She pause to think about how's her English Bulldog doing. She frowns as her dog doesn't like her older twin brothers for some reason."AHH!" The boat tilted over from the wave. "Grrr!" She was coughing out the water on the sand. She looked up to see a boy with brown hair and green eyes.

She turned pink but squints her eyes. She was too shy to ask him his name. She touched her chest to see that her ruby necklace wasn't there. She sighs as she looks at the water.

She groan as she hears his older cousin voice. "SKYLA!" He ran to her fast and checking her. "Ercole, look I'm fine!" She said in a sigh. He looks at her knowing when she gives sad eyes.

"Did someone hurt you?" He raised. I can hurt them back because they hurt La Mia picocola, he pats her head. She smiles knowing his overprotectiveness No one hurt me… someone save my life, she smiles.

He froze and puzzles. I just lost my favorite necklace, she sighs. He puzzles not say anything. Let's get you dried up, she looked back to the sea.

At her relatives's house….

"LOOK at you! My poor bebé!" Her grandma hugs and grabs her hand to clean her up. She took a warm bath and fresh outfit. The dress was blue with ruffles. Her grandma hits Ercole with the boom. Skyla saw her grandma hitting him with the boom.

She stops her when she went too far. Skyla blushes when she remembers the mysterious boy. "Why are you turning red?" Her uncle smirk. She puzzles and squints Aww, the little lady found a crush, her uncle smirked.

Skyla turns red and nods slowly. He saved my life and he was pretty cute, she swings her arms. Her grandma smiles and hugs her. "My bebé found her true love!" She kisses Skyla on the cheek.

I didn't get his name… she sighs. "What did he look like?" Ercole asked. She bit her lip knowing why. He so protective of her. But their Uncle Luigi snaps at him. He growls and walks out of the room.

After summer vacation she went back to California.

"Teddy, I'm home!" She called her Bulldog's name. He came running but he tried though halls as he drawls though the ground. "These my chubby fat baby!" She picks him up. She gives him kisses. "Who wants a treat!" His eyes sparkled.

There's the dog of the devil, her older twin brothers said. She snaps at them. "He's not demon, Aliston, Bailey!" She said with a tone. They gave her a dirty look.

She got her homemade dog treats for her little bulldog.

"I can't wait for next summer!" She grins.

The next year….

She was in her uncle's car with her dad and Teddy. She sighs as her brothers said they didn't watch him anymore. She stares at the little island. She smiles as sees family again and Ercole comes and hugs her. Until her bulldog comes running towards him. Knocking him down. Teddy licks him with his doggy drowl. "Aww, he likes you!" She smiles.

He saw her smiling and pets him with a fake smile.

In the little town, the boys were smiling at her. "Alberto, let's get out of here!" Luca said nervously. "What's wrong?" He asked. There she is, Alberto said. "Who?" Luca was puzzling. That girl with the flowing dress. I saved her from drowning, Luca's jaw drop. She's beautiful, his face flashed pink.

She was walking up the hill. She saw the boy who saved her life but Ercole was coming to her. The bulldog was running to him that knocked him down. He salvers him with kisses. Skyla giggles. He growls at the dog but sighs as he sees his cousin smiling.

At the Gelato Parlour….

She smiles as her bulldog enjoying his doggie biscuits. She turns pink when she sees him. She took a deep breath and told herself today was the day. She runs up to him and taps on his shoulder. She smiles big and blushing too. "H-hi…I-I'm…Skyla!" She stutters of shyness. He jump and turns to her, turns pink. I'm Alberto, he shakes her hand.

Skyla saw Ercole, grabs Alberto's hand. He turned red. She went to her secret place. Alberto smiles nervously at the bulldog as he was drooling. "Why… Does your cat look like he's angry?" Alberto try to back away from him. "He's a English Bulldog silly!" Skyla giggles at him. He just looks like that, she smiles. Teddy sits next to him and stares. He licks Alberto. Alberto quickly covers his hand. "Aww, Teddy likes you!" She giggles. I wanted to thank you for saving me, she smiles. He smiles back. She stop smiling then frowns. I lost my favorite necklace when you saved me, she stares at the ocean. "You did?" He asked. That necklace means so much to me, she cried. It was given to me by my mom after… she died from cancer. "How did it look like?" Alberto asked. The necklace was made from rubies, she said as hugging legs. Alberto froze and starts running back to the island.

Few minutes later…

Close your eyes, she did that. Open them, Alberto held out his hands. Her face brightens up and hugs him. "How did you find it?!" She was so happy that he found it. He froze and made somethings. I'm a good swimmer and diver too with my eyes open, he lied. "Can you help me put on?" She asked. Alberto tried to help but he figured it out. "Do you want to come eat with me at my uncle's restaurant?" She asked. "What's a restaurant?" He asked. Where they sale food silly, had a soft smile. He nods.

Ercole sported her with a boy who he doesn't like and follows them. At the restaurant, was big and had a lot of people and famous people too. Hiya Uncle Luigi, Skyla smiled. The bulldog came running inside but her uncle doesn't like dogs being inside. So he waited outside. He saw a boy who was with her, smiled. This Alberto who saved my life, her uncle smiles warmly at him.

He gave them a private table by the ocean. Skyla saw her uncle snapping at Ercole for spying on her. Her uncle lit up a candle and seated on the table. "Hey, Alberto, have you been to California?" She asked. "What's that?" He asked but made her giggle at him. It's a state in United States, she said with a soft smile again. I live with my dad and twin older brothers, she said with a smile then sighs. My dad isn't always there when I need him, Alberto frowns at her when she said that. Well… I mean I come from a rich family. but my dad owns a casino and hotel, she said with a gloomy look. He loved my mom. She was poor but was amazing at singing! She had skin like snow white and she loved to surf too! She grew up in California and met my dad as singing performer. He changed after she died, she said. My dad abandoned me, Alberto said with a sigh. Skyla frowns at him.

"Two spaghetti meat balls!" Her uncle brought them with a smile. She giggles at him when he as he was eating with his hands. No, silly, you do like this. She showed him how to use the folk.

"Skyla, who's this?" Ercole asked. Skyla and Alberto jumped. Alberto was getting nervous. "Do you know I'm her cousin?" Alberto eyes grew wide when he said that.

"HE'S YOUR COUSIN?!" He said out loud. Ercole smugly smiles at him.
