Stormhawks : 30 kisses for Aerrow and Piper
Kiss 1 — Late visit
1st kiss
It was night on Artapos, the real name of the far side. It's been one year since the Stormhawks left Atmos to follow Cyclonis and stop her. But it wasn't that easy and Master Cyclonis found allies who wished to conquer the world, just like her. Lukily, the Stormhawks also found allies : the Falcons. A squadron just like them, traveling everywhere to save all of Artapos. The Falcons were young — same age as the Stormhawks — and adventurous, their leader was a young adult named Charles and he was the last descendant of the previous Falcons, being the only son of the late hero. He was also dating his first officer and best friend, Idorina, a charming young lady with midnight blue hair and strange locks of hair near her face – black and white on the right side, golden on the left side – who was also a cristal mage just like Piper. But Idorina used her wings to fly unlike Piper who use a crystal. Idorina has deep and cold ice blue eyes.
Finn found another prankster in the name of Glenn, a blond sharpshooter with big blue eyes. The strong of the Falcons was name Titus and was a triton. The carrier pilote was an albe named Magnus and the co-pilote and mission specialist was a sky monkey named Equinox.
The Falcons were the one who escorted the Stormhawks and guided them. They all became friends really fast, their similar age maybe helping them... Or was it there sense of justice and will to save everyone ? Not quite sure. Being the only female on their team, Piper and Idorina became really good friends and they had many shared interest.
That night, after a long long day fighting Master Cyclonis and her new allies, the Stormhawks and Falcons where taking a good rest on a remote terra, too small to be seen on a map. It was a quite place and both the Condor and Rapace where parked near trees and a river.
It was a long and harsh day for all the Stormhawks and Falcons. Everyone had scratches, burns, bruises and bumps. For Aerrow and Charles, being the daredevils they were, the ended with some broken ribs and twisted ankles. It was up for Idorina to treat them with her healing powers. Also, Piper nearly took a fatal blow and was saved thanks to Aerrow's sky knigtht special moves.
After eating together, both squadron went back to their ship saying good night. But before going on her aircraft, Idorina grabed Piper's hand and pulled her apart.
« So...how's it going between you and your commander ? »
« Nothing special... » Piper sigh.
« Ow... But he's been looking at you with those puppy eyes all night » said Idorina, disappointed.
« Puppy...eyes... ? » chuckled Piper.
Both girls started to giggle. From the first time she saw them, Idorina thought that Piper and Aerrow were a couple. Piper confessed to Idorina that she has a crush on her red hair leader but never told him, too afraid of being rejected and end their friendship. The Falcons' crystal mage never doubted that her feelings were shared by her commanding officer.
Idorina was dating her commanding officer and best friend. According to Rina, Charles confessed his feeling after a difficult battle, where the crystal mage nearly died after a blast of energy on the back. Since then, she had a large scar on her back. Charles, afraid to loose her after many days in coma, couldn't hold back and confessed his feelings in the infirmary of the Rapace.
« Seriously » said Idorina « I'm sure something will happen tonight. »
« Is it a bet ? » Piper asks. « No, because I'm not going to start a bet with you since what happen to Charles the last time he made one with you... »
Idorina only shrugged and didn't comment. She then smiled a mysterious smile and say :
« Oh well...you'll see. He almost lost you today. He's not going to make the same mistake twice... »
With that, she turned around and bide her good night, leaving a confused Piper.
On the Condor, Piper was in her room, sitting on her bed, reading the latest romance novel of an author name Lady Lione. It was a cute story about two childhood friends who decided to travel around the world in search of a cure for the deadly sick girl. The boy, a brave sky knight, was determine to save his best friend at all cost.
That story made Piper smile, making her think of her daring sky knight and best friend. She had a long time crush on him but only recently understood what that feeling was. She understood thanks to Idorina who, from the beginning, thought that they were an item.
The cristal mage closed her book and left it on her nightstand. She started to remove her uniforme and grab her pajamas — a long old grey shirt and short black shorts — when she heard a knock on her door. First, she tought about leaving and going to sleep, but her curiosity rose when she saw what time it was.
« Who's there ? » she called.
The door opened and there stand Aerrow, a smirk on his face and arms crossed. He was only wearing an old grey baggy pants and no shirts. Piper blushed a little.
« It's late » he said, a matter of fact. « What are you doing ? »
« Reading before going to sleep. »
« What where you reading ? »
Piper blushed furiously but didn't answered. Instead, she took her book and showed it to her commanding officer. He looked at the title and smirked.
« I didn't know you were such a romantic ? »
« Don't mention... »
Piper took her book back and put it back inside her drawer. Aerrow kept his eyes focus on his best friend. He memorized everything about her. She then turn to face him.
« Why are you here ? »
« Making sure everyone is fast asleep » Aerrow said, coming closer to Piper.
« Well... I'm off to bed now. »
« Are you sure ? Won't you take another book and start to read again ? Maybe something about cristals ? »
« Is it a reproach ? » Piper asked, a bit annoyed, hands on her hips.
« It's late » Aerrow pointed, crossing his arms over his torso.
« And may I remind you that you're inside a lady's room at a late hour ? »
Aerrow raised an eyebrow at her comment. But a smirk appeared on his face and he came closer to Piper.
« Oh... And what's the problem ? » Aerrow teased.
« You know what I mean... » frowned Piper, arms crossed and moving backward without realizing it.. « We are not kids anymore...and leaving teenagehood. »
« So... What's the problem ? » aked Aerrow with a devilish grin.
« We are adults, young adults. Anything can happen. »
« I don't see what's wrong... »
« A woman may not want to have a man peeping into her privacy. »
« We're not some simple man and woman. We're best friends and we know each other very well. »
« Not everything » remonstrate Piper.
« So, all we have to do... »
« Aerrow ! » Piper cut.
Now, the sky night was just in front of her, only two to three inches away from her head and she couln't retreat, her bed blocking her way. Aerrow saw that she had no way to escape and his grin grew wider. With ease, he approched Piper, closing the gap and making her fall backward on her bed. He blocked her way out by being on top of her, hands on either side of her head. He looked into her carnelian orbs while she drown herself in his emerald ones. Now, their faces where mere inches apart.
« Aerrow… »
« Piper, I can't live without you in my life. I almost lost you today… »
Their voices where only whisper now, not that it was necessary to speak louder.
« But you didn't lost me » Piper smiled. « You won't lose me that easily. »
« But… What if…I were too late ? What if…that blast touched you ? »
« It didn't and Rina was covering for me from afar. She's quite the sharpshooter as well, you know ? »
« Yeah… But in that case, I wished I were your knight… »
Piper didn't have time to ask further because Aerrow finally gave in and crashed his lips against her soft one's. Piper's eyes widen in surprise but closed softly, snaking her arms around Aerrow's neck. He cradled her head with his hands and deepen the kiss by letting his tong brushed her lower lip. She open her mouth and both where exploring each other's. After a while, they separated and kept their eyes locked.
« Wow » Piper whispered, blushing.
Aerrow smiled and quickly brushed her lips with his before saying :
« I couldn't bare not saying how I felt about you before it was too late. »
« Well, technically you didn't talk » Piper chuckled. « But I don't mind that way. »
«Good! Because I'm not done. It's been years since I wanted to do this.»
«And I'm not going to stop you» Piper smiled.
They went for another long and passionate kiss. Piper's fingers were playing with strands of Aerrow's hair while he slides one hand over her curves to her hips, caressing her skin under her shirt, and the other was caressing her cheek. When they broke apart, they decided to get more comfortable on Piper's bed, snuggling under her cover.
« I love you, Piper. »
« And I love you too » she said, kissing him on the lips.
His arms were resting around her waist and his head on top of hers. Her hands were against his torso.
« You were right » he said. « Anything can happen when a man visits a lady's room late at night. »
« Like finally telling each other how they feel about the other ? Yes, you're right. And it only took for one of them to nearly die… »
« I'm not letting that happen again ! » said Aerrow, determined and hugging tighter.
« I'm sure of that » Piper yawned. « It was wise to not make a bet with Rina... »
« A bet ? »
« Yeah... She was sure that something would happen between us tonight. »
« Oh » said Aerrow, impressed. « Yeah... It's wiser to never make a bet with her. »
« Right... »
They spent the rest of the night sleeping next to each other and never letting go.
