Note: This is just meant to a fun comedy based fanfic. Don't take this incredibly seriously please.

A dark blue void. This has been my personal hell for lord knows how long. I've been here for as long as I can remember.

My name is Player, and I have been in the void that is the nexus of many worlds, this void is what I've come to call Steam.

I looked down at my outfit, I was wearing what I always have to work. A black sweater with a single neon red stripe in the middle and on my arms, but also with a white X in the center of the stripe on my front. I also wore red pants and black shoes with red soles and laces as well as white X shapes at the ends.

My pale grey skin seemed to give me an almost ghostly appearance, not helped by my dark black sclera and white X shaped eyes. My bright red hair went down to my lower neck but was a bit messy. Lastly I had on a dark black wireless gaming headset with red glowing X's on the side, with the addition of a silver white X shaped locket around my neck. What can I say? I just like the letter X.

It was a form outfit I took after my events with two similar but interesting worlds. Using some data from the world to give me a form I was more comfortable with, though not perfect.

While I can view other worlds and take control of the main hero as a puppeteer to help them in their journey, whether they know I'm there or not, I can't do much to interact with the worlds outside of that. These worlds I have come to call games based on what one masked merchant called them.

Though few of these games have let me interact beyond my normal means and seem to actively mess with me, some even have entities outright talking to me whether they can see me or not. Two of these games are the ones I keep coming back to, OFF and Undertale.

These games are unique in more ways than one. They both seem to actively acknowledge my existence and some even outright talk to me. Though there is another one who goes beyond it, where one of these entities tried to date you instead of your puppet. After that, you have no intention of going back to that game to see HER again.

However, even with all the interactions and friends I can make….

... I always feel so empty and alone when I reach the end of the story.

So today I finally made up my mind on how I'm gonna fix this. I'm gonna bring those I wish to meet and truly become friends with and decided to actually enter the games from now on. I'm done sitting on the sidelines, I wanna see this entire multiverse and I want to do it my way, with friends of the two games.

Granted two, maybe three of these were gonna be rather difficult to befriend, though at least one has an undying and unquestionable faith in me, and the other…. I admittedly have a small crush on but their physical child-like appearance is what's holding it back because I don't wanna find out if Chris H̶a̶n̶d̶s̶o̶m̶e̶ Hansen will travel across time and space just to make me take a seat right over there.

However I can solve such an issue with some of my power to make them around my age, perhaps their friends as well.

As I ripped into the two games I pulled 5 characters total from them, 2 from OFF and 3 from Undertale

As one of the figures from the former of the two games got up first. He was a pale white figure wearing a black and white baseball outfit with a metal baseball bat next to him. His eyes remained closed and covered by the shadow of his baseball cap but he could still see clear as day. This was The Batter, the puppet I controlled in OFF.

"Where am I?" He asked with only mere confusion but his voice full of monotone.

However he then laid eyes on me and immediately registered in mind that I was possibly impure as he rushed at me, bat in hand. I jumped back in surprise and fell on my back. Clearly my ghostly appearance seemed to cause him to assume I was an adversary .

"Purification in progress…." He said. Getting into a fighting stance a 3 white rings appeared around him, his Add-Ons known as Alpha, Omega, and Epsilon.

He then awaited commands to come from his puppeteer, but they never came, nor did they set him to Auto. His stoic face then began to sweat as he looked around for any signs of his puppeteer, unaware that they were right in front of him.

Meanwhile I then put two hands up and shouted, "Batter! It's me, your Player! Chill, chill!"

He then stopped and lowered his stance, confusion filled his face before looking at me closely as he then said, "Prove it."

I then wracked my brain before remembering something and said, "When you and I were reading that comic book about Boxxer, you stopped reading it because you thought it was so stupid you refused to read any further, likely over the main villian known as the Ballman. Likely due to his baseball themed appearance."

The Batter blinked, the only person who should know about that would be….

"Player?" He asked, dropping his bat down to his side before pulling his hat down, "Forgive me for my rash actions I didn't seem to recognize you."

I then wave it off (ha), "It's no big deal, knowing you I should have expected that reaction."

The other figures got up by this point, with a certain merchant wearing a toad mask looking towards me and chuckled, "Ah brunos dias Player."

I then nodded, "It's going good Zacharie, I shouldn't be surprised you recognized me at least."

Meanwhile three young child-like figures got up, two were human and the other was a goat monster. Frisk, Chara, and Asriel.

I then held up a hand as I looked at the two OFF characters while saying, mostly towards the Batter, "Before you do anything rash, let me say that I'm not gonna let you 'purify' any of these three. Are we clearly Batter?"

Batter looked at them with a glare before calming down and nodding, "I trust your judgement."

With a sigh of relief I then looked at the three who were staring up at me, "Um…. Have we met?" The goat boy. Asriel said before noticing Chara and Frisk, "Ch-Chara!?"

"Asriel!?" Chara shouted a bit surprised before the goat monster hugged their adoptive sibling tightly as the two started crying, Frisk looked happy for the two, given all they've gone through.

I then smiled at this as Frisk then looked at me curiously and I asked, "I assume you're curious about my identity?"

Chara and Asriel break their hug and Chara then looks at me and says, "Hey aren't you that Player guy who took control of Frisk? I recognize that stupid looking face anywhere. Though I don't know why you look like me and Frisk… weirder."

The Batter then asked, "You've puppeteered other beings Player?"

I then nodded and explained to both parties, "I have indeed, from this void I am able to view other worlds, which I've come to call games, and usually only interact through controlling the marionette the game assigns to me. For example Batter in your game and Frisk in theirs. In these games, some may be aware of my existence and possibly interact with me in some way, but your games outright notice me."

The five around me seemed to accept this information before Chara asked, "So wait. Why are we here? What do you mean by usually taking control of a marionette?"

I sighed and explained, "While I can interact and explore the game's through this void, a nexus point I've called Steam, I admit that as a viewer who is merely controlling a being's actions, but even so. It doesn't help that I'm all alone in this void, for lord knows how long."

Holding up one hand, it glows brightly with a red-ish orange glow, in response my white eyes turned red-ish orange with it, "However I have recently discovered a new ability that let's me actually enter these games and replace the main entity outright, it's actually how I was able to pull you all from your games, just needed to copy over your data to prevent the game's from breaking and poof, here you all are. All without breaking your original games. I choose you five specifically because you were either my personal favorites from those games," I continued to explain.

After gesturing to my body I finished with, "As for why I look like this. I was mostly inspired by your games and wanted an appearance I was more comfortable with using."

I then remembered something and said, "Oh, I almost forgot. I was supposed to do this a bit ago."

Suddenly I hold out my hand and wave it past the 3 Undertale characters, growing them a bit to a more proper age of 19, they were about my height now, as they looked confused.

"I wanted to make you all more… proper age. Since Asriel and Chara died as children and never had the chance to grow up, I figured they would appreciate these bodies for a more…. proper age. I included Frisk as I had a feeling they would appreciate not being the only child here."

Frisk nodded in confirmation at this with a thumbs up.

Asriel then nodded as Chara and Frisk then looked down at their chests as I raised an eyebrow, "Something wrong?"

Chara then asked with some embarrassment, "Why are they so small?"

I immediately felt my face turn red as Zacharie, who I almost forgot was there, chuckled at my situation while Batter remained confused for a different reason.

"Nothing… it's just…" Chara didn't really know how to say it.

I then thought for a moment and realized what she was trying to ask as I explained, "Well it's hard to gauge you and Frisk's gender, since you've always appeared as gender-neutral characters I went with a more uni-sex form, I had a guess you were female but had no confirmation." I was admittedly getting tired of explaining things but understood I had to.

I then used the power again, this time only Frisk and Chara and they're chests and butts to noticeably grow a bit bigger, not incredibly big, but noticeable. Their hair also grew a bit as Chara's dropped down to her lower back while Frisk grew to the upper half.

This change caused Asriel to blush a bit like me at this and I couldn't help but notice he was staring at Frisk as I chuckled, even if I was staring at Chara.

Zacharie meanwhile then looked at The Batter and, somehow through his mask, wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, The Batter ignored this.

I then asked, "So… how bout it guys… and gals I guess?"

Chara and Asriel looked at each other, the former saying, "Beats being dead or a flower right Az?"

The prince nodded, "Yeah, I guess that's true."

Frisk then said out of nowhere, "I'm in." I then jumped a bit, surprised they could talk since they've always been quiet. I just assumed they were mute. I can tell Asriel and Chara thought the same.

I lastly turned to The Batter and Zacharie and without hesitation The Batter answered, "I will always be there for you Player."

Zacharie then added, "And I'll do the same, though normally for a price. It beats being stuck in a video game, exploring others might be worthwhile." He chuckled to himself after that.

I then looked at all of them and nodded, "Alright, I suppose introductions for all of you are in order, you all know me now so I suppose you might as well get to know each other."

The Batter stepped up first, "I am The Batter, I was puppeteered by Player as he helped me purify the 3 Zones and purge all that was impure from it."

Zacharie then went next, "Hola amigos, I'm Zacharie, our game's merchant. I merely provide Batter with my wares in exchange for credits."

Frisk took their turn, "Frisk, I am the eight fallen humans into the world of the Underground. I have saved the entire underground though apparently through Player's guidance, even if he also reset and wiped out the entire underground." That last part made me look sheepish as I gave a nervous chuckle.

Chara then added, "For clarification I am Chara, and was the first of the fallen humans. And I acted as the guide of Frisk who merely explained things to them and died long before that alongside Asriel."

Speaking off which it was Asriel turn to continue, "Which is who I am. I am Asriel Dreemurr, prince of the monsters who died alongside Chara trying to save our people and break the barrier and I became a murderous soulless flower living from nothing but sheer determination alone. Long story."

"Alright, now that's all in order. Do you all wanna see what this Multiverse has to offer us?" I asked as I opened a few game windows showing many of the worlds I've seen to prove my point.

With curiosity piqued I then created a large window and asked, "So my new companions, where do you wanna go first?"

This was going to be OUR New Game Plus for everyone, a game we were going to be free to see what these worlds truly had to offer.
