Hey everyone! It's been a while since I wrote something new. I recently discovered Raura FF and fell in love with them so I wanted to write my own. It's a BTR/A&A Xover! Also, this is for BTR getting their reunion in December. I also wanted to give y'all something to let you all know that I'm still here, alive and healthy. This story might get more chapters. Highly recommend listening to the song.

"You ready for this?" Erin Sanders, aka Camille Roberts on the Nickelodeon show Big Time Rush, turned her brown curls to face another teenage girl with brown curls. It was Laura Marano, aka Ally Dawson on the Disney Channel show Austin & Ally. The former closed her eyes and took a deep breath, feeling the charm on her necklace for good luck. When she opened them back up, she realized that yes, she was finally ready.
"Yes." Camille replied while nodding her head. They were next on the set, anyway, so there wasn't really any time to back out. Both girls had planned to do this for weeks.
Okay. Let's back up here. Erin plays the love interest of Logan Mitchell, aka Logan Henderson, and Laura plays the love interest of Austin Moon, aka Ross Lynch. Though they play their love interests, they never really expected to actually fall in love with their co-star.
Logan, along with Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, and Carlos Pena, form Big Time Rush, the singing group that the show was named with. Big Time Rush was named for Big Time Rush. Erin's character, Camille, is the method actress of the show and instantly falls in love with Logan. They have an on-again, off-again relationship throughout the series. They are currently off-again. She is hoping they become on-again soon.
Ross is one of the 5 members of R5, a band of 4 siblings and a family friend. Ross is the youngest in the group. Ross and Laura's characters' relationship is pretty typical for Disney Channel. They start off as music partners, she's the shy songwriter and he's the loud singer. As they start to spend more time together, they become best friends. Then they start to feel weird feelings about each other. Some misunderstandings, she starts to like someone else, he goes and finds himself a girlfriend. A lot happens before they finally admit their feelings and become a couple. Then they break up...but they still have feelings for each other. She is rooting for them to get back together.
Back to the present time, the two girls somehow met through an odd relationship with Laura's sister, Vanessa. They struck up a friendship and somehow bonded over crushing on their co-star, though neither of them remember how they got on that subject. They complained and cooed to each other about their crush, both doubting their co-star felt the same way.
They are currently at a karaoke cafe, where everyone and anyone is free to sing karaoke. Laura had been to the cafe quite a number of times, from her love of music which grew from the show, so she dragged Erin there every so often. Together, the two brunettes enjoyed their food while listening to some really awesome karaoke….and some not so awesome karaoke.
The person who was singing, quite terribly one might add, had finished their song (thank goodness!) but the audience shared their support by applauding appropriately. The host/announcer stated that they deserved another round of applause for their courage and effort to sing in front of an audience, in which the audience delivered and clapped one more time for the rather horrible singer.
They then announced the duo of girls and, recognizing Laura's name from past performances, the crowd went wild. They had given the DJ the number code that corresponded to their song ahead of time so both girls went up to the stage, where 2 microphones and their stands took center stage.
The number code of the song? 08252017 (in case you were wondering, the number corresponds to October 25, 2017 - the date in which "Sad Girls Club", the album that "Boy in a Band" is part of, is released).
The opening notes were heard through the cafe's speakers. They had picked a song that basically summed up their life. A male voice was heard in the intro.
"Hey, have you heard of my band?
We're called the Highlight Years"
Erin opened her mouth to sing the first verse.

Now I get why they said to me
Laura joined in to sing the chorus.

Erin stepped back, allowing Laura to take the second verse.

Erin joined Laura with the chorus.

Erin started the post-chorus while Laura echoed her friend.

Erin sang the next part.

Laura sang this next verse, remembering the episode where Ross' character got a spray tan because he thought Laura's character was talking about him in her songbook.
He looks so good

A female voice was heard at the end.
"He's in a band?
Hahahahaha."
Just as expected, the crowd cheered for the two singers so loudly, a few teens who were passing by the cafe had stopped to see what the commotion was about. One teen starred in the Spy Kids films. The second teen would be her husband in a few years. The third teen would be one half of Heffron Drive.
"What's going on in there?" one of them asked. The other two shrugged their shoulders and decided to check it out. They couldn't believe what they saw.
Uh oh. This ought to be interesting...
