"hey Sarah do you really think it's ok for Jennie to watch anime, I mean it's generally not age appropriate" asks Mitchie concerned
"trust me I understand that, she wants to be an artist, she's purely interested in the art style, for one the audio is muted and for another she has headphones on and is listening to music, she's a rock music girl and I can't understand it, I'm pop and hip-hop all the way" says Sarah
"oh ok that makes sense I guess, the decriminalization bill just became law, Tess hasn't been upfront about whether she wants to get married or not" says Mitchie
"what are your plans for the wedding, big or small" asks Sarah
"I was hoping for a big one why" asks Mitchie
"that's your problem, Tess wants to make her own dress for the wedding, she wants a small private wedding where she can barr her parents from attending because she said they planned to make a massive fuss about ruining the family name and such" says Sarah
"it's crazy that she went from idolizing her mom to hating her and her dad, I don't see that much in anyone here, even Lucy and Isabelle still hold what their parents taught then close to their heart" says Mitchie
"the difference is in the approach Mitchie, you can be a God awful parent and still have life lessons to teach, Teslin's specific situation follows the line of keep your friends close and your enemies closer, miss T. J Tyler is coming around to the idea that Tess isn't an exclusive lover while her father is berating her to the company she used to work for, I have a little birdy telling me Miss T.J will divorce and sue Mr. Tyler" says Sarah

"in life she called herself granny spitfire as in the world war two plane, says she served in the war and is very angry at what her son is doing" says Sarah
"ahh granny Grace Tyler, she hasn't been gone that long, a year maybe two, loved Tessie to bits" says Mitchie as Tess walks over
"what about granny grace, what's going on" asks Tess
"I'm assuming Josie is having a nap" asks Caitlyn
"yes and very cranky, ever since she finished her homework she's been very cranky" says Tess
"it's her time of the month Tesslin, puberty hit her later than you'd expect, and it's hitting her hard, this is only her second month, granny spitfire is trying to get a message to you about your parents and she tried Josie first, Josie said it was like she was on fire" says Sarah
"I hope Granny grace is ok with me raising a daughter, Josie really likes her mommies, she loves it here" says Tess
"oh believe me she loves her little sugar muffin" says Sarah
"is she doing anything to make my dad pay for what he's doing to me, I'm trying to make Cat's clothing line go national and every company that could help us produce them has turned us down because of how he talks about me" asks Tess accidentally letting her British accent slip
"now if only that was intentional Tess" jokes Mitchie
"I think British Tessie is adorable" says Caitlyn in a convincing British accent
"jokes aside yes Tess granny spitfire is doing loads to make him go insane, she's messing with his most cherished pictures of you, only he sees the altered pictures, she makes it so either you fade away slowly or you're replaced with an urn" says Sarah
"ok I get he's being evil but that's just cruel" says Tess
"I mean last week he told his co-worker he wished he'd killed you so really she's just showing him how that would look, as far as she's concerned, he wants to remove you from his life therefore he shall have no keepsake memory of you, I should note she's not altering the physical pictures, just how he perceives them, she mentioned that he was raised to love unconditionally and how he's acting is a million times worse than anything you ever did Tesslin" says Sarah distractedly
"is there anything else she wants to communicate" asks Tess noticing Sarah is distracted
"huh…. oh right yes, apparently your mom is not as straight as you think….. does anyone know where Shane went, I haven't seen him all morning" says Sarah
"he said something about picking up meds and a dress or something for Jennie" says Mitchie as Sarah blushes
"you really love him huh" asks Caitlyn
"I love all my bunnies equally, but Shane is really trying to step up and be as close to a father as he can for Jennie and he may not see it but we all love him for that, I even caught Jennie calling Shane daddy the other day and trust me she is generally afraid of guys, she shares a room with Dani and Samantha and I can't count how many times I've heard her ask them 'so you two love each other', she is genuinely very oblivious to it" says Sarah
"wait I thought you explained what love was to her" asks Tess
"she's hella smart for someone her age, maybe even Mensa smart but she's never really grasped the emotions thing, when I first left exclusivity with CeeCee I tried to explain love to her and she looked upset, refused to accept love as anything more than just a word, she even said 'NO, you with mommies and daddy, they name not love, no lie to me mommy', she often leave me speechless" says Sarah
"wait but she clearly has her own feelings, does she not believe they're real" asks Tess
"she's of the idea that she is God's cutesy message bottle and when God is ready for her to feel those words he will tell her" says Sarah
"if she's a message bottle then what is the gift she was graced with" asks Mitchie
"the gift of past years, some of the things she's brought up were written about in the Bible, she's an extremely old soul, we were not raised religious, we've never been to church, we don't even have a bible" says Andrea as she walks over
"then how could she possibly quote the bible" asks Caitlyn
"oh that's easy, she was there, she was a friend, one of the things she recounts in Hebrew no less is how soft his hair was, she's lived about a thousand lives, now don't get me wrong she doesn't like talking about her past lives nor is anything she says verifiable however I can't deny the detail in which she speaks of said past lives, which means she has definitely experienced many lives but like I said the accuracy is in question" says Andrea
"so you don't believe her" asks Caitlyn confused
"no Sarah and I do but the world won't, I told a historian friend about the things Jennie had been saying and while he was taken aback by the accuracy he said if this is true you need to hide her from the world, that the world would kill her if they knew, akin to the Salem witch trials, our grandmother could move things with her mind, our mom could persuade people much like Sarah did to get my pumpkin boo a week off to spend with me, Jennie has an insane connection to the heavens, even more than Sarah does" says Andrea
"wait so the movies with the people with laser swords and mind tricks, those abilities are real" asks Tess
"more or less, the difference is in reality it's both physically and mentally draining to exert that much influence, the strong willed are immune to it for the most part, the only way to get a strong willed person to bend to your will is to find the small crack in their confidence that all humans have, JoJo's boss for instance is trans but won't get the surgery or meds to make them on the outside who they know they are on the inside because of the massive stigma attached to trans girl to boy people and vice versa, instead of cracking the confidence I boosted it, being able to manipulate emotions and moods is a rare thing with the persuasion gift" says Sarah as she gets depressed
"you didn't just get depressed to get hugs did you" asks Tess
"the one side effect of being able to manipulate others feelings and emotions to help them and get to the goal is that Sarah absorbs the negative feelings of those she helps, depression is a constant for Sarah, it doesn't help that Shane promised to sexy it up with her today or that Sarah has the system identity disorder thing, despite being a doctor I can never remember the exact name for it" says Andrea
"dissociative identity disorder sis, that's what I have, the gift of God and seven personalities stuck in my head, oh Tess I know you wanted a drink tonight but you seriously need to stay with Josie tonight" says Sarah
"why does it seem that lately her body function has gone downhill" asks Tess
"probably because the late loved ones of this community are trying to get messages to their living family and it's too much for her and she doesn't feel like she has the right to tell them no, I've already told them nobody would believe the messages are real and Jennie had threatened them in latin to burn their houses down if they didn't leave her alone, Josie is purposely sabotaging her body, she's going to have a really bad seizure and you of all people need to be there" says Sarah as Tess runs to Josie
"can't Josie just ask for the gift to be taken away" asks Mitchie
"she totally could, but she likes being different, the problem is the spirits get all excited that they have another messenger and they flock to them, most since passed family members forget the earthly limits of human bodies, especially Josie's" says Sarah still depressed as Shane walks in with four bags
"I don't understand" says Mitchie
"Gabriella visits her often, while the messages are often apologetic in nature, it's very traumatic for Josie, it was so bad the cops had a file on her that labeled her a threat, I explained her particular situation to a cop who believes in these things and he had the file on Josie taken down, from what I could glean she was often seen arguing with someone who wasn't there and ignorant people being ignorant called the cops on her time and time again" says Shane as he drops the bags and hugs Sarah
"what did you tell them exactly" asks Andrea nervously
"just that she has one of God's great gifts and then I explained the apartment fire situation, the cops hadn't even realized Josie was the apartment fire kidnap and rape victim that had been left for dead" says Shane
"I don't get it, it's quite easy to link Josie to that event" says Mitchie confused
"Josie isn't her actual name, it's the name she is legally referred to as but she was born Joselyn Quinn Browne, she was only a Browne because that's what aunt Hannah wanted, some sort of old tradition where you give your second daughter your maiden name, aunt Tatiana was barren, my mom only had three kids because she wanted a daughter and aunt Hannah could only have two kids, Uncle Browne was too focused on Camp Rock to have a relationship" says Shane
"Shaney what does your mom think about Trina, CeeCee and I dating you, she doesn't hate it does she" asks Sarah
"she was taken aback yes but you specifically gave her what she's always wanted, a daughter, or in this case a grand daughter, she's coming over for Christmas to meet everyone here, and no she doesn't know about Josie being alive or that Tess adopted her, she is under the assumption that Tess is pregnant and that's why she's buying all these clothes and stuff, Nate and Dana are coming over for Josie's birthday" says Shane
"Why hide Josie from her" pouts Sarah
"because I want it to be a surprise, I told her she is a secret Santa for a vulnerable pre-teen, I gave her several gift ideas….. you barely ever pout, please tell me Josie is ok, you warned me about a seizure and I asked the pharmacist about it and she prepared meds, that's one of the reasons it took me so long" says Shane concerned
"she made it out of this one but she will have more, she will need those meds" says Sarah
