Harry Potter sat on the swings on the park waiting for the man, Lord Malfoire he reminded himself, who has sent him the letter. Suddenly a dark-haired man appeared in flowing black robes of what looked to be the finest of silks, head held high as cold green eyes (his eyes Harry thought) surveyed his surroundings. Harry watched as the man's eyes landed on his face and his eyes softened slightly. The man walked towards Harry and extended his hand and introduced himself, "Heir Potter, I am Lord Salvatio of the Most Ancient Most Noble House of Malfoire. It is a pleasure to meet you. You look a lot like your father, a perfect mixture of your grandparents. "
"Lord Malfoire, it is a pleasure to meet you to. Call me Harry. What do you mean by Heir Potter?" asked Harry curiously.
"Call me Salvatio then. Do you not know? You know nothing?" said Salvatio looking thunderous. Harry had a flashback to the time he had gotten his Hogwarts letter for the first time. "Tell me child, do you truly know nothing of your heritage, of those whose blood flows in your veins, of what it means to be a Potter?" asked the man stressing the word Potter.
"What do you mean? I know that my father's family was an old pure-blood family but I never researched farther." said Harry looking ashamed.
Salvatio nodded looking troubled before his face cleared, "I would come here daily and teach you, but if Dumbledore got wind of this it could cause several problems." Then handing him a notebook Salvatio continued, "This notebook is linked to mine, write whatever questions you have and I shall answer them. I will send you several books to read, read them. Ok?"
Seeing Harry nod Salvatio continued, "Every day you will read the book I tell you to read via the notebook, then you will write what you learned before going to bed. Then I will write to you a story about your family if you wish. When I send you the books, read these three books first: Basic Wizarding Etiquette; The Great Houses; and The Magic of the Mind. Then we will see what to do next. Is that all right with you?" asked Salvatio.
"Yes." replied Harry.
"Take this." said Salvatio giving him a pendant with the dragon crest on it. "If you are in danger say Emrys and you will be sent to safety. Now I must leave. Be on guard though, Dumbledore has several people following you under invisibility cloaks." with that Salvatio disappeared.
True to his word Salvatio had sent the books by nightfall. Harry had been horrified to learn that Dumbledore and Snape could read his mind. He had practiced the meditation exercises each night before bed, and was improving by leaps and bounds. He had begun practicing basic etiquette, and had begun learning about the House of Potter and the House of Black, which Sirius had made him the heir too. Harry enjoyed reading the stories about his family and the Grindelwald war Salvatio told. Salvatio had been furious to learn Harry did not even know his own name, which was Harryjames Salvatio Amethyst Potter, and Harry for friends. Apparently Harry had been named traditionally by his parents, a practice which helped specify people in the eyes of magic, and a practice even most pure-bloods had abandoned. Salvatio told him about Dark Magic, and that there was no Dark Magic. In Salvatio's words, "There is only magic, after all, Magic is Magic, nothing more and nothing less, and the intention that wields it. There is a place and time for each type of magic. The best witches and wizards are those versed in all types of magic, and know when to use which." Harry enjoyed talking to Salvatio, and was coming to consider the man as a grandfather, if not a father figure. Salvatio had begun teaching Harry about laws, when Harry finished learning the General History of House Potter and Black, and the Basic customs and etiquette.
As soon as Harry dropped Dudley on the couch and told his aunt to give him some chocolate, he ran upstairs to write to Salvatio. Harry had just urgently written in the notebook, when his Uncle called him downstairs. Three owls had arrived. The first letter told him he was expelled. The second letter was from Mr. Weasley telling him that Dumbledore was sorting it out. The third letter told him it would be decided whether he would be expelled or not during the hearing in two weeks. After explaining everything to the Dursleys, Harry again wrote to Salvatio.
Salvatio replied instantly, "Wear Acromantula Silk dress robes with the Potter crest on the day of the hearing, and get your heir ring before the hearing. Arrive early and sit in the waiting room of Director Bones office. I will take care of the rest. Do not worry. Do not speak of me to anyone, do not write to me till the hearing, and do not meet Dumbledore or Snape's eyes without making it obvious. Practice Occlumency every night before sleeping. Good night Harry."
Harry did not write to Salvatio like Salvatio commanded. He convinced Mr. Weasley that it was important he looked his best so wished to buy new robes. So on the day of the hearing, Harry looked like the perfect pure blood heir, expensive robes, heir ring displayed proudly, and using occlumency to look like he was disinterested with what was going on around him. Some of the Black Portraits had complimented him. Ron had looked jealous and the others surprised. Three hours before the hearing, Heir Harryjames Salvatio Amethyst Potter and Mr. Arthur Weasley set of for the ministry an hour before the hearing.
