In a forest near the city, Sonic was resting sitting in a tree and sleeping soundly while Tails was on the other side of the forest preparing a surprise party for him.

Tails: "Ok guys, Sonic hasn't gotten up, that fight with Eggman will have tired him" –he told them.

Knuckles, Amy, Rouge, Shadow, Omega, Silver, Blaze, the Chaotix team, Cream with Cheese and her mother Vanilla, Big and Froggy were there helping with the surprise party.

Amy: "The birthday cake is ready" –she said.

Silver: "Now only the celebrated one is missing"

Knuckles: "I'll take care of it" –he said as he ran to Sonic.

The blue hedgehog was resting deeply until he was abruptly awakened by Knuckles yelling his name.

Knuckles: "Sonic, Sonic, good to meet you!"

Sonic: "What's up, Knuckles?" –he ask as he got up from the ground.

Knuckles: "It's Metal Sonic, Eggman sent him to attack" –he told him.

Sonic stiffened, but calm.

Sonic: "It seems that the doc has not learned in his conquest of the world. Anyway, where is Metal" –he said as he got ready to run.

Knuckles smiled to himself.

Knuckles: "Over there" –he said, pointing to the place where the surprise party was located.

Sonic: "Ok, I'll go seconds" –he said as he ran towards the direction where Knuckles told him.

While running, Sonic was about to leave until he saw his friends who were gathered and the blue hedgehog stopped running.

Sonic: "Guys, what are you doing here? It doesn't matter, Metal Sonic is attacking and I'm going for… "

SURPRISE!

At that, Sonic was surprised to learn that his friends had organized a surprise party for him. At that, the blue hedgehog realized what was happening.

Sonic: "Wait, the Metal thing was a trap for me to come here?" –he ask.

Tails: "Sure" –he told him.

Knuckles walked by Sonic's side as he left with the others.

Sonic: "Well, I must say that they have surprised me again" –he said as he approached them.

And so, Sonic celebrated his birthday together with his friends and they stayed there until the blue hedgehog turned one more year of life.
