Heya! I'm back with a new chapter. I really hope you're enjoying the story so far xD
"Wake up, wake up!" Tyson heard a frizzy voice as he gently opened his eyes.
"What's up…?" Tyson retorted feebly. He slowly looked above him, which had the clock reading itself as four-forty-nine. Incredulous, his lungs filled up, ready to rage all out. "Have you guys completely lost it? It's five in the morning!"
"Quit your bellyaching," Hilary whispered. "We're in real trouble!"
Tyson passed on a perplexed look. "Trouble? Why is that?"
"Buddy, have a good look outside the window once," said Ray. "Check your bey out too."
Tyson pulled out dragoon from under the blankets. It was lustrous.
"It's glowing!" He exclaimed. "And what's outside?"
Tyson got up to the aperture before he spout out a loud gasp of intimidation. "What the- what in the world is going on?!"
What was witnessed was a gloomy sky, as though a story depicting complete melancholy, with four large rays of red, blue, white and sparkling-green displaying vertically far away from the hotel.
"What do you think this means, guys?" Max interrogated.
"Your guess is as good as mine, pal," Tyson said worriedly.
"If your beys are shining, then it's got to something with the jet arrays!" Exclaimed Kenny, shooting up from the bed.
"Hit the nail on the head, yet again, the chief, as they call you," piped Tiara. "But have another careful look which will certainly clarify Kenny's statement. To hint it out, look at the colours of the rays."
"I see it!" Yelled Hilary, after a few seconds, holding her fists close to her heart. "If you look carefully, red depicts Dranzer for the most obvious reasons, blue depicts Draciel because it's a water-type, white describes Dragoon and the sparkling green electricity describes none-other than Driger!"
"Exactly," declared Rosa. "We need to reschedule our manouevre. I contacted Austin and now, he's going to send us the submarine directly. We can't go via cruise anymore."
"So this is like an emergency now huh?" Blurted Tyson. "Just great."
"Let's get going," said Kai calmly.
"Right!"
Tyson immediately changed into his regular clothes. The teams together ran out for the harbour. Tyson gushed through them all, tightening his gloves, ready to take on head to head.
"Which way is the harbour, Mike?" Hilary asked him, hastened, careful not to eye Tiara.
"Don't worry about it," Mike panted. "Just follow us."
"Honestly, would you keep your trap shut for once? You're one of the most annoying lassies I've ever come across!" Remarked Tiara, much to Hilary's dismay.
"Maybe you're the one who should just stop being so jealous!" Said Hilary, answering back at her, vexed.
"Jealous?!" Snapped Tiara, looking behind her shoulders as she was running. "Why the heck would I be jealous?!"
"Well, I'm not sure," smirked Hilary. "The amount of attention you give me really shudders me down in pride."
Tiara snarled to her fault. "Why you little minger-"
"Quite down!" Interjected Ray. "The best of the two worlds is to work together so we all can survive for good!"
Huffing in resentment, Tiara dragged her heels, ceasing the marathon. She turned back sharply at Hilary. "Work together! My foot!" The holler caused everyone to gape at her. "For the first time, I can't figure this out! How in heaven is someone who can't even blade useful to us?! Everything is better off without you! To be blunt, whether you're here on this excursion or not, it doesn't make a difference to any!"
The truth hurt Hilary. Refuting to admitting it, she had to stand by Tiara's point. There was no use of her being there. She can't blade, nor does she have a bit-beast. So why was she there?
That's when Tyson, although dating Tiara, couldn't resist coming to Hilary's defense. "Watch it, Tiara! Looking at Hils, I think I could answer your question on her behalf."
Mike, Rosa and Allen were completely speechless.
"I don't care what the others think. But thanks to your question, it prompted me to realize how much Hils means to me, so listen very carefully."
All the attention diverted towards Tyson. Hilary was astonished at Tyson's defense.
"Hmph!" He scoffed. "Yeah, it's true, Hilary can't blade at all. Pretty surreal, huh? Seeing a non-blader on a top-notch team being addressed as one of the most useful members? But that's not what matters.
Hilary's known to bring up smart ideas and believe it or not, many of them have really worked out for the best. Without her, I'm sure we'd have a lag. If it wasn't for her, I would've been a total burden to Hiro, because he'd have to double or even triple his efforts to keep me in line. You could guess why.
She coached us, made us practice and revamped our ego-rooms by reducing it into half. She was also the glue which always kept this team to together no matter what. She always looked out and cared for me. I couldn't ask for more, dude. She always made us feel better."
"Tyson…" Hilary quavered, nearly breaking down.
"Do you have any counters, Tiara?" Said Ray, grinning.
Tiara stood on her with her jaw fallen. "I- am not going to believe that! That's impossible! And for an important note, a non-blader can really see bit-beasts?"
Tyson chuckled. "Now, do you really want me to elaborate on her determination? It's way out of your league!"
"Whatever then! That's not really going to change my behaviour towards her, but I'll vote out your points as valid. Let's get going!" She concluded, running off.
"Before that," a voice called.
Tiara halted, looking back at Tyson.
"I think I wanna cut off yesterday's decision."
Tiara gasped. "But you told-"
"I know how you feel. But you need to understand that it's playing with my feelings as well."
"What's she talkin' about?" Whispered Hilary to Kenny.
"Ah, nothing important, Hilary," retorted Kenny. "Don't worry about it."
"Accepted then." Tiara said reluctantly. "Let's concentrate on ahead now, come on!"
They all continued. Hilary tried to catch up at Tyson's pace for a few exchange of words.
"T-Tyson," she quavered.
"Huh?" He retorted, looking beside her.
"Uh- thank you," she said softly, turning slightly scarlet.
Tyson scoffed a sweet grin. "I wish I would've told you that earlier. But you're welcome anyways, Hils."
