Atlas, Amity Colosseum.
Weiss and Hakan walked out onto the arena halls, taking a slow pace for more enjoyment.
"Does this bring back memories? When we used to walk the halls in secrete?" Hakan asked as he looked over towards his female companion, who raised a brow towards him.
"Walk the halls together? No, no, I remember someone always disappearing whenever we tried to hang out with you guys! It was always Maple, Clarline, and Solitaire around, yet you were nowhere to be found.
"Oh, I was that hard of a person to find, huh? Well, what about that time when you were holding a blue flower alone in the courtyard?"
"Pfft, what? What are you talking about?"
"Oh, now you can't remember?" Hakan playfully bumped into her, with Weiss overly reacting, stumbling towards her right, hitting the wall. Pushing off the wall, the two continued their walk towards the exit of the colosseum. The cool air hit their faces, squinting from the slight blow of the wind. Weiss looked over the snow-covered floating city, the icy wind piercing their skin, making her hair flutter in the wind.
"Hey, why are you here?" Weiss asked, lightly pushing her hair back from the wind. Hakan said nothing, looking off towards the city before him, then turning his attention towards the white-haired princess. A smile shined bright from the sun's light. It was hypnotizing, making him lose focus for only a slight second.
"Hmm?" The assassin let out a sigh as he walks forward towards the railing, leaning onto the steel side. "You, I came back to get you out of here."
"Me?" Weiss raised a brow while turning towards her lover.
"I heard from some people in Mistral that you were in town, then I heard of what happened with the white fang. The reports they gave were... less than what you'd expect, so I did some digging with some help and found out what your next move would be."
"Wait, you were there in Mistral?!"
"No... Not exactly, but yes, at the same time. I have friends across Remnant, so to speak."
"Oh? Mister anti-social himself has friends?"
"Where it counts, right? I mean, after all, you do have something important that I might have to steal," Hakan spoke in a slightly serious voice but kept a smile on his face, turning to see what her reaction was. As he thought, the lamp that Ruby had on her hip was a relic, one that the assassins trusted to Ozpin throughout his multiple lives. Weiss stiffen, her words splutter and couldn't find their meaning as she tried her best to explain a helpless situation.
"W-well, Y-you see, now wouldn't be the right time-"
"No use in hiding. You can't hide from me," Hakan leaned in and brushed Weiss's lips, sending a shiver down her spine. Then, instinctively lunging forward to feeling the sweet embrace she so desperately wanted to feel for over two years now. Not complaining, the assassin turned his body so she could lean more into him, pressing her hips against his as the passion increased. Breaking for air seconds later, they both gasped for air with a smile on both parties' faces.
"Hey, why'd you-"
"Sorry to interrupt," A voice caught both teenagers off guard, as they were too busy envelope with the other. "Hakeem, General Ironwood wants to see you," turning to the entrance of the hall they just left, Clover, the leader of the Ace Ops team, stood in the middle of it, a hand on his hip with a slight smirk.
"Right, I'll be there in a second," Hakan leaned in again, giving her a small peak on the lips. "I'll be back," Hakan said as he moved away from the white-haired princess, who giggled in response.
"You better."
"Oh, also, Weiss, Winter wants to see you."
"Looks like we both have something to do," Weiss said as she quickly joined them as they made their way back inside.
Shack, Happy Huntresses base.
"Hey Fiona, what happened on your little date? You've been rather quiet lately and blushing," Robyn Hill, the leader of their group called Happy huntresses.
"D-date?! I-It wasn't like that at all!"
"You seem to have taken it as such though-"
"No! I'm wonderful!" Fiona quickens her paste on her task as silence follows.
"Umm, Fiona?" May started breaking the silence with a raised eyebrow, catching the younger member's attention.
"Hmm?" Looking up from her work, she saw the two members stare in confusion and horror at what they saw. Looking down herself, it was a mess of a job than what she would normally do. "AHH! Oh no! I-I'll fix this!" Before she could make a move, Robyn Hill grabbed her shoulder. A slight smile on her face.
"I'm glad you're finally taking some light enjoyment for once. Maybe we'll have to call our friend over once in a while to see if he'd want to do it again."
"Yes! Please do-" covering her lips too late, she looks over to the shoulder Robyn has in her grasp and saw the light green work of her semblance. She has been had. There was no way she could lie her way out of this now.
"Hey, it's ok if you're in love, just don't let it get in between our work. So take some time off and find Joanna to take your place! This is an order!"
"Yes, ma'am!" Fiona let go of the shelf she was looking for and made her way out of the room.
"You sure that's a smart thing to do?"
"She wants to fantasize. Let her do it. We'll just carry most of the bulk until she gets her head straight," Robyn took a box and contained we're Fiona left off, followed by May.
Walking up towards the rooftop, Fiona let out a sigh as she opened the door, only to hear the sound of bones shattering from a hit. Looking up, she saw her ally Joanna Fly towards her. Holding her arms out as she landed into her, they both flew back onto the stairs, causing them to flip and turn from the momentum of the stairs. Landing on her back, Fiona groaned as she checked on her now unconscious teammate.
"JOANNA! Are you-" blood ran from her head, though the tall woman struggled to raise herself, upholding a smirk on her face.
"I-I'll be ok! g-get the bastard."
"Robyn! May! Come quickly. We have an intruder!" Fiona laid Joanna down before rushing up the stairs seeing a hooded man stair her down, brandishing one sword in his hand. Taking her crossbow staff out from behind her, she twirled it around before slashing diagonally in staff form.
Atlas, Ironwoods office.
"So, I've heard about the incident that happened in Mantle."
"Yeah, I figured you would've. So your gonna take me to jail?"
"As much as I'd like to say yes, you know that wouldn't go too smoothly for me," James chuckled as he stood up from his seat, walking over towards the younger man. "I'm glad your alive and well," he had a faint smile on him. It was one of pride. Hakan shared his smile and held out his hand for him to shake.
"Honestly, I've been through hell. You hear about what happened to us, right?"
"I heard what happened after the fall of beacon to the assassin's here, and all I have to say is sorry."
"That's not all. We were all whipped out. Not a single one of us left. Finally, after thousands of years, they broke our family tree!"
Ironwood took in a deep breath, yet no words form from his lips. Instead, he walked behind his desk and pulled out a folder, holding it out for the young assassin to grab it. "Take this... It's something you need to know and something I can't tell you for myself. I-I hope whatever decision you form from this... at least you'll be happy," a tear fell down his eye. Hesitantly Hakan chuckled as he grabs the folder.
"Jeez, Ironwood, your acting as if I'll react poorly to this."
"Inside the folder are directions to a terminal. One filled with orders and executed orders all written by me... And Jacques."
The sound of his girlfriend's dad's name made his smile disappear within a flash, slowly he looked up from the folder and stared daggers into the General's soul. Ironwood kept eye contact for a few seconds showing his strong-willed nature.
"Jacques? Jacques Schnee?" Hakan asked, clenching the sides of the chair but loosen it, letting out a breath. "I see, so these orders?"
"All in the terminal, I'm sure that you know I have guards there, handle them as you wish..."
"But-"
"Sir! Can I take Weiss out of training?" Winter walked through the door and saluted the general as she stood in the doorway.
"Yes, I'm sure you two have a lot to catch up to do. As for you, Assassin, after you see what's on the terminal... You'll be label as an unknown. Be careful once that time comes," Ironwood's voice was cold. Hakan got up from his seat, a little confused about the change in attitude from before, but it was clear the older man didn't want to form an attachment that was already there. The mention of Jacques put Hakan on edge, along with the way the general has his whole setup.
"General... Why... You knew this entire time, didn't you?" Hakan stood up and pushed his chair back, instinctively activating his hidden blade. Point it up towards to face James. The General said nothing but moved his eyes slightly, giving him the answer he needed. "I see... So I assume your part of the order yourself?"
"Yes..."
Seconds went by as the two waited for his next move, slowly he deactivated his blade and turned around.
"That explains how they were able to find me so quickly. I'll go check on team RWBY before I look into the terminal," Walking out, there was tension in the air that Winter could feel, though she doesn't understand what's happening.
"Sir?"
"It's... A personal matter."
"Are you making an enemy with him?" Winter asked with a worried expression
"No, not at all... Please, you're dismissed."
"Yes, sir!" Standing to attention, Winter walked out of the room, leaving the General to himself.
"I'm sorry, but there's so much I want to tell you... But if I do... He might associate you with me, and I don't wish to watch you die like that. Winter."
Happy Huntresses Hideout.
Robyn Hill's eyes barely stayed open as she looked onward, her opponent holding up Fiona by the throat.
"I see, so this is the top graduates of Atlas?" The hooded man dropped the sheep girl as she fell in slow motion.
"W-what do you want?!"
"I want... Hakeem, where is he?" The voice slowly changed while they turned towards her. Their voice changed from that of a man into a female. It was hard to make out as they took off their hood, revealing a female face with blond hair. Blue and green eyes gleamed in the light as she walked forward.
"Hakeem? W-why-"Before she could answer, the woman kicked her face in, knocking her unconscious. The blond girl let out a sigh as she looked down towards her scroll, seeing a missed call.
"Damn, wasting my time! If he's not with them, then..." The girl looked up towards the floating city called Atlas. "He must be there!" Walking towards the edge of the building, the unknown woman stepped off and made her way through the shadowsm going towards her former teammate, with malicious intent.
