Chapter 1
"That is absurd." Mespirit narrowed her eyes at Azelf's ridiculous idea. Perhaps she was one for using harsh and, quite frankly, grotesque, methods... but Mespirit was not!
"Hmm. Perhaps Azelf's approach warrants merit, however..." Palkia chimed in. He knew first hand what it was like to have those chains shackle his body and confine his mind. It was one of the most painful things he'd ever experienced in his long life, but nevertheless, that "brother" of his had without a doubt earned the right to be adorned in them for a very long time.
"Mespirit. While admittedly there are many other ways to go about this, Azelf's is the one that will end in the least amount of suffering. For the world's people." Uxie said.
'That's it. The wisest sister has spoken, and for once, she's siding with me!' Azelf thought enthusiastically. She felt a shred of remorse for Dialga in her heart, but that mindless tyrant that was off cowering in his tower was not her brother. He didn't deserve her remorse!
"W-well then," Mespirit conceded, albeit reluctantly, "Where will we go about acquiring it, then?" The clipped tone of her words betrayed her annoyance at the final decision.
Palkia ignored it, and held out his hand, which was emanating a soft glow. A map of a strangely awkward-looking land suddenly materialized on it, "The Renegade. If you'll recall, the chains were sealed with him in his land."
