Michael looked at Kiera his 17 year old daughter who was every bit of him but more dramatic. He smiled softly as she handed him water.
Michael was 33, 5'11 on a good day and had brown beach wavy hair and had golden glasses. Kiera was 17, 5'8 and had mid length brown hair.
Michael's wife Jamie was 5'7 and she was also 33 and had blonde hair that was long. Michael was a therapist and Jamie was a pediatrician.
Kiera looks at her dad "What is wrong? You look sick." She said Michael shook his head not wanting to tell her yet because he and Jamie agreed to wait to tell anyone that he was pregnant. "I'm alright I promise."Kiera rolled her eyes and walked to the kitchen.
Jamie came home from the store and smiled "Hey Kiera." Kiera smiled "Hey mom, you're husband is acting weird." Jamie started to laugh softly "Oh? Well I'm sure my husband is fine." She said and went to kissed Michael's cheek. Kiera shook her head and grabbed her keys "I'm gonna go see Thomas." She said. Thomas was Kiera's boyfriend of two years. Jamie and Michael nodded. Once she was gone Jamie sat next to Michael and kissed him "How are you feeling?" She asked. Michael smiled softly after kissing her back "So nauseous all I can keep down is water." After a bit Michael was laying on Jamie's lap and was half asleep. Michael eventually fell asleep and Jamie watched Netflix as it started raining outside.
Kiera came home and she smiled at her mom and went to her room. Kiera had cancer, Leukemia to be exact stage 3. Kiera took her meds and logged that she did. Kiera laid down in her bed falling asleep pretty fast.
Jamie got up and marked off that Kiera took her meds and she smiled softly. She cleaned the kitchen a little and did some laundry as it started really storming outside. An ambler alert went off and it was about a hurricane. Jamie puts a warm blanket over Michael and goes to check on Kiera.
Jamie smiled and saw Kiera was asleep. Jamie picked up Kiera's room and went into the master bathroom. Jamie turned on the shower and got in.
Michael rubbed his stomach as he woke up and looked out the window seeing how bad it was raining. Kiera came and laid on the couch with him. Her head on his lap and she was relaxed enough to close her eyes. Michael kissed her head and held her "You okay honey?" He asked and Kiera nodded "I'm okay dad don't worry I see it in your eyes."
Jamie came back and smiled she was in pjs and she fixed the couch to where it was like a bed. Jamie laid with them both and turned on a movie. Kiera held onto Michael and started falling asleep again.
Jamie kissed Michael and they helped Kiera to her bed where she stayed asleep. Michael and Jamie went to lay down in their bed and they kissed as Jamie spooned Michael rubbing his sensitive stomach and making sure he was comfortable. Jamie was an abuse survivor and she didn't talk about it. Kiera had no idea she just figured her mom didn't like being scared or she didn't like to be touched at times. Kiera had chopped it up to Jamie just being sensitive. Jamie fell asleep and so did Michael.
Kiera woke up in the middle of the night and she tried to turn in the light but it didn't come on. She walked to her parents room "Mom, there's no power." She said, Janie nods "Alright, are you okay?" Kiera nodded "Yeah I am my stomach just hurts a little." Jamie nods "Alright do you-" the power came back on and so did their alarm system. Jamie turned off the alarm system and turned on her bedside lamp. "Do you want a heating pad?" She asked and Kiera nodded laying in her parent's bed. Jamie got Kiera a heating pad and let her set it on herself. Jamie was beyond tired but she didn't say that of course. Jamie laid down and she fell asleep almost immediately.
In the morning Michael woke up and he was nauseous but he didn't get sick thankfully. He got up and got into a lukewarm shower. Jamie and Kiera were both asleep even though it was Thursday morning and was 7:30.
Kiera woke up and she got ready for school. She drove to school and Jamie had the day off. She slept in, she had one day off a week each day was different.
Jamie got up around 9, Michael wasn't home nor was Kiera. Jamie cleaned up and she organized Kiera's medicine's for the upcoming week. After that Jamie sat on the couch and fell asleep. She took another nap and somehow she slept for the rest of the day.
When Michael came home at 2 he smiled "Honey I'm-" he stopped seeing her asleep on the couch. He smiles softly and let Jamie be. Kiera came home at 4 and she dropped her backpack on the kitchen counter "Dad. Where is mom?"
Michael laughed "She's napping on the couch. Am I chop liver?" Kiera laughed softly "No. what's for dinner?" She asked. Michael shook his head softly "I'm not sure but I'm not hungry." He said "However if you are I'll make you something." Kiera shook her head "No I'm not at least right now. Can I spend the night with Thomas?" She asked. Michael nodded "Yeah, take your meds and actually sleep. No skipping tomorrow." He said and Kiera nodded.
Kiera drove to Thomas's and went inside. "Hey." Kiera said and Thomas smiled "Hey honey how are you feeling?" Thomas asks gently touching her hair. It was getting thin Kiera smiled softly "I'm okay, I'm just really tired but I didn't think I could sleep without being in your arms." She said looking into his eyes and they kissed each other. Thomas rubbed her back "How about you take your medications and eat something like apple sauce and then we go cuddle in my bed?" He suggested. Kiera nodded with a smile and took out her medications. She took them and then ate a little but felt sick so she stopped. Thomas walked with her in hand to his room and she put on his old shirt and she laid down in his bed. Thomas held her tightly and smiled wiping his eyes quickly.
Back at the Hunter house Michael made a small simple dinner and by dinner it was just yogurt. Jamie woke up and she looked over to him "I'm glad you're eating. You look like you're feeling okay." She said with a happy smile. Michael nodded "Yeah I feel pretty good. Kiera went to Thomas's." Jamie nodded and walked to him kissing his head "God you're so handsome." Jamie said and Michael laughed softly "Honey I love you to a million piece's but please I'm eating and I'd rather not get turned on." They both laughed about that for a minute before clothes came off and apparently they were desperate for this. Jamie was a skinny thing however she had thy's and an ass. Her breasts were 32C's she didn't go and flaunt this because of her past. If Jamie were to have had a hoe phase she would have had any guy she wanted within minutes. Michael was trans and so he didn't have any of his female things at least on top. Once they finished they laid there panting a little "God you're good.." Jamie said and Michael laughed "I know..." they both laughed and just laid there.
Later on Jamie sat by herself outside with her computer the sun was setting and she looked up at the sky. She closed her eyes and tears came down. Jamie cried as quietly as she could outside. She had gotten a call this week about her parents and she didn't know what to do.
She got up and walked inside sitting on the couch. Michael didn't know what was happening. He was doing some work at the kitchen table. Jamie sat on the couch and cried until she couldn't not make sound. She gasped and just sobbed.
Michael looked at her and ran to her. He puts his arms around her. Michael looked at her "Honey what's wrong?!" He asked her. Jamie took deep breaths "They're out. My parents are out." She said sounding so scared and worried not really about herself but more for her family.
Michael looked at her "Oh baby...okay hold onto me for as long as you need." He said holding her. She kept her hand on his stomach. She cried more and ended up half asleep. Michael carried Jamie to bed and laid with her. Michael knew how scared she was feeling. They had met at 15 and Jamie got pregnant from rape with Kiera at 16.
Michael's childhood wasn't too bad. He didn't talk to his dad but he was really really close with his mom Elizabeth and stepdad Nate and half brother Willam aka Will. Michael grabbed his phone and texted his mom.
: Mom, can you come over tomorrow night? I just miss you
His mom: Yeah hon I can. Need anything from the store?
:No I'm okay thank you though.
His mom: Honey is everything okay?
: Yes, just I don't know I could use some time with you I guess. I'm a bit sad and I am not sure why
His mom: Okay, I'm on the way over hon.
Michael got up and let his mom inside and they hugged "Hey sweetheart." Elizabeth said to her son. Elizabeth was 48 and she was just an amazing woman. She was a nurse mainly taking care of Ob patients. When Jamie got pregnant with Kiera she went immediately to Elizabeth. Jamie was a mess and Elizabeth just cried with her and calmed Jamie down. They got through it and Kiera was a valentines baby. Elizabeth married Nate when Michael was 7 and had Will when Michael was 14. Will was 19 and he was definitely a wild kid unlike Michael. Michael was quiet and he wasn't loud. He didn't drink. He liked to travel and do new things though which meant that Jamie did things like sky diving which she almost killed Michael about later. Kiera had gone on a hike with Michael a week before her diagnosis and she said since then that she wanted to be able to hike with her dad again. Michael was a huge family man and wanted his family to know that.
Kiera laid with Thomas and they cuddled under the blanket. Thomas was trans and he had been raped but didn't want to say that. He had found out he was pregnant a week ago and didn't tell anyone. Once Kiera was asleep Thomas rubbed his stomach and started to fall asleep. In the middle of the night Kiera woke up in extreme pain. She woke up Thomas but by then she couldn't speak. She was halfway yelling through the pain but it was really bad. Thomas just grabbed Kiera sped to the hospital.
