"We lost a Ultra Beast!"
Lusamine looked shocked, turning to Faba once he said that. A group of scientists were behind him, all dressed out and cloaked up. "Which one did we lose?!" She asked him.
"The Nihilego, the shiny one to be more specific!" Faba said, seeming out of breathe.
Lusamine's eyes widened. She knew what that meant. The Aether Paradise would be in danger and-
"MADAM PRESIDENT, LILLIE AND COSMOG ARE MISSING!" A worker rushed in. "THEY'RE HEADED TO THE BOATS!"
"Go after her! RIGHT THIS INSTANT!" She addressed to the workers. "LOCK UP ALL EXITS! FABA, MAKE SURE THAT POKEMON IS SECURED!" She began to call out orders, rushing out with the group.
The group of workers went to the docks, while Faba and Lusamine rushed over to the elevator. There wasn't much time, as Lusamine pushed the second basement floor.
"Don't tell me she got to it…" Faba worries to himself under his breathe.
"There's no way, but we must make sure." Lusamine said.
The elevator's gate open, as it lands down. The two immediately rush over to the labs, wasting no time. If Lillie is escaping, then that means trouble. But if she's escaping with that, it's even more of a issue.
Faba is the one to open the door, once he does, he know he's screwed. Lusamine comes up from behind, her eyes widening.
All the furniture is either sheared or clawed up. In the middle of the room is Type:Null, with a small splash of blood on it. It turned and tossed around the room, trying to get the helmet off its head.
"Faba, we're going to need to calm it down with force." Lusamine whispered to him. She was rarely liked this, it was very serious. Especially with this Pokemon.
"Right, President." He nodded, trying not to sound too nervous.
"On my signal, bring out your Hypno to use Hypnosis." She whispered to Faba, as she quietly pulled out an Pokeball from her pocket. He did as ordered, just waiting for the signal to send Hypno out.
"NOW! LILLIGANT, MEGA DRAIN!"
Lusamine's Lilligant came out, immediately letting out vines and tangling around the Pokemon. Type:Null let out a small growl, before slashing the vines apart using its own helmet.
"Hypnosis!" Faba cried out, his Hypno swinging its pendulum. He could see Type:Null begin to slow down, but the Pokemon had more fight in it.
"Faba, your timing was a bit late but it doesn't matter. I'll slow down Type:Null 2 until Hypnosis comes into effect!" She said. Her Lilligant grabbed hold of Type:Null, clinging onto it tightly.
And in that moment, Type:Null let out an Shadow Ball. Directed at Faba. Lusamine's eyes widened, as the assistant scientist was beginning to realize. In those seconds, it was a rash decision to make.
Lillie bit down on her lip, as Aether Paradise began to fade out from her sight. Nothing would never be the same again. She wouldn't see Mother, or find her brother anymore now.
She couldn't save that Type:Null however. And she didn't dare to even look at that small cut on her hand either.
But, there was a positive to it.
"Cos! Cos!"
Cosmog was playfully dancing around, without a single care in the world.
Maybe it wasn't such a bad decision to leave…It was for the better, now that Cosmog was safe and sound.
Suddenly the boat began to rock.
"Cosmog?" The Pokemon looked at Lillie, before looking around for the source of the sound.
"Don't worry, Cosmog. It's probably just some…rocky waves and nothing but that." Lillie said to the Pokemon, trying to comfort it.
But to Lillie's dismay, it wasn't just some rough waves out in the ocean. The sky began to darken, as the clouds covered up the sun.
"Oh no…No, no, no, no…" Lillie cursed herself, immediately running back front to the boat's controls. "Why today? Why now?!" She said to herself.
"Mog? COSMOG!"
The boat shook, Lillie falling down on the ground, completely taken aback. Cosmog rushed over to her, hugging her. It was scared, rightly so.
Lillie hugged the small Pokemon back, as she sat up. "It's fine…Cos-Nebby. We're…going to be okay. The storm's going to end. It…" She sobbed.
Another lighting strike, and it all went black for Lillie and Nebby.
Lillie wakes up, cold and shivering. Nebby is also shaking too, crying. The two must have landed on a beach, by some chance. She slightly moves her body, crawling on the wet sand. She coughs out water, Nebby looks back at her.
"..Cos?" He whispers out.
"I am...going to get help...No matter what." She said, looking back up. But her vision is getting blurry.
This is it for her.
But two silhouettes from the distance see her.
Author's Purpose: i also had this idea for a story but i hesitated and eventually here we are. anyways i hope you guys liked the prologue so far and have a good day/night! because when i am typing this, it is 1 am!
