I never created Superman TAS.
Worry materialized in Reverend Howell's eyes after Jonathan and Martha Kent scowled by a kitchen table. He bit his lip.
Amos began to glance at a window. He turned to them. One small smile formed. His shoulders went up.
''Perhaps Supergirl was defeated by a Smallville creature recently.''
Martha and Jonathan focused on Amos with wide eyes.
''She was gone for twenty minutes,'' Martha said.
''Please go outside and search for her,'' Jonathan said to Amos.
After Amos frowned and nodded, he stood. The door was opened for a few seconds. Amos closed it and wandered from the farm.
He remembered Supergirl usually battling hungry or territorial animals near trees. He went to the familiar area. His steps stopped before eyes widened.
Supergirl scowled and elbowed one creature's side. She looked back. Her eyes flew open.
Amos frowned.
''You're keeping our family waiting,'' Amos said.
''Twenty minutes.''
''It's supper!'' Amos snapped.
''I'm a bit busy,'' Supergirl said before she kicked the creature's leg.
Amos viewed Supergirl lifting the animal by its tail and swinging it above trees. He returned to the kitchen with her when the creature was released. Amos had no idea where the animal was going to land. He watched as Jonathan and Martha glowered.
Supergirl and Amos viewed empty plates near the Kents. They turned to one another with wide eyes.
