The young trainer narrowed his eyes on the Team Prism member, as the poacher and her pokemon follower stood waiting for him and Parsnips to make a move. The usual shy type grass pokemon was expressing visible anger for the villain and their pokemon, as Alabaster spoke tightening his gloved fist, "Parsnips! Tackle Attack." The small grass type charged the scyther, but to no success as the thing darted to the nearby tree and taunted the grass starter. This seemed to infuriate the young Bulbasaur as the guttural growl followed by a "SAUR!?" As the aggravated pokemon gazed up at the Scyther on the larger limb, it was the green bulb on its begin to slightly pulsate as the darker extremities emerged to reveal a pair of vines.

The grass type seemed to latch onto the limb and immediately catapult itself toward the Scyther force momentum as the Bug-Flying type bearly skirted the landed while scattering dust and grass particles in its trail. The bruised darker shade on its face seemed to aggravate the mantis-type pokemon as the hisss motion emerged followed by the pink-haired trainer exclaiming, "Scyther. Fury Cutter." The creature leaned back and angled its body in a near blur as it readied its extended polished blades before taking off similar to a fighter jet on an airstrip, before Alabaster could gutter up a recourse command response the Scyther flew from the scattered dust its razor-sharp extremities slashing away, as the small Bulbasaur caught off guard did its best to dodge or not be sliced by the blades as the small bulbed creature was sent flying back.

Alabaster immediately went wide-eyed as Parsnips took a serious thrashing from the furry cutter, let alone effective move of a Bug-type against a grass type. Grinding his teeth the fourteen-year-old watched as the woman clapped in a dramatic way, as the Bug-flying type taunted and waved its swords like a trophy, as the pink-haired poacher narrowed her obsidian eyes and began, "Do us a favor, stay down already." Alabaster held his pokemon as it persisted in fighting but holding Parsnips, he began, "Never!" With that Parsnips squirmed from his caring arms and wincing as it showed signs of darker off-green bruises alongside the bulb, as he turned to his pokemon partner and began, "you...sure buddy?" The grass type nodded its head and turned to face the Team Prism Member and her Scyther.

"Well...Well, look at the gumption at this one." The pink-haired Team Prism poacher exclaimed. It was that moment, Alabaster leaned forward and began, "Bulbasaur. Vine Whip." Before the trainer could get the last word out, Parsnips immediately lashed a wave of vines, which resulted from the Bug Flying-type immediately use its wings to hover off the ground and attempt to knock the vines with its blades, showing the attack had little effect. The poacher seemingly annoyed fixed her flat cap hat with the villain's insignia on the front with the green larger than the other colors. "Scyther! I grow bored of this, destroy the pest." It was then the Bug-Flying type immediately narrowed its dark eyes and crossed its blades as it waited, and the opposing trainer added under her breath extending her arm in a pointing gesture as she ordered. "Scyther. False Swipe!"

The opposing Scyther seemed to halt its movements, as it crossed its blades. Alabaster paused assessing the situation, as his cousin's words came into his mind. Marv's sage advice came to the forefront of his mind, as the words clung to his strategy," Cuz, Pokemon depend on us as we depend on them...trust them and they will trust you."

As the teen trainer put his faith in his pokemon partner, he concentrated on the strategy as he knew Bulbasaur had limited moves and this being its possible first battle for Parsnips, it was then the grass type waited for his commands as Alabaster exclaimed, "Parsnips. Hold your ground." Though the grass type peered back at him, and even getting a look from the pinked haired Team Prism Member to question his judgment as she motioned her arm toward the teen's pokemon and ordered. "NOW! Flase Swips!?" The immediate command averted the creature's statue-like state, as the creature seemed to glide off the ground in crazy speed, as the Bug - Flying-type soared through the grass and kicked up dirt like a freight train.

Immediately, Alabaster seized the moment and barked an order toward his pokemon friend, "NOW!? Dodge..." As the large dirt cloud covered the field, he immediately heard a cry from his pokemon partner and with that, a recoiling THUD and Scyther came tumbling backward toward the pink-haired woman, as the Scyther now was the one limping to stand on its own, as it began to heave labored breaths.

While the dust began to settle, Parsnips was in a small opening where several large logs from a tree now stood on the roadside with Parsnips injured but standing. Alabaster figured the large tree took the majority of the blows of the dual swords, however, the Grass Type Starter wasn't looking so hot. As Alabaster forced itself to its feet, it was the woman with the pink hair's turn to shout, "HOW!? False Swipe NEVER MISSES." The angered broiled words seemed to anger the villain, as their battle was suddenly interrupted by the sound of a blowing whistle and shouts from behind them. The Team Prism Member agent seemed to scowl at the oncoming noise as she immediately removed the dark obsidian metal Pokeball and returned him, as she bellowed "This isn't over twerp. You'll see..." With that, a mask covered the young face of the woman and tossed a pellet on the ground as a large smoke cloud sounded as it resulted in Parsnips and Alabaster shielding themselves and coughing. As the dust began to settle and the painful smoke bomb faded the place the Team Prism Member once stood with her own pokemon partner Scyther was gone and Parsnips injured.
