Izuku was headed home for the weekend. It had been a while since he'd been there to see his mom, so they both were excited for it. He had even asked to bring over his friends, and they all decided the wanted to come too.

Now, "all" encompassed a bit more than he had originally anticipated, but in the end, he was glad so many wanted to come along. He had originally invited Uraraka, Iida, and Todoroki to come along, but Kaminari and Ashido had overheard and decided they, too, would tag along, which meant that Kirishima and Kacchan (who wasn't going to miss the chance to have Auntie Inko's cookies for the first time in years) came along as well.

His mom, unfortunately, had decided this was a great excuse to bring out the old photo albums. Of course, Ashido, Uraraka, and Kaminari seemed the most excited about it, the others also following along as they flipped through the pages cooing at baby Izuku. Izuku and Kacchan ("I lived it, I don't need to see the nerd's life again.") were helping his mom out in the kitchen, especially now that there were twice as many mouths to feed.

Everything was going well. Everyone seemed happy (or their version of it), and dinner was coming along nicely. Things went downhill when Ashido shouted.

"Yo, Midoriya! Is this your dad!?"

This caused the three in the kitchen to tense up. It had been years since any of them had seen the man, and a few months since they last heard from him. He wasn't a total deadbeat, but he wasn't really around, and Izuku nor Kacchan could really remember much of what he was like in person.

Izuku plastered a smile back on his face and made to go back to the others to take a look when his mom stopped him.

"Oh, that reminds me! I actually found a video with your father in it!" Now, Izuku didn't care much about the man these days, but he was still mildly interested, and with his friends here, what could go wrong anyway? So, he told her to go get it.

Coming up to the group in the other room, Izuku took a look at the photo that contained his purported father. He was tall, much taller than his mom or Izuku himself would likely ever get. He had short, straight white hair and a big smile adorning his face. The man was also wearing a suit, which was strange given that a neighborhood park seemed to be the setting of this particular photograph.

The man looked familiar to Izuku, and while his brain was telling him to think more on it, he attributed the familiarity to the fact that he was his father.

His mom came back and got the video set up while everyone else settled in to watch, many excited to see a little Izuku and his father in action.

It was a cute scene to start out. Izuku was laughing as he pulled tissue after tissue from the box, tossing them around the room. His father was in the background, none the wiser to the mess being created behind him as he focused on whatever he was working on.

The camera shook as the holder, evidently Inko, giggled at the sight.

"Hisashi, I thought you said you'd watch over Izuku!" Hisashi turned around, and his face changed from that of questioning to one of mild horror at the tissues littered about the room.

"In my defense, he was giggling and seemed happy. I didn't see a need to check it out."

The video continued for a short while longer, but for five students it had stopped there.

Ah. I guess there is more to the photo. Izuku just stared blankly at the screen, having recognized the voice from an event not too long ago, coincidentally having happened around the same time frame his father stopped calling his mom. From the corner of his eye, he could see Kacchan gaping at him.

"What the fuck, Deku."

"In my defense, I couldn't have known. I haven't personally talked to him in years. Though, I guess we know why he stopped coming home so long ago."

Kacchan just grimaced at the thought. Todoroki, Iida, and Kirishima, three of the group that had been there in Kamino, looked sick to their stomachs, and a little unsure of what this all meant. The others just looked confused.

"What do you mean by that, Izuku?"

"Let's talk about it later, ok, Mom?" Izuku needed the time to figure out how to explain why so many of them had such bad reactions to him, how to explain what her husband actually did.

"Dude," Kirishima spoke next, "is he part of the reason why we all made it out alive that night?"

That was not something the five who were in Kamino wanted to think about.

"Should we… tell someone?" Izuku sighed. Iida had a point, but he wasn't sure who to tell nor how to go about this in general. It wasn't exactly the easiest thing to confess, and there are people at there who would not take kindly to this revelation.

"We should let Midoriya think on it before doing anything rash." Todoroki saved Izuku from having to ask for that exact thing.

"Yeah, just give me some time. I need to figure out who I can tell, since not everyone would be understanding. I mean, I barely know him, I'm not an accomplice of his, but the school has been on the lookout for a traitor, and I don't want to be blamed, but someone has to know, because if it's just us who knows, we could all get in trouble, and what if the commission finds out, and- "

"Nerd, shut up." Izuku stops talking, though everyone can tell he has much more to be said, though all of this is suspicious as it is, he can see it in Uraraka and the other's faces, all looking a bit angry and put out for being left out of the loop. He supposes since they are here already-

"Ok, what's going on? You guys can't keep us out of something that seems to be so important," Kaminari points out, Ashido and Uraraka nodding along. Izuku sighs. He looks at Kacchan, who just shrugs. Izuku looks back to the three students and his mom who are all out of the loop.

"All for One is my father."
