Izuku had once listed off many things he was capable of because of his Quirk. In Shouto's opinion, he forgot to mention "being able to help his partners when they are both ill yet have separate illnesses".

Izuku had managed to come down with a fever thanks to his decision to work alongside Asui during a typhoon. As shocking as it was considering he ran hotter than Shouto did and had been completely dry when he got back, but he was ill nonetheless. Momo had been hidden in her room for the last two days, not due to a fever-like Izuku had, but because of a very bad stomach ache.

Shouto, who'd grown up with a sister who'd fallen victim to the same "stomach ache" in the past, knew what that meant. So that was why he was down here, freezing an ice pack for Izuku's fever and filling a hot water bottle for Momo.

Everyone else in the dorm was moving around like they always did. Bakugou was his usual self, ignoring him as he worked. Jirou had checked on Momo a couple of hours ago, reassuring the others she would be fine after a couple of days' rest. Iida had provided him with the mask and gloves necessary to visit Izuku, with the reminder to dispose of them safely once he was done so Izuku didn't make everyone else fall ill.

All in all, a normal day for everyone else. Not so much for him. But standing around worrying wouldn't help anyone. Izuku and Momo would probably be worrying about him and how he was doing with them both ill like this.

The elevator was thankfully empty as he rode up to the fifth floor first. Momo was not likely to be infectious like Izuku was. If he delivered the water bottle to her first, then there was less risk of her picking up Izuku's fever later down the line.

The elevator dinged as it stopped. The doors opened, revealing Kirishima, who gave him a bright smile when he noticed what she was holding. "Jirou-san said she should be alright, but it's super cool of you to do that for her man!"

Shouto simply nodded and walked past Kirishima, grateful that people were used to him being quiet. He wasn't sure what to say to him in response. Momo would've played it down. Izuku would've gone cherry red and said something about it helping her.

They were the more social ones in the relationship. They were the wind, the sunshine, helping him through the awkward situations they stumbled into due to their relationship. He was the wall, what kept things from turning into a tornado of ideas, of passion and love-

Shouto felt his cheeks heat up as he stopped outside Momo's door. It was strange to think about, really. Shouto was just Shouto, the son of the number one hero. Izuku was a hurricane of emotions and aspirations. Momo was a fine leader and an amazing person. And they both cared for him, enough to agree to such an unusual relationship.

He didn't know what he'd do without them.

He knocked on the door with the handing holding the ice pack, eyebrows raising slightly at the frost that clung onto the wood after. He needed to remember to wrap a towel around the icepack or Izuku could end up adding an ice burn to the litany of scars covering his body.

"Kyoka, is that you?" Momo's voice, laced with pain, came through the door. Shouto's heart clenched uncomfortably at the sound of it.

Shouto took a moment to refocus. "No. It's me, Momo."

"Come in."

Shouto pushed the door open, ignoring the frost from his hand sparkling in the light from Momo's bedroom. Nothing much had changed from the last time he had been in here. They'd had a study date with Izuku a few days before the typhoon had hit, although it had been less "study" and more "date", what with Izuku feeling particularly affectionate that day.

Now, though, the main difference was the pile of blankets bundled high on the bed, with Momo's head sticking out from under it. "Shouto?"

"I heard you weren't feeling well." Shouto held up the water bottle he'd filled just for her. "Will this help?"

Even from the door, he could see how her eyes had lit up and a grateful smile had plastered itself on her face. "It will. Thank you, Shouto."

He made his way over to the bed, sitting down on the edge of the mattress so as to not disturb her blanket pile. He handed over the water bottle to the hand that had shot out from under the pile. When it came back out, he stared at it, unsure of what else she wanted.

"How's Izuku doing?"

"I don't know." He held up the ice pack he'd been keeping frozen. "I'm going to see him in a moment."

"Ah." He caught Momo's eyes briefly looked at the ice pack he was holding before she looked away.

Shouto reached his free hand over to the hand sticking out of the blanket and took hold of it, running his thumb over her knuckles in a way she'd seen her do to Izuku when he was stressed. "He'll be fine. He'll be working on an analysis of Asui's Quirk right now."

Shouto smiled slightly at the sound of Momo giggling to herself, melodic and warm as it was because it meant that this was fine. He hadn't overstepped any boundaries. A flash of concern showed on her face, one he recognised very well. He gave her hand a squeeze, which drew a curious look from her. "You're worrying,"

"I am." Shouto didn't press her for information, knowing the explanation was coming. "I want to check on Izuku, but it hurts too much to move."

"There should be some pain relief downstairs. I can get it to you after I've given this to Izuku-"

"It wouldn't help." Momo shook her head, wincing in pain. "Kyoka already gave me some."

"Oh."

"But thank you, Shouto." The smile she gave him warmed his heart, and he found himself smiling a little wider back. "The hot water bottle is helping already."

"That's good." Reluctantly, he let go of her hand and began to stand. "I should go see Izuku."

"I wish I could come with you to see him." Momo began to frown. "It's not normally this bad."

"I'm sure he'd want you to rest, Momo. He would not be happy if we both fell ill because of him." Momo fixed him with the look of fond exasperation she always wore when Shouto spoke of their boyfriend's tendency to worry too much about them. They wouldn't trade it, or Izuku, for the world. "You know how to reach me if you need me."

"I do. Come back soon, Shouto."

Shouto deliberated for a moment. He wasn't normally the affectionate one. Izuku was the one who flew between them handing out hugs and kisses like candy, but the downcast expression Momo was wearing jabbed at his heart too much.

He walked over to the bed again and leant over it, pressing a gentle kiss to Momo's temple, the way he'd seen Izuku do it. "I will."

He'd hoped it wasn't too far of him to do that. But the surprised little gasp she made, the look of pure love she gave him when he stepped back, told him that it was the right thing to do. He'd treasure that expression for the rest of his days.

A quick elevator trip down to the first level for a blanket brought him into the path of Bakugou, who was heading towards the kitchen. "Oi, Half 'n' Half. Where's Deku?"

"Still in his room." Shouto held up the ice pack he was still holding.

Something that sounded like a mix of a curse and a sigh escaped Bakugou as he trudged past him. "Dumb fuck Deku runs out in a typhoon and didn't even think about dressing right. Fucking Auntie Inko told him not to go out when the rain…"

Shouto tuned out the rest of Bakugou's profane rant as he retrieved a pair of dishtowels to wrap around the ice pack. Once back in the elevator, he jabbed the second-floor button and started putting on the mask and gloves Ida had provided him with. The number of people Izuku, Mezou and Asui had saved made up for how he'd gotten sick because of it. That wasn't to say Shouto wasn't annoyed by Izuku's habit of being self-sacrificing, but it was something he'd gotten used to.

You had to be used to it when you were dating Izuku Midoriya. It was one of the first things you had to teach him not to do in a relationship because otherwise, you ended up with an unhappy Izuku who just let other people be happy in his place.

The elevator doors opened to the second floor. Shouto stepped out and made his way towards Izuku's door, knocking on it with his free, non-frozen hand.

"S-Stay away!"

"It's Shouto. I have something for your fever." Without waiting for confirmation, Shouto pushed the door open and walked inside.

Izuku's room was the same as it had been the last time he'd visited. Yesterday, when Aoyama had expressed concerns about Izuku's health, having heard him sneezing through the night. Izuku, well... he looked horrible. He'd clearly been crying, going by how red and bloodshot his eyes looked from here.

The boy, his Izuku, blinked at him blearily. "Shouto, please. Go. I don't want you to catch this."

Shouto just gestured to his mask and his gloves before walking over to Izuku, being careful not to knock any of his figurines over as he went. "Iida made sure I wore these before I came in here. No one's going to catch it from you." He pulled out the thermometer and held it in front of him. "Open your mouth."

Izuku did as he was told, albeit reluctantly. The bar on the thermometer filled up rather quickly and stopped at a high temperature. His fever hadn't gone down at all.

He'd expected this. But it still worried him. Shouto rested a hand on Izuku's forehead, shifting the green hair away. Rather warm, which on the Shouto Todoroki temperature scale, meant that he was burning up. He removed his hand and unceremoniously placed the ice pack on Izuku's head.

It pained him to see Izuku ill like this. "You should've worn your extreme weather uniform." The worry must've been evident in his voice because Izuku almost started crying again.

"I didn't have time. I'm so sorry, Shouto. I know I should've but Tsuyu was already going and I didn't want to slow her down-"

"You wouldn't have." Shouto looked over at the All Might branded water bottle that was half-open on the bedside table. He'd forgotten to bring him some water up with him. "You would have caught up to her easily."

"But still!" Izuku's voice sounded ill. It must have been worse on him than they'd realised. "I should've been prepared."

Shouto decided not to mention how they were supposed to be covering extreme weather rescues next week. Izuku couldn't have been prepared because they hadn't been trained to work in a typhoon yet. Asui and Mezou had both come back drenched and shivering from the rescue and had spent the entirety of yesterday bundled up in blankets to recover from it. Asui loved working in the rain and it had done that to her. Mezou was still fast asleep in his blanket pile. No wonder Izuku had fallen ill.

"You'll be prepared if this happens again." Shouto offered what he hoped was a reassuring pat on the shoulder to Izuku. "Next time, don't forget your weather uniform."

"I-I won't." The sun always seemed to shine a little brighter whenever Izuku smiled. Shouto's theory about Izuku secretly having a weather altering Quirk only got stronger when the world brightened slightly at Izuku's lopsided smile. "Please, Shouto. Go, before you get sick too."

"Alright." Because Izuku was actually unwell, Shouto could not do to him what he had done to Momo. The thought of not being able to give Izuku the affection he so freely gave to him and Momo made his heart twist painfully. He resolved to give it to him when he was better. "You know how to reach me if you need me."

"I do." The lopsided grin became a full-on smile, making the world even brighter than it was already. Then Izuku sank into the covers and his smile faded.

The world became a lot darker after he closed the dorm room door.

Two days after Izuku fell ill, Momo was feeling well enough to help him. Since Izuku's fever had broken on the second day, Momo took care of feeding him medication and making sure he ate before they all went to class. Aizawa-sensei had accepted their reasoning for Izuku being unable to attend class without much of an explanation.

"He can be a warning to the rest of you of what will happen if you go into a typhoon unprepared," Aizawa-sensei said. "That is why we are putting you through the extreme weather rescue training this week. There will be far worse repercussions than falling sick if you go out into bad weather unprepared."

Shouto lost count of the number of times a "sudden wind change" had launched him into a wall. Uraraka and Mezou, who had managed to escape falling ill, had both been hit by flying debris and taken to Recovery Girl to be checked for concussions. Mineta had been the MVP of the first exercise due to his Quirk stopping a building from falling over, allowing Jirou and Momo to rescue a "civilian" from the debris under it.

Shouto generally did not listen to Mineta when he started talking to Kaminari. But when he caught Momo looking decidedly uncomfortable with the stream of words coming from their direction, he may have frozen the path ahead of Mineta. Just enough to make him slip and get distracted from the conversation.

Once they were back in the dorms, Momo practically made a beeline for the elevator. Shouto caught up with her easily and hit the second-floor button. Alone in the elevator, he reached over and took her hand.

"He doesn't get it." Shouto didn't need to specify who didn't get it. Almost all of the class was supportive and understanding of their relationship.

"No. He does not, Shouto." Momo squeezed his hand in reassurance before pulling it free so she could put on her mask and gloves. Shouto did the same.

The elevator doors squeaked open and they stepped out in unison. Izuku's door was still shut tight when they walked up to it. A moment of deliberation later. Momo and Shouto rapped their hands on the door at the same time.

Shouto caught the small playful smile Momo sent him as Izuku called out. "Come in."

The room was still the same as it was. Izuku looked exhausted still, but he didn't look pale and sickly anymore. Shouto was familiar with it from his own time being unwell: he'd be well enough to return to class tomorrow.

"Did something happen?" Shouto knew Izuku was perceptive to everything except love. Or, well, the feelings of love people felt for him. He'd probably picked up on his exhaustion and the disheartened expression on Momo's face as soon as they came in. "Was it in class?"

"Yes and no," Momo spoke first as Shouto walked over to Izuku, taking his turn to take his temperature. "Class went well. We started extreme weather rescue training today-"

"Sudden wind change," Shouto muttered as he took the thermometer from Izuku's mouth. Getting to his usual temperature. That was good. "You're getting better."

"I'm glad to hear you're recovering, Izuku." Shouto could see Momo's face crinkling the way it did whenever she smiled. Yet the sun hadn't started shining. More evidence for Shouto's theory about Izuku's Quirk. "But we were not prepared. Uraraka-san and Mezou-kun had to be taken to Recovery Girl. Mineta-kun did the best out of all of us."

"He said something inappropriate about our relationship afterwards. I made him slip on some ice."

The matter of fact way he said it must have been funny to Izuku because he let out a single chuckle before frowning. "Have you spoken to Aizawa-sensei about this? Mineta-san knows better than that."

"We will tomorrow. But I wanted to see you first." Shouto had to squeeze past Momo as she moved towards Izuku, giving her room to stand next to his bed. "Have you been alright? Do you need anything? Water? Soup?"

Shouto observed his partners as they spoke to each other. At some point, Izuku had taken one of Momo's hands in both of his, eyes sparkling as they discussed the exercise Aizawa-sensei had made them do. The affection and love they so easily gave each other, that they gave him made him feel strange. Shouto was learning how to give affection as he went. Izuku and Momo just seemed to know it from the beginning of their relationship.

He'd never understand how two such wonderful people as them had grown to care for him when the best he could do was repeat the affection they gave him. They were amazing, truly.

He heard Momo's voice calling out to him. "Shouto?" He blinked and looked over at them. Izuku and Momo were staring at him with matching looks of concern. "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah." Shouto stalled for a moment as he tried to think of something to say. What was one of those lines Momo had squealed at during their last movie night? "Just… watching the most beautiful thing in the world."

Evidently, that line didn't work with two people. Momo and Izuku looked at each other blankly, so he clarified. "You two. Watching you be affectionate with each other. It's beautiful."

That got the intended reaction. Izuku turned an adorable shade of cherry red and buried himself under the blankets, whining in embarrassment. Momo's jaw dropped behind her mask, cheeks also stained red from her blush.

Shouto smiled slightly before making his way over to them.

Once Izuku was well enough to attend class again, then Shouto struck.

Well. Struck was a rather harsh way of saying it. Izuku, Shouto and Momo had boarded the lift together as per their nightly tradition, punching in the buttons for the second and fifth floor respectively.

They stopped at the second floor. Izuku leaned up on his tippy toes to press a kiss to the side of Shouto's face, then Momo's. Usually, then he'd leave the elevator for his room and Shouto and Momo would continue up to the fifth floor.

This time, however. Shouto was ready. Gently holding onto his shoulder to stop him from leaving, he swooped in and did it back to Izuku, before carefully pushing him out of the elevator doors. As the doors closed, Izuku spun around to look back at them. His face was so red Shouto wouldn't have been surprised if steam had started erupting out of his ears.

Stepping back from the doors, Shouto peeked at Momo from the corner of his eye and was rewarded by the sight of her hiding a smile behind a hand. Onyx eyes met dark grey and turquoise and Momo raised an eyebrow, daring him to do the same to her.

He was doing well with this affection thing. So why not?

Shout stood on the tips of his toes and kissed her, too.

Author's Note: I apologise immensely if the Todomomo stuff came off stronger than everything else, I've never written a trio before and wasn't sure how to balance everything out. I hope you enjoyed it anyway! Please let me know how I did, I have another fic about this trio waiting and I'd appreciate feedback on anything that needs improving!
