"Ugh, I'm so sick of all these idiot boys trying to act like they're the shit," Mimi scoffed as she scanned the quad.

"Tell me about it. They make you fall in love, only so they can leave you like this," Sora snapped her fingers.

"Well, you already knew what we had to say about that," Kari shrugged.

"I been searching, but I don't think it's out there. I want someone who I can talk with for hours, maybe walks in with flowers. Is that too much to ask for?" Mimi twirled her hair.

"I'm done with dirty Converse shoes. I just want a guy who's 6'2 with brown hair," Sora sighed.

"You don't say?" Mimi dryly exchanged glances with Kari.

"What?" Sora defensively said.

"Nothing, but wetoldyouso…," Kari muttered into her lunch tray.

"I'm sorry, but can you repeat that? I didn't hear you," Sora frowned.

"You know, I'm just gonna have to manifest my own dream boy, build my own Frankenstein of what I want in a boyfriend," Mimi flipped her notebook to a blank page. "I'll just draw in a couple of lines, color them in, and see what I come up with! Manifest it, ladies!"

"I'd definitely like to see what you come up with," Kari snorted.

"With standards that high, he probably doesn't exist," Sora had an amused look on her face.

"When I'm mad, I want someone to kiss me till I'm numb," Mimi scribbled some hearts around.

"It would be nice to have someone who didn't treat me so bad, maybe make me laugh for once," Sora smiled.

"Ooh, that's good! Here, why don't you join me?" Mimi ripped out a piece of paper and handed it to Sora.

"I want someone who doesn't get on my nerves," Kari said.

"Good luck with that," Sora and Mimi flatly said in unison.

"Hey, I thought we could build our dream guys! Isn't it just supposed to be fantasy?" Kari said.

"She's got a point," Sora nodded.

"Well, true. But we can't have it all…it would be nice to have someone that gets along with my dad though," Mimi said.

"Yeah, your dad's kinda strict," Sora tapped her pencil against the table.

"At least it's just fantasy, right?" Kari shrugged.

"Fine. If we're gonna continue this fantasy, I want him to be loyal, and maybe make me feel spoiled. There, my little daydream…and he'll never be a nightmare," Mimi kissed her paper. "Now time to color it in," she pulled out a box of pencils and grabbed a mahogany one.

"Hey guys," Izzy walked to the table.

"Hey Izzy, what's up?" Kari asked.

"Nothing, just wanted to say hi before I sit with the guys. Mimi, by the way…," Izzy shuffled through his satchel. "A girl in my class made these flower hair things for a fundraiser. I got it cause, you know…for a good cause but I thought you might like it."

"Oh, it's really pretty. Thank you," Mimi hugged him.

"No problem," Izzy turned red.

"And by the way, can you tell your dad that I'll be running late to work today and that I'm sorry? I sent him an email as soon as I found out, but my last class of the day wants us to stay an extra fifteen minutes for something," Izzy said.

"Sure thing. I don't think he'll mind. He likes you," Mimi smiled.

"Thanks! Again, I'm really sorry. I never do this, but-" Izzy rambled.

"Shh, you're fine," Mimi put her finger to his chest. "Now grab some lunch before they close the lunch line."

"Okay. Thank you," Izzy said and trodded off.

"Well, isn't that interesting," Kari tapped on the piece of paper.

"What?" Mimi said.

"Hmm, if I'm not mistaken…your dream guy looks a bit like our resident genius," Sora remarked.

"Huh, isn't that funny?" Mimi looked at the piece of paper and went back to eating her lunch.

"Hey air head, your dream guy's been in front of you this entire time. Why don't you take him for a test drive, see how it goes?" Sora raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah Meems, so what are you gonna do?" Kari flashed a devilish smile.

"Well I'll be damned," Mimi looked back and forth between her drawing and Izzy. "I'll be back girls."

"Okay," Sora and Kari smirked at each other.

"Hey Izzy," Mimi walked over to him.

"Hey. What's up?" Izzy looked at her with concern.

"I just realized that you're exactly what I'm looking for," Mimi pulled him close.

"Uh, I am? What do you mean? Like you want me to tutor you in something?" Izzy asked nervously.

"Depends, what kind of things can you show me? Like how you want to be kissed?" Mimi pulled his face closer to hers and pressed her lips against his.

"Like that. That's just fine…," Izzy said in shock.

"We were just drawing up the idea of what the perfect guy would be, and next thing I knew, you appeared. You were here the entire time," Mimi interlocked fingers with him.

"Uh, thanks? I don't know what to say…except that's great?" Izzy blushed.

"Really?" Mimi asked.

"I didn't think an amazing girl like you would like a dork like me…I'm still having a hard time processing this happened," Izzy touched his lips.

"It did. See?" Mimi pinched his forearm.

"I'm awake," Izzy chuckled. "I guess that means I can kiss you too."

"Yes it does," Mimi giggled as she leaned in for another kiss.

"Aww, isn't that so nice?" Sora sweetly said.

"Yeah, it's been overdue," Kari pulled out a nail file and started to scale down her pinky nail.

"You saw that coming?" Sora gasped.

"Yeah. Those guys talk a lot, you'd think they'd run out of things to say. And he always gets her little gifts here and there- he's never done that with the rest of us except for birthdays and holidays. Sucks cause he actually gives out nice gifts, not like Joe," Kari said.

"Joe's gifts are actually practical and useful though," Sora said.

"I'm a high school girl, not a sad college graduate who doesn't know how to live on their own," Kari shrugged.

"Hmm, you're such a kid," Sora huffed.

"And you're such a bimbo. Just go out with my brother already. Clearly, you like him, even if you're a horrible drawer," Kari tapped her nail file against Sora's drawing.

"You're such a brat sometimes," Sora crumpled up her piece of paper and placed it on her lunch tray.

"Like is it the older you get, the more oblivious you get too?" Kari ranted.

"I have to get ready for class. Bye," Sora grunted as she left the table.

"Bye," Kari waved and continued to file her nails.

"So I know I'll be late to work, but maybe after work, I could stop by to see you if it's not too late?" Izzy asked.

"I'd love that a lot," Mimi grinned.

"That sounds like a plan," Izzy wrapped his arms around Mimi's waist and leaned in close. "I'll see you later tonight then," he said as he kissed her.

"I can't wait," Mimi softly stroked his cheek, already picturing the many kisses, lip biting, hair rustling, hand movements, and clothes pulling that they would have to catch up later that night for all the time they missed out on before. But for now, they had to settle with public-appropriate kisses.
