince Baldi replied.

"How is that possible? The Wheatley's killed Stabler's wife. Sounds like a complete shitshow forcing him to work with his wife's killer." Judge Lee replied looking sternly at the prosecutor .

"Elliot Stabler being the contact was the only way Wheatley agreed to our deal. He has vital information that could really help us." Vince Baldi remarked as he looked at Elliot.

"Stabler, please tell me your opinion on this matter." Judge Lee asked motioning for Elliot to stand up.

"Your honor. If Wheatley can help us I will be his contact." Elliot replied. He sat back down. His left hand was balled into a fist with his fingernails digging into the palm of his hand.

"Burleson, does your client agree to the terms of the agreement?" Judge Lee asked as she looked at him.

"Yes, your honor. We agree to all the terms." Burleson replied as he looked at Wheatley .

"Fine. I will grant this special arrangement. We will meet back here in six months for a review. Until then I want a written report each month on the progress. And Wheatley if your information isn't valuable I will terminate this arrangement." Judge Lee dismissed the court hearing and walked to the door leading into the judges chambers.
