Kanji-kun was the same, but he did not relent and I learned that he had simply wanted a squad that would accept him as a male Operator.
Mitsuteru: Oh, I didn't know that.
Kanji: *puffs out chest* Seijin-san knows about entertainment, so I figured that there would be no better person to have as my captain! Even if he can't command to save his life, I still saw him as the best pick!
Mitsuteru: When you put it like that...
Oshiro: And of the others?
Seiji: Let's see... Asagi-kun and Shigeko came around the same time. There isn't much to say about it that wouldn't give some things away. Then there is...
Mitsuteru: Me. I came in last. and I only joined after Shigeko had told me to meet her squad. Until that point I had only been squad hopping.
SS: That's actually something that interests me about you. Your time with the other squads that weren't Taiyōko or Meishō.
Mitsuteru: Eh?
TAT: Really? First time hearing that one.
SS: *shrugs* No reason to say it since I know that you probably want to go more into that at some point.
TAT: Well, I can't really deny that one... Anyways. That can be enough for that question. We should be moving on now. So that comes up to Seijin himself.
Seiji: Hm? I had thought it was only that one.

Seiji: Those are interesting questions. Let me see... I suppose both answers are linked together for that one. *nods* One of them led into the other. Oh, sorry. I was thinking about that for a bit.
Yuki: *raises brow* Well you got our attention, for sure.
Mitsuteru: *looks at Kanji* Do you know these answers?
Kanji: *shakes head* Nope! I only knew that Seijin-san was an actor before joining Border. Nothing particular about him though.
Mitsuteru: Huh...
Seiji: You could always ask when you don't know something, Teru-kun.
Mitsuteru: R-right!
Yuki: So what's the story here?
Seiji: Well, the answer to the first question is an action movie involving an organization that was heavily inspired by Border itself. I had shadowed Arashiyama Squad for a bit to get a better understanding of how things were done. It was probably my biggest hit as an actor.
Kanji: Oooooohhhh! I remember watching that one! It had super high action, a nice plot, and didn't skimp on any character development!
Ketsueki: *nods* I had not watched it myself, but I had heard from others that it was a good movie. It also did nothing to mess with Border's imagine. I believe it even helped once it came out that it had been inspired by Border. Very good on you, Meishō-dono.
SS: Ah, that's right. Now I'm remembering it. Well, it wasn't like there was much to go off to begin with.
TAT: Yeah, so you should know what comes next.
Seiji: Once filming had finished, I had decided to retire and do something else. That was, of course, join Border. The job itself had interested me and I had gotten along well with Arashiyama Squad. I had thought that it would be worth a try for it.
Kanji: And now you have a squad of your own!
Seiji: Somehow. I had thought to be a solo agent for a time before trying to join a squad. I suppose it was my popularity as an actor that had others want to be in a squad with me.
Kanji: But I'm the one who won out and we formed Meishō Squad!
Seiji: Indeed you did.
Yuki: Even with how low your Command stat is. *shrugs* Guess I'm not one to talk, seeing as how I can only command and not lead. You've got your charisma to go off of.
Mitsuteru: Well I'm pretty glad that you joined Border. It gave the rest of us a squad to be a part of. Oh, but it would be nice to not deal with all of your fans...
Seiji: Hm hm hm. Sorry about that.
Mitsuteru: *waves hand*
TAT: Right, well then. With that one done, we can move on. And for that... *looks at SS*
SS: *nods & turns* Hey, Shiro.
Oshiro: Yes?

Seiji: It is an easy way to win for both sides, and a smart way to do it too. Simple, but effective.
Yuki: *smirks* Nice going there.

Ketsueki: *nods* Toshiro-san is an energetic and trigger-happy girl. No pun intended. She enjoys making terrible decisions due to her brashness. Her trion amount is rather high, so she can continue firing for a good amount of time, but she does had some tact and knows when strategy needs to be implemented. It is usually up to Yamada-kun to make sure she follows through with those strategies, though. She is rather hyper lot of the times, outgoing all of the time, and can be seen as crazy majority of the time. With that being said, she is a good person.
Eri: Why do I feel like Border has more than enough trigger-happy people in it...?
Kanji: Shigeko is kinda like that too, but she only gets like that when it involves the rest of us!
Eri: The fact she does it at all is proof enough.
Kitazoe: And about the other one?

Ketsueki: Yamada-kun is essentially the opposite of Toshiro-san. While Toshiro-san is hyper and energetic, Yamada-kun is calm and takes things step-by-step. He has great precision when sniping and can wait things out for the right moment. *looks over* In that regard, he is similar to Ariake-kun and Tonooka-kun. He is an introvert, but he does not seem to clash with Toshiro-san at all. Although that may be because they have been friends for some time now.
Nire: Hey, Mittsuncchi, how's it feel to be compared to someone like that?
Mitsuteru: Huh? Oh, it's...something? Not too sure. I know how I am already, so there isn't much to say about it. Besides, he also mentioned Tono there, so it's a comparison to the two of us and not just me.

SS: The fact he repeats those kinds of things as entertainment, to indulge others, or just because he doesn't like speaking up against those times. Basically, he won't speak up when there's something going against him and will let it happen, even if he ends up feeling bad about it afterwards. He'll take all the crap other shave to say about him in stride while in front of others, apologize for things when he shouldn't, tries to appease everyone without vocalizing his own thoughts, and just puts others before himself because it causes less trouble that way. It pisses me off to no end, but it's not something I'm going to hit him over. So I'll just be there afterwards, or get involved if it looks like it's turning into something big.

It usually takes a bit for me to realize where I am, and other times it requires me to make a call or for someone to call me to even realize that I am not even in Japan anymore. It is...honestly concerning to me. It terrifies me to think of where I could end up or how others react to my sudden disappearances.
Reiji: *pulls Ketsu in* It's fine. We know that you can take care of yourself, and you never seem to go without your Trigger. How you make it through customs, I don't know, but you always call us right away. So don't be hard on yourself.

All-Rounder and Captain of his squad. Minoru is one of the older members of Border together with Arashiyama, Miwa and co. Mostly known for his gentle big brother nature and the use of martial arts with his customized trion body. Twin brother of the former agent Mirai Hatohara and, to the surprise of many, significant other of Masataka Ninomiya.
He created the habit to give others he is close to a nickname, either from part of their name or something that fits them. You know when he is being serious when the nickname drops and uses their name instead.
Because of his connection to his former Operator and current squad members all relation to the German Branch of Border falls to him and his squad. So it happen quite often that they're being send to Germany.
It happens rarely but sometimes a few manage to get a glimpse of him devoid of all life in his eyes, yet not many know why it happens and Minoru makes sure it stays like that.
