It was time for another Time Patrol mission, and Charri was as ready as she could be. She'd gotten stronger after sparring with Deimos, but she couldn't quite get over the Super Saiyan wall and achieve Super Saiyan 2. She just hoped she'd be able to reach that step soon, or she'd struggle with what was to come.

But she'd have to worry about that later, since Towa and Mira had made their presences known, and Peparia was nowhere to be seen, so Trunks wound need to help Charri. They entered the timeline, and they prepared for battle.

But Trunks did something strange this time; instead of powering up, his ki signature started to disappear. She looked over and saw a crimson flame starting to burst from him, and suddenly, his hair and eyes turned red. Trunks was a Super Saiyan God.

This took Charri aback for a moment as Trunks rushed in at Mira. She had no idea Trunks was this strong! The two most powerful Time Patrollers had reached heights Charri could only dream of!

Charri powered up to Super Saiyan, but she knew she'd get in the way unless she followed Trunks' orders; if he was fighting Mira on even footing as a Super Saiyan God, then there was verry little Charri herself could do. The best she could do was sit back and charge up a Supernova, a move she learned from Cooler, and launch it when Trunks told her to.

And just when Goku left the fight to Gohan, that was when Charri launched her attack. It connected with with Mira, but unfortunately, it did little to no damage. Mira began powering up, but just before he could attack, Towa made her appearance by teleporting in.

"Sorry for the wait," Towa said, putting her hand on Mira's shoulder. "Everything's ready."

"What are you up to this time, Towa?!" Trunks said, powering down from Super Saiyan God, knowing full well he couldn't win at this point. Not with both there.

"I imagine you'll have your share of fun today," Towa said flirtatiously. And without another word, she teleported both her and Mira out.

"I imagine she's messed with the Cell games," Trunks said, turning to Charri, who had also powered down at this point. "And because I'm already involved in them, I can't help you."

"I understand," Charri said. "I'll meet you back at the Time Nest."

Trunks closed his eyes and disappeared, leaving Charri to her own devices. She took to the air and rushed to the Cell Games Arena, only to find it just before Gohan transformed into Super Saiyan 2, with the Cell Juniors attacking the warriors. There were more of them than there should be, so Charri powered up to Super Saiyan and went all out against the extras.

It wasn't long before Gohan got over the Super Saiyan Wall and reached Super Saiyan 2. As happened in the proper history, he wiped out the rest of the Cell Juniors in a single attack. But Towa's magic showed its ugly head and Charri saw the change she'd made; the Metal Coolers from the Cooler timeline came out of a wormhole. And even though everyone was stronger than the Metal Coolers, there were a lot of them.

Charri did everything she could to keep the Metal Coolers focused on her, but they kept coming out of the wormhole. And since Cell had destroyed the Senzu beans at this point in the timeline, Charri did the only thing she could; she sacrificed her own supply and tossed one each to Goku, Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo.

"Hold these guys off! I'll cut them off at the source!" Charri shouted as each caught their bean. She then blasted into the wormhole and found herself on New Namek, which was under the thrall of the Big Gete Star.

Charri fought as hard as she could, launching Supernovas, Kamehamehas and her other strongest attacks, but the Coolers just kept coming. They were wearing her down with each strike, each blast, every dodge she had been forced to perform. And with every 1 she destroyed, 3 took its place.

Charri felt so worthless. She couldn't keep up. History depended on her, and she couldn't keep up, and she didn't have any Senzu beans to refresh her strength, having given them to those fighting Cell. And that was when she realized this was it. This was her chance to get over the Super Saiyan wall. She channeled all her feelings of worthlessness, all her anger at herself and channeled all her power within and let it explode.

She looked at her hands and noticed her aura flared. She could feel the new power she had unlocked. She was still exhausted, but a little refreshed from the power up. And that was when she heard Trunks on her communicator. He'd entered the timeline once again and using his technical knowledge, he placed a virus that would cause the Big Gete Star to explode, and he was joining Charri to hold them off until it did.

Once the Coolers were gone, Charri, still in Super Saiyan 2, flew through the wormhole to return to the Cell Games. And just as she landed on the battlefield, she looked up and blasted the wormhole. And between Trunks destroying the Big Gete Star and the wormhole behind her, all the Metal Coolers were gone.

Unfortunately for Gohan, this was the point where he hit his lowest ebb. His dad had sacrificed himself to save the Earth, and Cell had returned to life and killed Trunks. Gohan had also had to save Vegeta from Cell, and his arm had been broken in the process. And of course, Cell had been empowered by Towa's magic.

But now that she was a Super Saiyan 2, Charri was Gohan's equal at his strongest. She rushed into the fight, doing her best to wear down Cell for Gohan's beam struggle.

Cell, of course, was getting frustrated. He was supposed to be Perfect, the strongest of all, and he was being beaten by this unknown Saiyan? How was this possible?

But eventually, Cell didn't need to worry about that anymore. He'd been worn down enough for the beam struggle to begin. Gohan charged up his Kamehameha and Cell did the same, only for Goku to lend Gohan his power from the afterlife to give the boy what he needed to win. And with her job done, Charri returned to the Time Nest.

"Good job reaching Super Saiyan 2," Trunks said upon her return. "Just keep in mind the weaknesses of the next stage as you prepare for it."

"I didn't know you were a Super Saiyan God," Charri said nervously. "How did you do it?"

"I actually had to train with Whis before I could get there," Trunks said. "That would probably be your best bet, too."

"Well, we need you get ready for your next missions. If Towa continues her path the same as before, you'll be facing Majin Buu soon," the Kaioshin of Time said. "I've contacted Lord Beerus and Whis, and they'll be here soon to help with your training."

"Chronoa?" Milele said as she walked down the stairs toward her teacher. "The tokitoki is ready. It's time for him to lay his egg."

"Oh!" the Kaoshin of Time shouted unexpectedly. "Well, duty calls! Everyone, make sure you're ready for your next missions, because I've got to go!"

Author's Note: This chapter was frustrating to do since I just wanted to get past it so I could get to the good stuff. It took a while for me to find a hook to make it interesting for me. I had the idea that Trunks would be a Super Saiyan God for a while now, but it took Charri going Super Saiyan 2 for me to finally get excited about this. And with the Chronicle of Ana Shepard over, only this and Peparia's ongoing sagas are my fanfiction focus.
