The New Voice
Intro chapter

People had grown tired of celebrity judges and NBC decided to switch the format to use fictional characters. The Voice recently replaced its judges with these new judges: April Ludgate, River Tam, and Zoidberg. The show also changed its style recently as a result. The new judges were all introduced and opened by introducing themselves.
The chair turned around and revealed April Ludgate started. She then said sarcastically "I'm April and I am lively and colorful because my mom is Puerto Rican." The audience then clapped and then was introduced to River Tam. She then introduced herself by saying "I'm River and I can't sleep. There's too much screaming." After clapping, the final chair turned around and Dr. Zoidberg introduced himself. He then said "Why Not Zoidberg?" The audience had a much less positive opinion of the alien than of the two women who resembled younger versions of Aubrey Plaza and Summer Glau respectively given his appearance and people threw their drinks at him.
The announcer then said "Tonight, we are getting America's aspiring singers to participate to create "America's next top hit single" We have many wonderful contestants from all 50 states coming tonight and our panel will judge them". The announcer then followed by saying "Tonight, we will introduce our first contestant, an aspiring pop singer from San Antonio, Texas named Joanna Brandes who is short, blonde, has blue eyes and learned to sing at church".
