I decided to walk up the mountain to see if the legend was true.

That all children that walk onto it never come back.

I'm 16 so I think it doesn't count...

A mountain lion roars at me which immediately sends me into a sprint.

I ran as quick as horse but a branch, unnoticeable until too late, tripped me which sent me flying into the abyss below.

I screamed as loud as I could as I fell further down.

I saw a bed of flowers sitting right where I was going to fall and prayed that somehow I would be able to survive.

I woke up with an extreme pain wracking across my body.

"Goddamn it, I bet this flower is fertilised with the bodies of the other children!"

I try and roll over but the flowers are too bouncy to keep a balance.

It worked like a spring and I managed to get myself off that way.

I crawled up onto my feet and limped through the ruins.

It must have been an expedition down here during the ancient times.

I manage to recover enough to stop limping just in time to see a flower sprout out of the ground.

"Howdy! I'm Flowey the flower!"

That fall must have done something to my head.

I ignore it and walk past and I hear it shout "Hey don't leave!"

Ok so now I can't even trust my own eyes since I see some seeds being held in the air.

"Fam, what the hell!" That must be a mutation as those seeds are 15x bigger than normal.

I look around and I see it's face.

"Let's teach about the basics of the underground!" Flowey said

I'll listen to my own delusion.

"Look at your chest, you see a heart there?"

I looked down and saw a dark red heart pulsing between bright red and dark red.

"Red represents Determination, I don't know what's going on with your soul getting brighter and darker."

"What do you mean by soul?" I ask the flower.

"The heart is a representation of your soul. Determination is the strongest of them all."

I smirk at that, ofcourse I would have the strongest soul.

Even my delusions contain my pride.

"Now I need to teach you how to defend yourself with your soul." Flowey said

He shoots a bullet at my soul and I stay in place.

A sharp pain erupts in my chest!

"You aren't fake after all!" I exclaim in shock.

The flower smirks.

"If I'm fake then you can definitely deal with this!"

He summons seeds in every direction and starts to close in.

I rush through one end and boot his face.

He looks at me in shock.

"YOU CANT ATTACK DURING MY TURN!" He screams in anger.

He launched a sharp vine to try and impale me so I step to the side and rip him out of the ground.

"Dodge this!"

I slam him back into the ground and grind my heel into him.

Flowey absorbed himself into the ground and ran away.

I see a screen pop up.

"Flowey has ran away!" It said.

I take a deep breath and slap the screen away.

"I don't have time for this bullshit!"

I walk through the ruins to try and finish off Flowey and I see some frogs jumping around.

"Where is the water though? Frogs can't survive without water close by."

I look closer and see they are 3x bigger than a garden frog.

Everything is bigger in this place.

I see a bipedal goat rush over.

I keep my calm externally as I try not to go into fight or flight.

"Hello, good sir or ma'am. How may I help you today." I say in a brain dead moment. I'm the one that needs help!

"You are the first child over 14 to fall in this place since Chara!" As I look closer, I see she looks like a woman.

I think it's safe to assume at this point.

"I'm sorry but who are you? I had to deal with this annoying flower on the way here."

I'm trying not to offend the monsters of legend here.

I cannot believe I fell inside their last civilisation!

It's probably why I survived because the flowers were way too springy.

"Come with me. There are traps within this place that can cause serious harm to you!" She says in a panicked manner.

I walk along with her and I see the goddamn flower.

I shouted over to it "Get lost Flowey or I'll stomp you to smithereens!"

He looked over in fear and the look intensified when seeing goat woman.

"T-Toriel! I have a right to live here don't I?" He stuttered in fear.

"It is not after what you tried to do!" She looked him down and he absorbed himself into the ground.

His face looked deformed as hell.

"That was the flower I was talking about." I said to Toriel.

"Very good job on fighting him off. He gets very scared at people who can do that." She said

We walk through the traps and arrive at Toriel's home
