During the struggle for the infinity stones, Thanos is aggravated by Peter Quill and Thor using sexist insults. Because of this, when Thanos snaps his gauntlet he is too distracted and accidently wishes half of the Universe would swap genders instead of die. Now Thanos, the Avengers, and all of the Marvel Universe must find a way to undo Thanos' wish while dealing with new issues.

For superheroes, life just goes a little bit differently. However, they have to deal with small problems as well. Lab accidents, personal style questions, shopping trips, and Tony, who doesn't know when to stop asking questions, as well as Loki, who has to find his footing in Midgard. Salem didn't want to be a superhero, hating the fact her father was one. She attended boarding schools simply because she was a Stark. With missiles targeting her school and a hidden agenda of HYDRA turning up, Salem had a sudden show of unknown powers forcing her father and the attentions of the Avengers onto her. Having a friendly neighbourhood spider did help the transition.
