I made this purely out of self indulgence. You're welcome.
Pizza toppings had been going missing all over town. So naturally someone had to investigate. And that someone was Lena sabrewing.
She hadn't really decided on a hero name yet. She'd been considering sorceress as a potential name, but she still wasn't sure. Normally this would've been a for gizmoduck but he was on a date with his girlfriend and since no one else was around, she decided she'd just do it herself, as well as her trusty sidekick and adoptive sister, Violet. After all. She had get started as a superhero somehow.
Now if someone would just show up with a grocery bag full of pepperoni or something like that, that'd be great.
"I'm bored." She groaned, lying down on the rooftop she and Violet were sitting on.
"I brought books." Violet replied.
""No thanks." Lena said, immediately regretting she'd said she was bored in case Violet would start trying to get her to read a wrinkle in time or some other book. All she got was an eye roll.
Suddenly, out the corner of her eye, she saw what looked like two birds, carrying a sack between them, they appeared to be struggling with holding the sack up and little pieces were falling out of the sack and as they got closer and closer, it became apparent to Lena that that was sausage falling out of the sack and that those weren't birds.
"Are those bats? Why would a bunch of bats be trying to steal pizza toppings?" Violet asked.
"I don't know. But we're going to find out. Quick, follow those bats!" Lena said, before sprinting off, onto the next rooftop, and Violet quickly followed.
Soon, the bats stopped near a streetlight. Under that streetlight was a woman.
She was tall. Really tall. Lena noticed. She wore a a long, form fitting, red dress, with sleeves that went to her elbows and had small curves at the end. And hair was something else. A huge Frankenstein's bride styled beehive with black and white streaks.
She must get away with a lot of shoplifting, Lena thought.
"You got the sausages right?" She questioned the bats, as they dropped the sack of meat onto the sidewalk. "Good boys. Now we're done here. We'll bring this to the board, and after that, we're going home." At this, the bats stopped flying and fell straight to the ground, exhausted. The woman crouched down, picking them both up. "I know, my dears, I'm tired too, but we're almost done, and now that we're done with Duckburg, we'll be headed for St Canard next."
Finally! Lena thought. This was her chance!
"You won't be going anywhere." She said dramatically, revealing herself from the shadows and floating off the roof and into the air.
The woman looked up at the flying girl and stood back up, with the bats still resting in her arms. "Not impressed." She said disdainfully. "Was Kinda expecting someone a bit older."
Then, Lena flew down, and quickly grabbed the sack of sausages off the sidewalk. The woman turned around, smirking. "You shouldn't have done that." She said, as the bats flew it of her arms, and she stuck out her hand at the flying girl, and telekinetically yanked the sack out of Lena's Grip. "Oh so you're a witch huh? I might have some experience with that." Lena said, yanking the bag back with her own telekinesis.
What followed was a telekinetic tug of war between the two sorceresses over the sack. Violet, staring down at the strange scene unfolding below from the rooftop, briefly thought of intervening. However since the scene below was so entertaining to her, she decided against it.
That, and officer Cabrera showed up around that same moment and had to break it up.
The witch disappeared in red smoke, taking only the bats with her. She could see Lena getting scolded at by the officer, and soon found her own name getting called from the woman and found herself and Lena getting escorted home and getting a lecture by their parents about sneaking out. And the bad guy had managed to get away. So Needless to say. The night had been a bust.
They didn't think they'd ever see that witch again. But the night after that would prove otherwise.
So yeah, this is basically just my version of Morgana in the 17 verse and I am trying to draw a redesign of her but since I am a horrible artist, and because I can't draw beaks yet, they usually come out looking like faceless mannequins and the only thing I seem to be able to get right is her hair. But I'm trying! I hope you all wind up enjoying this, cause it's gonna be a long fic and there's a lot that's gonna happen. Yes there will be morgwing but that's coming soon!
Thank you all for reading!
