Summary:
The hunter becomes the hunted, and then the new hunters become Kamijo Tatsuhisa's prey.
"Pl-please! Please have mercy!"
"It's too late to tell me to stop!" Luke swung again, knocking the thug's teeth loose.
Luke stood over the unrecognizable debt collector, his fists unsatisfied and thirsting for another swipe at the human trash. "You're the guys, yes? The lowlifes who harmed Hunt?"
"Goto Hunt? You an employee of his?"
"I am Luke! I am no one's employee! Everybody answers to me!"
"Y-you need to leave!"
"It's too late to tell me to stop! I said it twice, so you assholes are as good as dead!"
"Wh-what do you want?"
"I don't like the 'business' you're running here." He laid a hand on the barely breathing bozo's monitor and sent a yellow pulse through it. "Luke Devil."
"What did he do?"
"The computer!" Goon #3 tried the keyboard and mouse. "All our records!"
"Goha HQ has already preserved your records as evidence. Your debt collecting days are over. What I did just now was to prove to you I mean business. If you ever think about hurting Hunt again – that is, if you don't die in prison – I will find you. And I will kill you!"
"P-prison?"
"Get 'em boys!" Luke announced less severely.
A squad of Goha enforcers broke down the door and rappelled in through the windows, drawing nightsticks and net launchers on the two and the third on the floor.
"That was my order!" President Goha sauntered in past the much taller soldiers.
"The building is secured, President," the team captain reported.
"P-President? This shrimp?"
Mimi tch'ed, and the ingrate got a stun baton to the stomach for making light of her height.
Luke scraped his thumb across his neck to the last conscious criminal as the three were escorted out in cuffs. The unit cleared the room, leaving Luke and Mimi alone.
"You came here quick." Luke rotated a snow globe on the desk.
"It was my pleasure."
"I'm sure it was to hear from Roa after I called in the favour. How's Hunt?"
"Out of surgery. He'll be fine. Goha has the best doctors, after all. You should go see him yourself."
"I'll go now. Thanks. Give Yoshio my regards, Atachi-san."
"That's President, Luke King!"
