life with a four year old and two newborn babies was exhausting, they both loved it but it was exhausting.

now FINALLY after nine hours the twins and Zinnia were finally asleep. they were all in the big bed together Zinnia was in the middle of them and totally passed out Willa and Eliza were each holding a baby.

River looked up at Eliza. "she's still awake?" Willa asked sightly amused by the situation. "yeah at least she's not crying." Eliza said rocking the baby in her arms. River made an upset face and started to whine "oh no."

as if a swticth had been flipped or turned on River lost it and started screaming, and of course that woke up the other two, so now Winnie was crying too. Zinnia blinked taking in her surroundings then put her hands over her ears. "that's really loud mama"

Eliza looked at their oldest daughter "I konw baby, i'm working on that. " Eliza kissed her on the forehead then looked down at the baby in her arms. "hey Wil do you think?'

"yeah, i think it's that time again" Eliza passed River to Willa, Willa was holding both of them now, soon the crying stopped. Zinnia sighed and crawled into Eliza's lap "why do babies cry?'

"well kiddo just like when you were a baby you were so little and you couldn't talk yet, so if the babies need something crying is the only way to tell us." Willa explained

"oh" Zinnia said thinking, "did I cry a lot when I was a baby?'

Eliza smiled "you did actually, you were a real handful. But I think most babies are."

Zinnia smiled "tell me about the day I was born"

Willa smiled "you've heard it a thousand times!"

"Please Mommy?"

Willa sighed and smiled "ok"

"well on the day you were born it started off as any other day.."

4 years ago..

"Willa i'm going to be fine. Your the pack leader you should go"

Willa sighed "fine but you better call me if the baby comes."

"I will"

"ok" Willa kissed her then she bend down to kiss her belly "bye baby, be good to mama ok?"

a few hours later..

Willow came and found her. "hey um.. I think Zira told me- Eliza's.. aunt Willa Eliza's in labor."

Willa looked at her "are you sure?'

"Zira said her water broke"

"so then I ran as fast as I could to get to the hospital" Willa said "hold on just a second I think these two are done" Willa got the burp cloths and handed one to Eliza, Eliza took River from Willa and started patting her on the back to burp her.

"ok like I was saying I finally got to the hospital..

Willa burst in. "hi babe"

Eliza sat up "did you run all the way here?" she asked, her eyes smiling "yeah I did, what kind of partner would I be if I missed the birth of our first child?' Willa smiled

Eliza gripped Willa's hand "I don't think you'll have to wait long ether"

"did I hurt you when I was coming out?" Zinnia asked

not wanting to scare her, Eliza said "it was just a little pressure, it wasn't that bad"

"oh that's good!"

Willa gave Eliza a knowing smile.

in reality it hurt, A LOT.

even more so the last few moments before she was born. "you can do this baby" Eliza pushed again "I don't think its ever coming out!" Eliza groaned "one more big push" when Eliza pushed that time she felt like her guts were being ripped apart, then she felt like something had torn.. yep she was gong to need stitches down there.

slowly but surly she could feel the baby slip out of her. Eliza fell back on the bed she was exhausted but happy. Willa smiled and kissed her forehead. Zinnia was laid on her chest Eliza smiled "hi baby, your so beautiful i'm always going to take care of you I promise." she whispered.

"and then you came, you were such a beautiful little baby and now your such a beautiful little girl" Eliza smiled Zinnia grinned hugging her mama. Both babies spit up and burped Willa put them in there bassinet.

Zinnia was cuddled up in between her moms. "Can I sleep here tonight?"

"mmmm.. ok why not?' Willa said "yay!"

"but that means you have to go to sleep missy" Eliza smiled "I will!"

after about 30 seconds Zinnia was asleep. "I love you" Zinnia whispered to her moms. "we love you too baby" Willa said kissing her on the forehead.

"well that was crazy"

"yeah but I like it" Willa said

"I love our life"

Eliza smiled "me too, I love that your in my life."

Willa smiled "me too"
