As I write under the light of the 3DS, another day of school has been completed with tomorrow being a Thursday. I am starting to wonder if Colby will be getting that shiny for tomorrow especially with the fact that he has gotten two shinies in six days with the recent shinies of Rockruff and Cubone. At least there is one positive and that is he doesn't have a shiny Ray yet in Pokemon Go compared to other people in the group chat who has got it. But it's only a matter of time until he does get one.

The temptation of doing the work set by the teachers is something that could be a good way to pass the time. But I think, for now, the best strategy is probably to get some sleep and work on it during the bus trip to school tomorrow.

I don't know how to write this diary entry, because well...I don't know how to describe what has happened in these past 24 hours. One case of this is the fact that a part of the world population has turned into Pokemon which includes my brother who is now a Mawile. If there is anything to come out of it, at least it won't be as boring now for the fact that we are monsters that are beside us.

Oh, what else happened, well school teachers don't want anything to do with these monsters despite them being innocent (or I hope they will be). Basically, they are trying to protect the human people as innocent as they have the same knowledge as the scientists of the world on how this event happened. Especially when the scientists are still trying to figure out what even happened to cause this event in the first place. For now it's a wait and see.

So my first run trying to train Colby in learning some moves sort of didn't work as he didn't bite through the branch that I found outside. It could be because he hasn't had that experience in using those jaws. It also looks like the country has now been locked down which is great I assume. But it's not going to be helpful for most people in this type of scenario.

Much like the previous diary entry, it's all about this waiting game for our state. To see what Adam will do for the state considering Victoria has had their first day in full lockdown mode. The rest of the country on the other hand are open, for now, but probably working behind the scenes to consider the best for the country.

Hmm so it seems like I might be moving out of town on a permanent basis. This is because the premier has announced the rules with one of those being that Colby's education is now pre-determined. This is because he has to go to a school just for elementals which will be fine. For me that means as a way to support him, I would have to leave home as well. So instead of my current campus, I have to head to a new college which is not going to be fun in the slightest.

At least one positive is that Colby is improving his use of his jaws for the move bite. The branches are now being chopped a lot more cleany compared to what it was yesterday. Of course it is still not quite strong but hopefully with time it would do some damage to anything that Mawile isn't weak too.

August 25

Well here I am in a completely different area that I am unfamiliar with while I am writing this entry. This is due to the fact that before last night's entry, my mother thought it would be good if we could meet up with someone that she was familiar with. After that conversion, we had to leave early and meet up with Stevie who as mom would call it, a friend of the family. Not that it really matters especially when there was no choice.

During this trip, I noticed a couple of things. First, Stevie doesn't seem to be much of a talker. Secondly, he is completely clueless on Pokemon which isn't much of a surprise there as asking one simple question gave that away. At least there was a chance of giving him some learning tips about the basics of Pokemon and he might be able to understand what it's all about. He will understand, I hope.

When you haven't a day off school during the term for three years, it feels a bit off you know. Especially when you follow a set pattern of going to school during the week and have the weekend off. But today for my purposes it's a weird thing. During the day, I thought about looking up Breloom's move set to see what moves it currently has. After looking at this movepool, I think I could easily help Brom be a possible attacker in retention if someone does attack us in the near future. But that is a big if.

The other training news is thinking about training Colby some fairy moves with the first one being Fairy Wind which Mawile can learn naturally. So after telling Colby about the plan, we started work on training for those moves and it's not really working so far. Oh well at least we are trying, and that is the main thing.

August 27

Well, as we can't seem to get away from it, I suppose I have to write this in my diary now and that is the fact that this world is breaking apart. Bit by bit, the world is slowly but surely breaking apart as the split between the human and the elementals is starting to come apparent. Just recently, a news story about some weird energy that is happening over the Pacific. Of course it is weird that it has happened since the transformation happened, probably.

Then there is the factor of the Pokemon franchise as a whole. Pokemon Go now doesn't exist with the servers lost to the Elementals due to it being in California. The other two games that were on the release schedule are now being delayed due to this event. To top all that off, it seems like Nintendo might be losing money due to this issue that has happened. Let's be honest though, at least it's not like the world has turned into Minecraft all of a sudden.

August 28

So it looks like I officially am going to Launceston College starting tomorrow. This is as Stevie has told me that I have been enrolled at the college as a way to continue with my education. While Brom and Colby have to try and help each other out while I am gone at school as Stevie won't have that Pokemon experience. At least there is some positive to say at least. This is because I will be staying in the courses that I was doing before this event happened.

The only problem though is now the fact that I am not familiar with the college. Apparently though they have covered that for me as well. This is because they are giving me a guide to give me a short tour before heading to my first class which will make me a little bit more comfortable now. To be honest my only thought when I heard that was ok then, I suppose that will have to do.

August 29

Finally, my first day of college is complete and here I am tired from just being in a completely new area without a mental map of where to go. This mental map now guides you on where you need to go as well as the best shortcuts so you don't arrive late to class. Now say, you get removed from that area and get placed in a new area with no map to work out where to go. That is basically what I feel like right now.

Anyway, other than that sort of area, the first day of the new college was an interesting experience as the first two classes were geography and social studies. During those particular classes, they do a section of the criteria that in my previous college were not upto in the criteria for that particular course. Hopefully with these next two months before the end of the school year, I won't hopefully have to rehash some of the criteria before the year is up.

Author Notes: So another chapter is complete and this one isn't really a chapter per say to the story but kind of a small snippet of that first week in the eyes of Brendan's diary entries as he is that sort of person who likes to write about his day. This is similar to when I was his age as I would try as my New Year's resolution was to write around 300 words each day for that year. Did get to around August before calling it quits which is kind of ok but it might have been due to the fact that it wasn't as exciting as these entries.

So until next time, Hawk out.
