A NEW WAR
Etienne maneuvered his Gundam effortlessly through space en route to Colony L-30 when Etienne asked,,,
"Kakarrot, the person who called me sounded like one of the females that we had ejected earlier who was giving Sire a hard way to go. Why does she hate him so much?" Etienne asked.
"I could ask you why that blonde girl hates you and wants your mate so badly?" Kakarrot asked in a soft voice.
"Relena hates everyone who are fighters, have ever been associated with any type of war or who have no interest in her. She hates me because Hiroshi loves me and I originate from one of the poorest colonies in U.C.A.P.," Etienne replied.
"Bulma hates Vegeta because he won't conform to being an Earthling even though he's a Saiyan. She's also the first human I met after my grandpa was killed and she adopted me, in a way. If Chi-Chi hadn't tricked me into marrying her, Bulma and I would have married. After we finish this skirmish, I'm returning to Earth and I'm gonna marry her. What about you boys? You know the reason Chi-Chi's been a bitch is because we left her to live on Little Vegeta. I suggest, Gohan, you return to Videl and Pan and Goten, you return to your mother," Kakarrot suggested.
"The hell I am! If you're gonna live at CapCorp and if Tregeta's gonna return to that woman along with Maigeta, I'm going with you," Goten nodded.
"I don't see why we have to give up the loves of our lives? We have as much right to love who our hearts are joined to. When we get back to Earth after this skirmish, I'm going back to Piccolo and the kids! I will not have some weak, punk-assed human female dictate my life! She did that when I was a kid, I'm a grown man and a Saiyan warrior! You can leave your mate if you want, dad, but I want to stay with mine," Gohan said firmly. "And as for Pan, she's happier now, living with Piccolo and the sprouts than she's ever been when we lived with Videl." Gohan decided firmly.
"Look, guys, I feel the same way, but I don't want Relana, Chi-Chi nor Bulma to keep hounding us because of our choices and our way of life. Plus...I'm afraid," Kakarrot admitted shyly and his sons looked at him with shocked expressions.
"Wait. It sounded like you, the hero of Earth and the known universe just said that you were afraid!? What the hell are you afraid of? You're the strongest being we know! You slaughter every enemy that threatens the planet and you have taken down some incredible beings! What...?" Gohan spluttered as he asked.
"I-I-I'm afraid to leave Earth! I'm afraid of the Saiyan way of life! I'm afraid of my mate and his ability to take on a female persona! I need time to adjust to the fact that I have a real family other than Raditz," Kakarrot sniffled.
The younger boys shook their heads and then Goten brightened! "What if we ask Vegeta if we could live on Little Vegeta for a year or so, teleport to Kale-Saiya until you get used to being around your native peoples. Gohan, Tregeta, Cilvanti, Pan and I are super excited to be able to become acquainted with your side of the family, but I think Vegeta would understand your need to come to grips with the situation," Goten nodded and Kakarrot nodded as he thought about the suggestion.
It wasn't that Kakarrot hated his mate, the prince, it was just the Saiyan race was so strange and vastly different than what he was used to, but then...If his prince agreed to Goten's suggestion, the large fighter could warm to the idea of the Saiyan race and his own relatives and then he may be able to leave the planet. Maybe he was just so used to being the planet's protector that he couldn't fathom that the Earth, now, had hundreds of other heroes to protect it. That he felt unwanted and that left him with the confusion he was fighting with now.
"That sounds like a plan, son. I do love Vegeta more than anything and I really don't want to be subjected to a Chi-Chi clone. All right, let's go kick this war in the ass and get back to our soul mates!" Kakarrot smirked.
"ATTENTION, APROACHING CRAFT! YOU ARE ENTERING RESTRICTED AIRSPACE BELONGING TO DANNER BASE, L-30! IDENTIFY YOURSELF!" a deep tinny voice sounded over the com-link of Deathsythe 2.5.
"Roger, Danner base. This is Mobile Suit Gundam Deathsythe Hell 2.5, Pilot Etienne Yuy from Earth. Four souls aboard. Requesting permission to land," Etienne requested.
"FOUR SOULS! CAN'T THOSE DICKHEADS ON THE HOME PLANET GET ANYTHING RIGHT! WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ANNIHILATION HERE AND THEY SEND US JUST FOUR FIGHTERS!? SOMEONE WILL HEAR ABOUT THIS! PERMISSION GRANTED! THE BASE IS LOCATED IN THE LARGEST BUBBLE OF THE COLONY! WE WILL MEET YOU ON DECK!" the tinny voice, that was now incensed, permitted the landing.
Etienne skillfully maneuvered the giant robot vessel towards the largest bubble of the colony that then opened to admit the new arrivals. On the inside of a vast hanger, there was a flurry of activity and excitement. The crew had heard of mighty robots called Gundams that had won the colonial wars with pilots younger than the wife to one of their own crack pilots.
"Man, Gundam Deathsythe Hell How awesome is that?! I wonder if he can get the other pilots here?" one of the crew members asked and received a hard look from the chief mechanic.
"All right, you band of miscreants, we'll meet him and his guests when they land," the chief admonished as he tried to restore order to the repair center.
"But Pops, this is a moment in history! We might never get this chance again to meet a true life Gundam pilot!" one of the mechanics extolled.
Pops, as the elder mechanic was addressed by his juniors and many others within the base, shook his head and marveled at how easily the young kids became obsessed with war heroes. Danner base's own super robot pilot was also a target for that admiration. Nonetheless, the occupants of the base exited their posts to watch as the mighty black robot fighting mech descended to the landing platform. Suddenly, everyone yelled and gasped in horror as a Mimetic beast launched itself from the water and straight into the belly of Deathsythe Hell.
"Oh, you did not just do that! If you so much as scratch the paint, I'll rip you apart!" Etienne snarled as he deviated from his landing trajectory.
At the same time, Kakarrot and his sons Ited from Deathsythe and began charging one of their most powerful attacks: the Kamehameha. In unison, the four warriors attacked the beast and it exploded, however, being the seasoned fighters they were, they knew that would not be the only attack. After destroying the beast, Etienne continued his landing procedure while Kakarrot and his boys stood and watched.
"WOW! That was amazing! How did you guys get outta the ship like that and fire energy from your hands?" one of the female mechanics asked, her grey eyes wide and mouth agape in wonder.
"Oh, well-" Kakarrot began but Gohan silenced him and shook his head.
"No, dad, I don't think these guys are ready to hear that Earth harbors extraterrestrials," Goahn admonished in a whisper, then turned to the gathered crowd as Etienne had completed his landing and was, at that moment, exiting and descending from Deathsythe Hell.
"Welcome to Danner Base, L30, I'm Commander Kagemaru. We've been sending SOS for months begging for help with these monsters and no one ever responded. How did you find out?" the base commander explained.
"Months? We only just learned about this skirmish! How long have you all been fighting those things?" Etienne inquired.
"Seven years! You kids were impressive! Where did you learn to expel energy like that?" another junior mechanic asked with wide eyed wonder.
"Let's go get something to eat, huh? That was a long trip," Gohan intercepted before his dad could reply.
Commander Kagemaru nodded then led the fighters into the base and ordered meals for their visitors then ordered the mechanics back to work, however, one brown haired girl hung back to inquire...
"Are there anymore fighters like you back on the planet or are you it?"
"There are several scores of fighters like us," Goahn replied.
"Why did the ESUN just send us four persons? We've been sending them messages informing them that we needed another fifty or more fighters as our fighters can't keep going the way they are. Plus, these creatures reproduce by ingesting males," the commander explained.
"Ingesting males!? That means some of the other pilots can't come to our aid, but we do have warriors who can help. Etienne, radio the Island and tell them of the situation," Kakarrot nodded and Etienne took hold of a com-link attached to his weapon's belt. "Gohan, Goten, you guys call to your mates and get them here and I'll contact mine and ask him to bring the Saiyan army," the large Saiyan nodded to the boys who did as instructed, then Kakarrot felt along the bond he had with the prince. 'Vegeta? Vegeta, can you hear me? I'm sorry for the stupid way I've been acting lately-'
'Kakaraku? What is it?' the prince asked.
'Gohan, Goten, Eteinne and I were sent to Danner Base on L-30. They are fighting an enemy I have never seen before that devours human males in order to reproduce. The fighters here are overwhelmed and severely outnumbered. Can you gather as many of our fighters who are hungry for battle to come lend a hand?' Kakarrot requested.
'Saiyan are always hungry for battle. We'll be there in a flash, then you and I have to talk,' he prince replied.
After agreeing with the prince that the pair did have to talk, the pair closed their mental conversation so that the prince could gather warriors to fight the menace in space.
Back on earth, Vegeta met with Sakyo and informed him the he was taking a number of fighters with hm to assist in the fight on L-30.
"I'll register any new fighters and teams that wander in or enter in from other dimensions. Good luck, my friend," the high powered business man nodded and the two parted ways.
Vegeta headed to the arena where he knew his people were gathered in battle or watching, waiting their turn. Noting that the center arena was clear, the prince mounted the surface and raised his hand to halt the fighting.
"I hate to interrupt such a joyous occasion but I have just received word from Kakarrot that he, his sons and Etienne were sent into a battle on Danner Base Colony, L-30. The colony has been overtaken by some sort of enemy we have never encountered before. My mate told me that the enemy ingests human males in order to reproduce. As we are not human, that goes for the Makai children as well, we have the greatest chance to defeat this threat. Whoever wants to join the battle, you have two hours. Meet back here in two hours and we will transmute onto Danner Base," the prince announced and received a boisterous round of cheering.
"Might we join you? We have been itching for battle, ourselves and have heard of this tournament, so we decided to investigate," a high-ranged male voice said from below the arena.
"Sir Meliodas, is that you and the Sins, as well as, a select few holy knights?" a deeper male voice inquired.
"Well, Kurama, looks like anyone can come fight. Princess, where did you dig up these human encased apparitions? Hiei asked as he spied Celstina.
"I felt we would need more assistance once the planet destroyer made his appearance, I never thought we would be heading into a practice battle, Everyone, get checked in, then we will meet Prince Vegeta back here to join the fight off world," the winged princess instructed the fighters she had brought with her then moved to address Vegeta. "Your highness, those are the best magic wielders I have ever encountered and will be a huge asset to any cause," she smiled and the prince nodded in thanks then they pair parted to ready for the upcoming battle.
Two hours later, the warriors gathered in the arena and Vegeta, Tregeta, Piccolo and Hiroshi all contacted their mates to find out the best place to instant transmute so as not to scare the life out of the humans who worked on the base and were told of a large clearing outside of the base where Kakarrot and the others would meet them. Following the communication, Vegeta instructed the new warriors to gather very closely, then those fighters that knew the Instant Transmission move concentrated on their partners, then and the entire gathering disappeared from Earth and reappeared in the directed location. Once the warriors appeared at the prescribed location, the prince took a look around at the warriors he had with him. In addition to the human-like warriors, the prince noted a number of Vencentian warriors along with four or five Araknian beings.
"Glad all of you could join us. Let's go find these things and wipe the colony with them," the prince declared.
"We'll first report to the base commanders then join their fighters wherever we are needed," Kakarrot suggested and the prince told him to lead the way and the group took to the air, careful to stay out of radar detection.
Landing at the base, the four warriors who had been sent to fight at first led the others to the commanders' area.
"Commander, these are the fighters I was telling you of," Kakarrot spoke and the commander and crew turned to acknowledge the new comers.
"Wel-I know you! Aren't you partners with that delicious businessman, Tagoya Sakyo?" a brigt red haired female with a voluptuous bosom asked when she spied Vegeta.
"We are business partners. I am Areus Vegeta and before you ask, we are not affiliated with that treasonous group known as ESUN. We are part of a new organization called the United Coalition of Allied Planets. That includes colonies, as well. Unlike ESUN, we will eliminate this threat from the universe," the prince nodded and smirked at the bemused look in the commander's eyes.
"Commander, Mnetic beasts just appeared in the outer arm of the colony from the base and are heading to the habitation area!" a blue haired young lady announced from behind a hi-tech computer screen.
"We must not let those things get near the habitation! Any hint of male hormone and those things will increase their number! What makes your fighters superior to the ones that serve on this colony?" the red headed female asked.
"We may look human but we are not. Our hormones are not the same as humans. Just tell us where and we'll do the rest!" Gohan informed the Danner crew.
The female red head, whose name was Dr. Kiriko Aoi, drew the new fighters' attentions to the jumbo sized computer screens and pointed out the locations of the monsters the crew had been fighting for several years. After memorizing the location of their enemy, the warriors left the command center, divided into groups then flew off to engage in a new war, however, only after Vegeta had requested that a few fighters remain at the base.
"Listen, these fighters are not human, in the sense you people are. Vegeta and his people come from another planet, the young looking blond man and his friends are called holy knights and are magic users as are the number of demi-gods that came with us. There are also a number of Makai spawned apparitions. There's a lot of power out there. Those beast stand little to no chance of surviving this battle," it was young Ciel Phantomhive, who explained about the various fighters.
"You will see many strange occurrences as the fights commence. Your remaining fighters will be protected from being devoured," Lady Une chimed in.
"But most of the fighters are males and the beasts infect anyone with high male hormone levels, females included," Dr. Aoi fretted.
"Our dads don't worry about such things. Being allies to Vegeta and the others is a major asset," Quatowa, one of Quatre and Trowa's children spoke.
All conversation ceased when a huge explosion was heard in the command center and the crowd looked to see that the battle had begun in a huge way. Those gathered in the command center and those in the maintenance area, gasped in awe as their eyes met sights they could not believe! Giant apes and gorillas, glowing fighters, energy blasts, trees and plants transformed into weapons, a pair of giant foxes-one with a protruding abdomen.
"What are these creatures?" one of the occupants of the command center gasped.
"That's Sir Meliodas, he's a flesh covered demon from the demon race, the silver fox and the red fox both come from the Makai, as does the black caped swordhandler, Hiei. Sebastian, the one in the butler attire, is my man-servant, the giant apes are the Saiyans," Ciel listed.
"They are amazing! As long as they are fighting for us, it doesn't matter what they look like!" the base commander smiled as the group continued to watch the battles.
Transfixed by the spectacular battle ensuing, the occupants of Danner base stared wide-eyed and open mouthed. No sooner did the beast attack, the warriors pushed back. The fighting prevailed for many hours, until the beasts seamed to have disappeared, however the warriors were used to their enemies pretending to surrender, only to attack in greater force. The lull allowed the fighters to get some rest. As the fighters made their ways into a common area on the Danner Base, Vegeta was in deep thought.
"A million zenny for your thoughts, my prince?" Kakarrot asked as he walked beside the prince.
"Just a thought that maybe music might help in calming these monstrosities so that we can destroy them all at once," Vegeta voiced.
"I think that's a great idea, sire! I have my violin stored in Sand Rock and I believe that Trowa has his flute in Heavy Arms," Quatre smiled in agreement.
"Is this a boys only party or can anyone join in?" a very female voice sounded from nowhere, however, the warriors smiled in recognition.
"Join us, Celly, please! The more fighters the merrier! These beast..." Kurama began but was waved silent.
"I know about these beasts. I came to removed them from existence and return those the beasts have swallowed to their mortal forms," Celstina smiled. "Gather your instruments, start the concert and I'll take care of the rest," the winged Cesltial remarked and the fighters nodded. "Oh, if you play ard and heavy music, that seems to short circuit, that seems to short circuit their nervous system and renders them immobile," Celstina informed the musicians.
Vegeta told all those of the fighting party that desired to participate in the universe's largest concert to prepare their instruments. At the prince's nod, the musicians broke into the strains of an old Earth song called 'ENTER SANDMAN', by an ancient heavy metal group called Meallica. Following that number was a litersl playlist of heavy metal and heavy rock music.
Those of Danner Base stood transfixed as their enemy froze, vibrated then exploded! How could such strident music, if it could be called such, bring such swift destrucion to an enemy that took the Danner fighters ages to kill? The Danner crew would ask once the battle was over.
Holding up his right fist to signal an end to the concert, Prince Vegeta and seveal others scanned the area and shook their heads to say that the beasts had vacated the area, at least for the time being.
In a basement laboratory, a young being with a hidden tail watched the action in shock and awe. Could the vast majority of these beings beof the same race as himself? Only one way to fins out. He would ventre out from the lab and ask their leader.
