A/N: The end is finally here! Thank you to everyone who stuck with me through the ups and downs of this book. Sorry that this is coming out so late; either FF is messing with me or the update date just won't roll over to today, and I'm not satisfied with the final chapter date being the 29th.

-Besupin City Central Hospital-

The steady beeping of the machines in the room was quiet compared to the clamor at Aizawa's bedside.

"And I brought you this!" Eri was saying, pulling out her favorite stuffed kitty. "Since Kuro-chan makes me feel better whenever I'm sick, I thought he would make you feel better so that you can come home faster!"

"Thank you," Aizawa replied, accepting the stuffed animal with a soft look in his eyes. "Are you sure you won't get lonely without him?"

"Nope!" The seven-year-old rose her chin confidently. "I'm a big girl! You need Kuro-chan more than me, Papa! Besides, I have other stuffed animals!"

The teacher nodded and tucked the kitty into bed, trying not to fawn over how cute his foster daughter was.

"She was really worried, so it's good that we were able to visit so soon!" Mirio reported cheerfully.

"Was she alright while I was gone?" He questioned. "I recognize that I was... absent for quite a while."

At this, Mirio's smile faltered for a moment, but all too soon it was back up. "She was perfectly-behaved, sir! No complaints from any of the staff!"

"That's good." He smiled slightly, relieved. Then he turned to the little girl. "I heard from Mrs. Midoriya that Deku should be visiting soon."

Her crimson eyes sparkled, and she began hopping up and down. "Really? I get to see Deku?"

"Since you were so well-behaved, I asked him to take you out for lunch at a local cat cafe," he responded. "He said that he's got some friends he'd like you to meet."

"Wow! I'm so happy!" She cheered, looking up at Mirio with a bright smile. "Will you go with me to see the kitties, Mirio-nii?"

"Of course, kiddo!" He laughed. "I missed Deku just as much as you. It's boring without him around!"

"Have you been to see him lately?" Aizawa questioned.

"Not yet, but Nejire, Amajiki, and I have been thinking about it."

A knock at the door interrupted them, and when Midoriya Inko poked her head in apologetically, Aizawa looked up at her in surprise.

"Sorry for intruding," she explained sheepishly, waving a card. "I come bearing gifts from a certain group of concerned children."

On cue, Shinsou, Shouto, and Izuku peeked into the room from her side one by one. To Aizawa's amusement, it reminded him of a family of gophers.

"Deku!" Eri exclaimed, running over to him and hugging his middle.

"Eri, I didn't expect to see you today!" He replied happily, petting her hair. "You've gotten so big since I last saw you. You must be at least ten by now, right?"

"No silly, I'm seven!" She giggled as he picked her up.

The group walked in, and when Inko pulled out a sack and handed it to the injured hero, she flashed the card with a smile.

"Congratulations on becoming a father again," she teased as she handed it to him.

He stared at the cover in confusion. Congrats! it read, along with a picture of a blue rattle and a smiling teddy bear.

He looked up. "But... I'm not...?"

"Read it," she replied.

Opening the card, he was treated to a mess of writing from several different pens, along with handwriting he'd seen far too many times to mistake.

Thanks for being such an awesome teacher, Mr. Aizawa!

You're the coolest teacher I've ever had!

Thank you for helping me with my dyslexia during lessons!

The more lines he read, the wider his smile became. The softer the look in his eyes got as he scanned the card.

Then he came to green, red, and purple ink, respectively.

I'm sorry for being such a trouble magnet, Mr. Aizawa. Thank you for being patient regardless of how many times I need to visit Recovery Girl! d=(´▽`)=b

Thank you for rushing to protect us. You're a very admirable person and I'm honored to have been taught by you.

Thank you for being such a good mentor. You're the first teacher I've ever had who didn't make fun of me or tell me to quit trying to be a hero because of my Quirk.

Looking up at the three boys, Midoriya was letting Eri play with his hair, Shouto was looking away with an embarrassed blush, and Shinsou was playing with the bottom hem of his tee-shirt.

"You kids are gonna kill me someday, you know that?" He groaned, setting the card down and opening his arms with a fond, annoyed look. "C'mere, this is your one chance."

Inko and Mirio smiled as the four crowded the bed, each one hugging the teacher. Eri snuggled into his lap as the boys formed a shell around her.

After a moment, Shouto asked quietly, "Does this mean I have two fathers now?"

Startled, Izuku started laughing incredulously, causing a chain reaction. Inko joined, followed by Mirio, then Eri, and even Shinsou was chuckling.

"Midoriya, this is serious. I need to know. This is important for the future of my family."

"What, like being the 'hand-crusher'?"

"You never know if I still have the ability to crush other people's hands, Midoriya. One must be cautious." The serious, solemn look on Todoroki's face intensified.

"Todoroki, no!" He cried, laughing so hard he had to double over.

Aizawa turned to the older woman. "Are you sure I'm qualified to be a father of twenty-one troublesome children? It's only been three minutes and I'm already exhausted. At least Eri is well-behaved for her age."

Inko gave a good-natured chuckle and a shrug. "I wouldn't know; I've only just recently become a mother of six and co-parent of one, apparently."

So many things had gone down in the days following All For One's video messages to the entire country, both good and bad.

Immediately after the videos ended, paramedics and other pro heroes (along with the local ones) stopped by Besupin Academy to take stock of the villains there, as well as bringing the injured and wounded to the hospital.

Aizawa, Shinsou, Endeavor, and Todoroki were among the first to be rushed in, the teachers for their sustained injuries and the teenagers for how shaken up they got during the experience. Shinsou, especially, had to be checked over for any injuries from the fallen beam.

As with all battles, there were casualties. None of the students or staff had died, thankfully, but some villains ended up passing away from their wounds long before they could even be treated. One or two in particular had died immediately on the scene, both having mysteriously lost parts of their pulmonary arteries, leading to internal bleeding and, obviously, death in minutes.

While Aizawa only sustained minor head injuries, Endeavor was not so lucky. The entirety of his back had to be treated immediately, and although Recovery Girl was able to heal most of the damage, the scars stretching across the expanse of his back would forever be a grisly reminder to him and his family about just how close both he and his son had come to a fiery demise.

Todoroki was traumatized from the incident, unsurprisingly, and his family immediately sought out any therapist who would help. He was firmly against medications, but eventually with some encouragement he admitted that some antidepressants would help with his lingering depression stemming from early in his childhood. Still, it would take a lot of work to undo most of the damage that his father and brother inflicted on him, and once someone leaked online a massive blog post on a few of Japan's largest hero forums detailing every single abuse that Endeavor had done to his family, it wasn't long before social media and the news media were sparking further outrage against the Number One.

Dabi had been subdued relatively quickly. In light of his unstable mental state, he was sentenced to Tartarus originally with a death sentence, but thanks to Endeavor's pleading (and moreso the pleads of the rest of the Todoroki family, especially Rei), the sentencing was nullified and he was instead incarcerated indefinitely under a psychotherapy requirement. He seemed to take his sentencing with relative ease, surprisingly, although a part of him felt smug when news outlets broke with the breaking stories of "Endeavor: World's Symbol of Child Abuse?"

Rei was heartbroken when she learnt of the injuries, physical and mental, that her husband and son sustained from Dabi. It set back her emotional and mental recovery a bit, and it was determined that instead of getting out of the hospital at her original date, her stay would be extended for a few months, ending with the promise that she would be available for her children once the school year concluded to get their affairs in order: namely, a divorce and subsequent custody change of their son.

Yuuei and the Commission didn't get out quite so easily, however; as soon as the news broke across Japan about AFO's video, many former heroes came forward with stories of their own abuse and mistreatment at the hands of quite a few agencies, and alumni of the high school especially began talking extensively on Twitter about abuse they suffered at Yuuei that the school had never bothered to help them with. Former bullying victims talked of their abusers remaining in class with them and no therapy or help outside of teachers separating them. Former aces came forward with the amount of favoritism they felt compared to their peers and how much it negatively impacted not just their own wellbeing, but their abilities to work together with others. Former students with 'villainous' or 'useless' Quirks talked extensively on daytime talk shows about how much they were ignored in favor of flashier, more 'heroic' Quirks.

Shinsou and Izuku were reached out to once word spread that they had been victims of the school, but only Shinsou agreed to speak. He pointed out Bakugo (and class 1-A and 1-B as a whole) due to the trauma that the students suffered, as well as the neglect the school had shown them in getting them help for lingering PTSD that plagued both classes. Bakugo in particular was singled out as a poster child for 'the next Endeavor' that he had to fight hard to shake when talking about all the things he went through, especially when it came to the League kidnapping him. When the media tried to get ahold of the 39 students from both classes, they had varying success; many parents objected to having their children giving talks on national TV, while others jumped at the chance for their kids to finally get out their fears and anger over Yuuei's activities.

When investigators arrived at Yuuei to speak with the staff, there was one important person missing: the principal. The staff couldn't quite explain it, but after AFO managed to stop Nedzu from attacking him, the animal thrashed about for several seconds before finally biting him and breaking free, not responding to any of the staff as he disappeared from the office as soon as the door was opened. Hisashi, nursing his bite, just smiled when asked about it, a mysterious gleam in his eyes as he left the office.

The Midoriyas escaped the carnage relatively unharmed; luckily, once Yuuei started being investigated, they were relieved they didn't have to hide their residence anymore. His friends were overjoyed to be able to visit and Shigaraki was just relieved that the League wouldn't have to teleport in and out anymore. The only downside was the sheer number of reporters that continually harassed them out and about during the first few days. With the League's help, though, they eventually backed off. Shigaraki may have been tamed somewhat in his homicidal tendencies, but he was still an intimidating man when he wanted to be.

The reporters' camera flashes were almost blinding as the hero rose a hand to shield his eyes, his daughter slowly inching towards him warily.

"Endeavor! Endeavor! Over here!"

"What about the reports of your long-lost son?!"

"Is it true that you caused your wife to have a mental break?"

"What do you have to say about the reports of neglect and child abuse?"

"Miss Todoroki! Do you care to comment on your father's actions thus far?"

"Leave my daughter out of this," Enji spoke evenly, though his eyes were sparking with anger as he shielded Fuyumi's face from the cameras. "If you have questions, ask me. Stay away from my children."

"Dad, let's just go," the young woman murmured, embarrassed, tugging at his sleeve.

"Endeavor! Is your license being revoked?"

"Will you retire your position as Number One?"

A sudden flapping of wings interrupted the questions, and as they all looked up, Hawks landed next to the two with a smarmy grin and a peace sign.

"Hey, sorry to drop in!" He chirped, gesturing to Enji. "But I've got a special request to pick up a certain young lady and I wouldn't like to keep 'em waiting."

Fuyumi's cheeks pinkened and Enji rolled his eyes.

"Fine," he sighed. "I'll be home with the groceries soon, so go ahead and meet with your mother."

"I- if that's really okay," she replied before giving him a strained smile. "Alright. See you, Dad."

Holding out his arm, Hawks waited until she got close before scooping her up, earning a yelp as she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck. Saluting the senior hero with a wink, he braced himself and shot up into the sky, Fuyumi's squeal of surprise following them.

Enji just heaved another sigh as the reporters exploded with even more questions, this time dedicated to the relationship status between his daughter and the winged hero.

You owe me so many drinks after this, he thought irritably as he waved off yet another inquiry of "How long have Hawks and Miss Todoroki been seeing each other?"

Besupin Heroes Alliance Academy

"Deku!" Eri's overjoyed voice rang out in the park, and the teenagers looked over to see the child running over, an excited smile on her face as she jumped at him.

"You're here!" He exclaimed, hugging her tight and twirling her around. He pulled back a bit to get a good look at her, smiling in a cute pink-and-white cat-themed dress, white knee-highs, and Mary-Janes. "How have you been? Have you been a good girl for Mirio-nii and Aizawa?"

"Yep! I've been a very good girl!" She puffed out her chest with pride. "I missed you!"

"I missed you too, Eri." He smiled and hugged her once more.

Mirio jogged up after her, an apologetic smile on his face as he threw an arm around his kohai's shoulders. "Sorry about that," he chuckled, "she just couldn't wait to see you."

"It's fine, I never mind." Midoriya smiled brightly at him. "How have you been, Mirio?"

"I'm managing," he admitted, his smile growing tenser for a moment. "Transferring out of Yuuei has been... something. Luckily, I was able to get a pardon due to my status as one of the Big Three, so technically I've already graduated with honors."

"That's amazing! Congratulations!" The two boys walked back over to the picnic area, where several girls were gathered together on a large checkered blanket.

"Omigosh, is that your daughter?!" Hanae gasped, sitting up straighter. "She is so adorable!"

Midoriya blushed while Mirio just laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. Eri shyly peeked at them and waved.

"Not quite," the blond replied. "This is Eri, Aizawa's foster daughter."

"Oh!" She clasped her hands over her mouth, cheeks going red. "Sorry for assuming! It's just... she looks so much like Midoriya, and you looked like her guardian from a distance..."

"It's alright, people do that all the time," Mina spoke up with a giggle as she leaned against her shoulder. "Every time we take them with us somewhere we have at least one question like that!"

"Someone thought Nejire was her mother one time," Uraraka recalled. "But that person couldn't decide between Amajiki and Toogata, and poor Amajiki fainted!"

"Yeah, that was a funny day," Mirio chuckled.

"Come sit, we made food!" Hagakure chirped.

The two boys sat down on the blanket, Izuku next to Uraraka and Mirio next to Inko, who smiled and passed them a bowl of salad.

"I made you a special plate, Eri," she said, reaching for a plate with adorable little apple slices cut to look like rabbits.

Her eyes sparkled as she took the plate. "Thank you, Auntie Inko!"

The older woman's eyes sparkled with repressed tears, but she simply smiled and patted the child's head.

Todoroki sat beside him, and Yaoyorozu and Iida were next to him. Iida beamed at his friend.

So much has changed since a couple of weeks ago, Midoriya thought to himself as he accepted a juice box. Uraraka nudged his side and he laughed at Bakugo chasing Kaminari around, the former shouting and the latter laughing maniacally.

The richest kids in 1-A had all transferred to Besupin as soon as they were able; in fact, a majority of the students from 1-A wanted to transfer, citing what they had seen during the 'Villain Bash' incident as proof that they would be safer.

So far, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Iida, and Shinsou had transferred for sure. The others were trying to get in on the next school year. Uraraka wanted to follow too, but her parents were already hard-up on money and they were a bit nervous about her moving to a new part of the country. Luckily, Yaoyorozu was able to convince them that she would be taken care of (and the mention of dorm life had ultimately cinched it).

For now, however, the majority of 1-A (and a few members of 1-B, surprisingly) were trying to get settled in for the end of the term. A lot of his classmates helped out with reconstruction of the grounds after the fight. Mineta proved himself pretty useful, as his sticky balls could be used to clean up residual messes left behind on the walls (and he was able to climb up and down the rough brick just fine).

As he shyly smiled at Uraraka when she handed him a cookie, he lay back on the blanket and gazed up at the blue sky.

This feels nice, he decided, glancing over to where Kirishima was excitedly talking about workout routines with Ginjiro. When Eri came over and sat behind him, gently placing a flower crown on his head, an even bigger smile spread across his face amid the cooing from some of the girls and Eri's own giggling at the soft red flowers. I think... for once, I think I'm gonna do just fine here.

OMAKE

"Why did you do it?"

"Hm?" The tall man turned his body to face the newcomer, the light of the monitors illuminating one side of his face.

"Why did you do it?" The other man rasped, twirling a knife between his fingers.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." A secretive smile crossed his lips, crimson irises glancing back at the monitors.

"You know damn well what I'm talking about, All For One." The visitor stepped forward, and the light caught the ends of his ragged scarf. "Why'd you take it from him?"

The villain turned away, his voice growing more cold as he began to speak. "You know why. He would have continued to go after me. He needed to be dealt with."

The other remained quiet.

"I admit, I grew a bit careless with this." He heaved a sigh. "I should have stopped him when it became clear that Kan was compromise; that one is on me. However, I cannot say that I'm particularly sorry for reducing him to such a..." here he chuckled, "savage animal."

The masked man shook his head slowly. "You are quite the entity, Shigaraki."

"I do try," the older man hummed dryly. "Have to keep all of my pawns in line, after all. Fatherhood may have softened me up, but my goals remain absolute. Now that I have One For All within my grasp, there's no real need to go after that bumbling fool Toshinori. Not when my son prizes him so."

"Good, good. If you did, I'm afraid I'd have to try and stop you myself."

AFO let out a hearty laugh. "You are hilarious, Akaguro. Surely you realize you would die trying?"

"Oh no, I'm already aware it would be a fruitless endeavor." A crooked grin spread across his face and his tongue darted out to lick his lips. "I could never match your prowess. Your son, however... he's quite the up-and-coming hero. I have no doubt that we would make a fantastic team, were the circumstances different."

AFO paused, and then turned to eye him out of the corner of his vision.

"All hypotheticals, of course," he chuckled, letting the light catch on one of his blades.

"You're lucky my son has already vouched for your abilities and moral compass, otherwise you would make a good Nomu," the villain muttered before heaving another sigh. "What did you really come here for?"

"Oh, just wanted to pay my due respects to the one responsible for getting me out of that hellhole. If I'd been in there for too long, I'd probably have gone mad like Chisaki."

"He was such an unstable case that I'm certain it wouldn't have taken much, even if he hadn't lost his arms," the white-haired man answered dismissively. "You, however, have conviction. Spirit. A will."

"Yeah, he's real psycho," Akaguro grunted. "But anyway. What next? Surely you aren't content just laying low until the public forgets."

All For One turned back to the monitors. Something on one made his lips curl into a wide, toothy grin.

"I have my own plans," he replied. "Plans that involve my sons. Izuku's faith in the world of heroes has been momentously shaken; so much so that if I can tilt him just a little further off of his path, he would become a great asset, just like Tomura. The two of them would work well, being the future holders of All For One and One For All."

"You'd...?"

"Why yes. That's why I raised him, after all." Shigaraki's manic grin grew ever wider. The vigilante-turned-villain caught it in the reflection on the monitor, and it sent a chill down his spine. "I may not be after All Might anymore, but there is still a hero society to topple. There are still heroes left that need taken down a peg... surely you would agree?"

"I've still got a list," the man shrugged. "And you want my help in it?"

"The more, the merrier. Besides, the League was formed with your will in mind."

At this, the man grumbled. "Yeah, yeah, I remember. A bunch of fools they were, at least before Shigaraki got his ass in gear."

"I want you to continue to monitor and help Izuku. Who knows; perhaps he'll take after you in other ways."

A wide grin spread across Akaguro's face, one to rival that of the father before him. "I like the way you think, All For One. Eh, what the hell, why not. Got nothin' better to do since I got out anyway."

"Excellent," the villain purred. "Now, I'm certain that my wife wants you over for dinner tonight. I assume you'll do your best to impress."

A/N: I will never pass up the opportunity to shit on Overhaul. :)

Anyways! Thank you all so so so so much for sticking it out! It still blows my mind looking at how much attention this story has gotten. As I promised in the original, I have some designs (they're poor quality, but hey, I tried) of the OCs in this book up on my Tumblr (link is in my bio, the name is tranquil-turbulence)! Everyone named is there except for Inoue. Maybe I'll finally draw her in the future? Who knows.

Guess we've finally gotten to wrap this one up. Maybe I'll post more of my AO3 works here? We'll have to see. :)

Thank you for reading! Please tell me what you thought!
