9 am Christmas morning
"what happened to the tree and why is there this massive box where the tree should be" asks Cat upset
"yeah….. we're leaving that surprise for last" says Jade
"nuh uh, I spent DAYS working on that tree Jadelyn, either you tell me what happeth to thath tree or I shave your head, I'm behind on dress orders because I worked on that tree" cries Cat as little Erica and her father walk over
"you be happy pweasey" says Erica
"b-but the delays, Tori told me you had truck troubles" asks Cat
"maybe I did, maybe I had to pick up Erica's uncle Robert" says Jason Thera
"since when is Robbie known as Robert, last I heard he moved to the glove" says Cat
"indeed he did, he lives close enough to the border that they made us cross into Canada and go through customs, apparently its pretty common for people to smuggle girls and/or drugs in and out of Canada through Detroit, ironically it saved us like four days travel and about three hundred dollars in gas and about fifty dollars in tolls" says Jason
"that's great but that doesn't answer what happened to the tree" says Cat upset as Robbie stands up
"we got here at four in the morning, we'd been here a few days but Erica wanted to play in the snow, she got us all up at three this morning to get here for four, when we got here Erica saw the tree and kinda stumbled over to it and tripped on the presents and accidentally tipped the tree, Mitchie and i tried to fix it but had determined that you'd notice something was off anyway so we moved it to the spare room" says Robbie
"why do I feel like you came here for me, why am I feeling bi panic" says Cat
"while it is true I used to have feelings for you, I'd kinda spent the last year of Andre's life as his boyfriend, to be quite honest I kinda liked it" says Robbie
"wait Andre died, damn knew I shoulda answered that email" exclaims Cat
"he figured you'd be too busy to reply Cat, Andre and I were special, our relationship didn't rise out of thin air yet we couldn't identify the moment we fell for one another, the reason I'm here is because Jade really needs to deal with Beck, he's determined to get back together with her, plus he hates Cat so it's not like he'll actually show up, he's gotten really rather annoying" says Robbie
"please tell me you're not going back to Detroit, also Beck never listened to me, when he broke up with me I broke his arms in several places and fractured his femurs, he got a restraining order on me that is set to last for at least five years, it's still in place and if he even comes within a mile of me he'd be in violation of his own restraining order, besides he'd be too afraid to confront me" says Jade
"he seems really convinced of this fact though" says Robbie
"trust me, after he got the restraining order he went over and cut a few inches of my hair without my consent, literally right in front of the judge, he spent about a month in prison Robbie, he has no idea where I am right now, other than a little news of romance here and there with Cat, Cally and Tori I'm not in the news period, he has private investigators but my dad keeps paying them off, explains the restraining order Beck has in place and gives them a grand and fake information about where I am, why do you think he went to Detroit" says Jade
"wait is your dad basically telling Beck you live in Canada now" asks Robbie as people open presents
"basically yes, after the hair cutting thing my dad got a restraining order for me on beck so if Beck so much as touches me I can call the cops and they can charge him with assault" says Jade
"but everyone was scared of you back in LA, you seem different now, it's kinda relaxing actually, knowing this is a safe space" says Tatiana
"I was only mean and aggressive because I didn't like how I looked, I didn't like how much of a pull girls had on me, I tried so dang hard to be normal and it turned me into that scary person, just like how you did what you did out of fear of your dad, I did what I did to hide how vulnerable I actually am" says Jade
"you know they did care about me, I know it was wrong what I did, I did like how it felt in the moment but the moment it was over I had to play cover, the whole 'I don't love you' thing wasn't supposed to make the guys feel bad, it was a calling card, I was hoping one of them would take me out of the situation, away from my parents, I'd mentioned every time how my dad was a creep, I guess nobody believed me" says Tatiana crying as she sees the most beautiful dress in her gift bag
"well there goes my future" says Tori as she goes to cry in a corner
"what's up with her today" asks Tess
"she must have known that Andre was gay, she'd been talking with him about being a donor for us maybe just her I don't fully know, they'd been setting up a day for the tests and stuff but he hasn't responded in a few weeks, she's not going to take this well, it's going to take a serious toll on her" says Cat
"why Andre of all people" asks Robbie
"because that's her thing, he's musically inclined, funny and smart, I'll admit he was one of the best I'd ever had in bed, he really did care, if anyone was going to invade my heart it'd have been him, the same goes for her, she'd told me if it were going to be any guy donating she wanted it to be Andre" says Tatiana
"if that's the case then she most likely won't participate in any of today's activities" says Jade
"why, I can take his place, he was nervous about donating to a big star and how that would affect him being able to get a job, I convinced him that she wouldn't have chosen him if she didn't know about possible backlash or fallout or how it could affect his hire-ability" says Robbie
"because she offered to move him here if he wanted to co-parent, she will probably replace him with you Robbie, especially because you're here, however Andre really was her choice, she knows all too well how society treats minorities, plus he was her only guy crush, she tasked her lawyer with finding out if it was legal for him to donate his stuff and live with us full time while not making it a relationship thing, she didn't want to make people assume things or that he lied about being gay" says Jade
"ok I'm going to open my big box, spend time with Erica on the big Sim then tonight Robbie, you and me are going to have some pirate fun" giggles Cat as she opens her present
"what about Jade, Tori or Cally, it wouldn't feel right" asks Robbie
"Tori needs time to grieve, I like to watch, especially letting a guy into the mix, I like to calculate how careful they are, Beck was a negative fifty, Cat and Cally can last for a bit but unlike Cat, with Cally you need to be gentle, not just the first time but always, every single time" says Jade handing Robbie a present
"she doesn't seem the type to be rough but why" says Robbie
"she's part of a new hearing implant test group and the product right now has problems staying connected when quick head movements are involved, Cally is a major tease though so please tread carefully, what does pirate fun mean anyway, she's never used the term around us before" says Jade
"well normally it meant she would wear a bare back dress and I'd wear pirate stuff, you know the eye patch and the wooden leg and stuff, I tended to always request a make out at the end which is why she stopped playing pirates with me, I got so focused on the pirate reality we create every time that I forget she didn't like guys or kiss them at least" says Robbie
"well I hope you understand she's not looking for a one night and done thing, like Tori she was hoping Andre would agree to donate but that didn't stop her from scouting other options if Andre decided to say no, unlike Tori she doesn't want doctors involved in making a baby, she wants it done the right way, you coming back into her life, for her it's a sign, she sees great importance in the fact that you didn't come here for her, that you came here to deliver a message, that it shows how much you've grown up" says Jade
"when did she start liking boys" asks Robbie as Erica giggles as Cat tickles her
"oh she's always been interested in boys, she just never saw past the nearly daily news of abuse from men, she wasn't sure which ones were the good ones and which ones were the bad ones, the near rape of Cally on school ground didn't exactly help that view, Shane has really helped her see that not all guys are bad, she has a whole issue with grappling with the idea that guys can be nice, you have to understand it's not easy for her to trust people" says Jade
"have you ever said the wrong thing and made her angry or upset" asks Robbie
"oh all the time, her mind is a maze, too often I believe she understands when I say the wrong thing that I didn't mean it, I get lost in the fact that we make love and that she trusts me fully, she has a hard time with trust as it turns out, respect on the other hand is of utmost importance to her, word of warning she won't stop you from going all the way the moment she's naked with you, however it would just mean you don't get a shot to try and fix it, the important thing is restraint, if you can win her over before you take that step you will have a chance to show Cally, Tori and I just how much you are willing to sacrifice to make sure we are safe it will go a long way to gaining our whole hearted trust" says Jade
"how am I supposed to do that, Andre and I weren't like that together, he'd been targeted as a black terrorist many times, granted he was proven innocent every time but he was scared he would be dead long before he knew what a loving relationship was all about, we never had sex, we were the sappy type couple, you know, cute outfits, romantic movies, cute nicknames, that kind of thing, my being cute with girls ended when I came to realize Cat got scared about the whole make out after pirates thing, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do" asks Robbie
"ok one thing about Cat, when in a romantic or sexual situation her brain kinda does a flip, it overdrives her emotions so she doesn't have a lot of time to think about wording, she'll be more worried how far it will take her this time than what words she uses, listen to the tone of her voice rather than the words themselves, if it has a playful undertone take a step forward, if it sounds like she's getting scared either step back or pause any forward play and stay in that mode till it changes" says Jade
"what was your first time with her like" asks Robbie
"my mode of attack was tracing her body but staying a reasonable distance from sensitive areas, she was the one in control, she moved to kiss me, she grabbed my hand and put it between her legs, she made those choices, I was willing but it made me feel better that she chose to do those things, I'm not supposed to give you a leg up with her but I'll just say follow her lead" says Jade
A/N: well well this fic had a bit of everything, cliffhanger ending sure but I had to end it somewhere
