Sweet Meets
"Who's that?" asked the man, pointing into the dark corner of the library.
"He's my brother, Sammy," shrugged Dean. "He's not been quite his normal self recently, so I've been taking care of him." He couldn't remember the mark's name, but he guessed that would do.
"Ah, yes, the dubious joys of younger siblings," said Mark, rolling his eyes. "Hey, how's it going?" he asked in an obnoxiously loud and patronizing tone that instantly had Dean's back up.
There was no answer. But then, Sam always was the more patient one. Even now.
"Don't worry about it, most of the time he's in a world of his own unless it's something he's interested in," said Dean with a tight smile that didn't reach his eyes.
"Oh?" scoffed Mark. "What's that?"
"Brains!" slurred Sam, shuffling to his feet and advancing as Dean hefted the ax he'd been hiding behind his back.
