When a Manaphy becomes really sick out in the wild and needs to be taken care of, a local Chimchar of Veilstone City takes it upon itself to help out and do whatever it can to help the legendary recover. However, over time, a new type of sickness starts to take over that neither one of them would imagine having.

In the world of Pokemon, there is always something new to experience. Whether it be a fateful encounter with a legendary Pokemon, watching the Pokemon League for the very first time, or even catching Pokemon out in the wild, people and Pokemon often create new experiences on a daily basis. However, some experiences can be life changing or even subtle, and relationships can blossom and wither out, sometimes on a whim or by chance. Today, we will be diving into such a story; a tale of how two Pokemon, though complete opposites, ended up forming a romance for each other due to weird circumstances.
