Final chapter.

(Silver's POV)

While I watch him getting pecked and attacked by a pack of pigeons, he managed to scare them away with his chest fur on fire.

"Extremely annoying that I'm gonna burn your wings off, boy!" Iblis was beyond angry.

"I find it amusing! It seems you hate feathered wings!" I smirked while flapping in the air to hover.

"And for that, you'll perish!" Iblis flew after me and I started to fly.

I searched for Sonic or Shadow to distract him so that I can think of how to lure him into the catacombs. He can't enter Notre Dame because demons can't cross it or they'll turn to dust. I hear that it's holy and because churches are from God.

Eventually, I found the two, "Hey guys. I need your help." I flew down to land.

"Silver?" Sonic and Shadow turned to see me.

"I know you thought I disappeared but I'm here. I found our monster friend." I pointed at him coming towards our way.

"Iblis? Now we're talking!" Sonic shoots himself up like a ball to spindash at Iblis.

"Wait!" I hold him back with my telekinesis, "The real plan is to lure him the catacombs." I released him.

"Fine by me. Hey, lava face! Over here!" Sonic lured Iblis by making him chase us.

"Where the hell are we gonna find the catacombs in this modern era?" Shadow running with me.

"Cemeteries. And there's one in Paris. Père Lachaise Cemetery" I said.

"You know your stuff. Let's go." Shadow said.

"BURN!" Iblis fires a stream of flames.

In the blink of an eye, the flame missed us but it caused the fire on the car to explode.

"We better get there quickly!" Sonic said.

"It seems your aim hasn't improved" I taunted Iblis.

"It will eventually once I rip those wings off your back!" Iblis yelled.

"Come and get it!" I ran with the boys straight to the largest cemetery in Paris.

"Now what?" Sonic asked.

"I'll distract Iblis as long as I can while you two find a secret passage that leads to the catacombs." I flapped and went to deal with Iblis, "Ready for round two?!"

"Round two will be your funeral! How silly of me, you won't have a funeral because you'll burn!" Iblis said.

"And miss out all the fun?!" I glared and clashed my sword against his.

"Killing innocent souls is my fun, child!" Iblis laughed.

"Well, mine is destroying guilty ones!" I responded and slashed at him.

I saw Sonic and Shadow finding a secret passage disguised as a tomb, "Keep going guys!" I told them.

"You heard him! Keep moving!" Shadow ordered Sonic.

"Right." Sonic jumped into the gateway and Shadow followed as I charged a light attack to blind Iblis to escape.

"Agh! That's enough light shows!" Iblis got blinded.

"Bon voyage!" I flew into the passage.

"Now what?" Sonic asked.

"My Gabriel horn. If I can weaken him, there's a chance I'll get close to stabbing his heart. Wait for my signal." I gave the sword to Sonic.

"What's the signal when I toss the sword to you?" Sonic asked.

"Blowing my horn but you won't be able to hear it but me. Here he comes! Go hide now!" I said as they hid in the tunnels with dead skeletons.

"You can't hide forever Guardian Angel!" Iblis yelled.

"Who says anything about hiding? I just like to annoy you to death and hell." I laughed while being hidden so he can get down here.

"Enough with your jokes and puns, boy. When I'm done with you, that cathedral is next!" Iblis came down which made his flames burn the dead skeletons.

"I won't let you burn it!" I yelled.

"Then you die first!" He screamed.

Then I took the horn out, "Maybe music will cool you down!" I smirked as I blew the horn.

"Agh! Not that stupid horn!" He covered his ears from hearing the sound.

"Now!" I signaled Sonic.

Sonic got out from his hiding place and tossed me the sword, "Hey Iblis! See you in hell!" I drew the sword and flew toward Iblis as he flew at me too but I rammed the sword through him.

He screamed like hell that he can feel pain from my sword through his heart, "I'll….rip your….face off!"

I glared and shoved my sword hard until the blade came right through his back, "Next time if you're gonna kill someone, kill them! Don't stand there talking about it!"

He reaches to try to kill me but his whole body started to crack up in places, "DAMN YOU, ANGEL!" Iblis screamed before exploding.

I jumped out of the way before lava blood touched me. His body parts were like lava cooling down to rock.

"It's over." Sonic saw the remains of Iblis.

I saw myself glowing; which means everything and everyone's memories will get altered.

"What's happening to you?!" Sonic gasped.

"It means everything and everyone's memories will get altered and I go to my altered era in my younger body. There's a chance I might remember you all but you won't." I said as I'm dimming a little slow.

"Silver, thank you for everything," Sonic said smiling.

"You saved this world," Shadow said.

"Yes. Goodbye, old friends." I said my last words to them before the timeline changes.

Everything went bright and I woke up in the altered room that I never had. It's so futuristic and very highly advanced technology. Shadow?! He probably remembers everything because he's immortal and his memories of me as an angel are still there.

The halo is gone and my back shoulder spines are back. I checked to see if I can still fly which I can as I hovered. Well, the future is safe for now.

I got up from my bed and looked in the mirror that I'm a child as in 10 years old, I guess. Just like what I saw when I saved my younger self from Iblis.

"Silver, you awake?" I heard a familiar voice, my mother's.

"Mom?" I gasped that she is alive in this altered era.

"How's my boy?" She hugged me.

I have gotta make a fake truth since I have both timeline memories, "Uh, I felt like I was traveling in time." I said sheepishly.

"Interesting. Well, your father awaits." She said.

Shadow is my father; I hope he remembers my older self as an angel because that's what I saw when he remembered me coming from time traveling.

"Okay." I ran to where he awaits me. He was standing at the balcony looking over the city.

He hasn't aged a bit nor does he even look old, "Hello there, son." He saw me.

"Sha…I mean dad." I said.

"You nearly said my name. Which means your 14-year-old self is in a 10-year-old body." Shadow said.

"You remember? I thought everyone's memories got altered" I was amazed he still remembers.

"Ultimate Lifeform, remember?" Shadow reminded me.

"Right of course." I chuckled.

"And I lived to tell the tale." He pointed at the statue of me as an angel near the park.

"Whoa, just like my altered memory," I said.

"Yes. And I sure hope you'll meet Blaze again." He said.

"Father, is Sonic the 6th a descendant of the real Sonic?" I asked.

"Yes, he is. Amy Rose too." Shadow confirmed.

"I noticed. And Blaze is alive because she's from a different dimension that has no time." I said.

"Wanna go see her?" Shadow asked.

"Yeah, and I know where she is in my altered memory. It has to be the exact moment to make that memory exactly as it is." I said as I flew to where Blaze is.

Where are you, Blaze? I know you won't know me well but I remember how my younger self first met you and it's saving you from bullies.

"Get away from me you stupid rats! I don't wanna hurt you!" Blaze trying to get away from a group of mice that seems to be bullies. That's exactly what my memory looked like. How ironic that I thought cats eat mice. I gotta make this memory exactly as it is.

"Hey! Leave her alone!" I pushed them away with a psychic blast.

Blaze saw that I did that and she ran to me as a way that I'll protect her.

"You okay Blaze?" I asked.

"How do you know my name?" She said.

Whoops. I forgot that she doesn't know me because the time events from the past have been erased like we never met.

"Uhh….lucky guess" I lied and now glared at the mice, "Now you mice better start running because cats like her are predators that eat mice." I gestured to her to show how scary she is with her feline instincts.

She thought it was a ridiculous idea but a way to get the bullies to feel scared of cats like her. She hissed at the mice baring her fangs and claws like an actual kitty cat ready to chase her prey.

"Agh! What are you doing?! We mobians have human nature!" The mouse bully stammered.

"Warning you if you ever come near me again! Do you want your tails to get ripped off from me?!" Blaze warned.

"Run for your life before this cat eats you alive!" I laughed at this.

"RUN!" They freaked out and ran away.

"Phew. I don't even eat rodents. Again, how do you know me?" Blaze asked.

"Well, you look like someone I know." I lied but I have to admit it looks almost like the apocalypse timeline of how we met as 10-year-olds. Only this time it is like the second time we meet again in a different altered timeline.

"Well, what's your name?" She asked.

"Silver the hedgehog." I reintroduced myself to her.

"Princess Blaze." Blaze said.

"Oh, your majesty." I bowed to her playfully.

"No need to bow, Silver. I prefer to be more…civilian than royalty." Blaze said.

"Sorry." I smiled nervously, "Come, I'll show you around. It's great to have a friend that is a cat. I never met one until now" I said, though still a lie again.

"Well, I come from the Sol dimension." Blaze said.

The future has been better thanks to my past allies and my angel powers destroying the forces of evil from hell. But this time we'll have to deal with Eggman's descendant Nega. He's much crazier than his ancestor but we heroes will never fall.
