I know guys... I know. I dropped off the face of the Earth. Let's just say that this year did not start off too well.

I hope you guys like this update.

TUESDAY NIGHT

Callie's P.O.V.

Getting home from the library, the day is finally starting to catch up to me, and I am utterly exhausted.

"Ahh, there she is wandering in at… 11:53 p.m." Addison smirks, standing from the couch clad in her pajamas.

"Aww, you were waiting up for me?" I smile, placing my bookbag down by the door.

"Of course! It was going on midnight and my best friend was not yet home. A girl can worry."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to stay out so late. Arizona and I were going over some stuff and then we started talking and before I knew it, it was 11 o'clock"

"Mhmm, what were you two talking about? The fact that you clearly want to bone each other?"

"Addie! Stop being so crude. We weren't talking about that."

"But I'll bet you were flirting up a storm." she laughs, "I'm telling you, Cal, that girl wants you. Bad"

"You think?"

"Seriously Callie? Yes, I see the way she looks at you when she thinks no one is looking."

"Well, she did invite me out to a party hosted by the football team on Saturday..."

"What?!"

"Is that a big deal?"

"Big deal?! Yes. it's a big deal. Arizona doesn't attend football parties. I can count on my hand the number of parties I've seen her at since freshman year and when she does go, she hangs with the guys most of the night turning down people left and right that try to get her to dance. So yeah, her asking you to go with her to a party is monumental"

"Wow, ok. Well, you're going to be there right?"

"Yeah, I was going to ask if you wanted to go but I know that you aren't too crazy about them either"

"Yeah, well I never had a good enough reason to go, now I do."

"Good! Now we have to find you something hot to blow that blonde bombshell's socks off."

WEDNESDAY EVENING

Arizona's P.O.V.

"Come on guys, we have a game in 3 days! I need to see more from you all." Coach Brett sighs. "Take a 10-minute break then we'll run a few more plays before wrapping it up for the day and I suggest you guys get it together or there'll be extra laps tomorrow."

Hearing the entire team groan as they walk to the side of the field, I can't help but chuckle. This is like a routine. Days before a game, coach always claims that we are not doing our best in practice so he threatens to add extra laps to our workout and then everyone plays well and we go home only to come back and do the same thing all over again. It never changes.

Grabbing a cup of Gatorade, I gulp down a little before pouring the rest out. Looking around, I frown because normally Duncan has come up to me by now with a towel. Only seeing Jeffery, the other towel boy, I walk over to him.

"Hey dude, can I get a towel" I smile

"Sure thing!" he smiles back, quickly handing me one.

"Thanks," I said, wiping my face and neck, "Can you tell Duncan that I'm looking for him?"

"Oh, he's not here today. Coach said that he asked to be excused for the rest of this week due to an emergency." Jeffery says and before I can respond, he gets called away.

'An emergency?' I think to myself, heading toward coach. "Hey coach"

"What's up Robbins?" he asks, writing something down on his clipboard.

"I noticed that Duncan isn't here today. Is everything ok?"

"As far as I know, he had an emergency but he'll be back next week. He didn't really want to give me any more than that so I didn't push it. I'm assuming that there may be a family thing."

Nodding my head, "Hmm, ok. Thanks, coach" I say, walking away. We practice for another 15 minutes before coach dismisses us.

"Hey Robbins, we're going to my place after this. You coming?" Mark asks, walking over to me.

"Can't" I tell him, "Callie and I are reviewing one last time for our test tomorrow" I tell him causing him to smirk.

"Have you gotten in her pants yet?" He asks.

"No, and I am not trying to," I tell him

"Oh come on!" he hits my arm, "You can't tell me that you haven't at least thought about it. I mean, I talked to her little friend Addison for a while but I definitely wanted to find out-"

"Ok, no. We talk about a lot, but Calliope is off-topic. We're not going there" I cut him off, knowing I probably would've hit him for whatever was about to come out of his mouth.

Throwing up his hands in surrender, he chuckles, "Damn, you must really like her"

Sighing, not stopping the smile that comes on my face, I nod, "I do. I really do Mark. She's, she's different from all the other girls that attempt to get with me"

"Well I hope that it happens," he says, patting my back before walking off toward the showers.

'Me too' I think to myself.

"Oh hey Mark," I said causing him to turn around

"You haven't seen Duncan around have you?"

Shaking his head with a shrug, he says, "Nah, you told me to leave him alone remember?"

And with that, he disappears around the corner.

THURSDAY

General P.O.V.

"Ok everyone, review time is over. Please put away ALL notes, electronic devices, and binders. The only thing that should be on your desk is 1 or 2 pencils. I do not want to see any calculators because there are no calculations. If there is anything on your desk that should not be there when I get to you, I will skip over you and you will not receive a test until after I have passed them out to everyone else. You may begin working when I give you your test and remember there is NO TALKING AND NO CHEATING. I will be watching." Dr. Bailey says, gathering the papers on the end of her desk.

Putting away her notes, Arizona takes a deep breath. 'I can do this. I've got this.' She thinks to herself.

Looking up, blue eyes meet a familiar brown pair. Smiling at the Latina looking back at her, it grows impossibly wider when she mouths, 'You got this.'

Throwing a wink back at the brunette, watching as she blushes, Arizona looks back down at her desk, once again going over the information in her head.

Finally receiving her test, Arizona glances back up at Callie who is already hard at work seeming to be writing down everything she knows.

'I got this, I got this.' Arizona says, reading the first question. 'Draw the structure for 3-ethyl-2,4-dimethylhexane.'

Smiling to herself, Arizona thinks back to the other night at the library when they were studying this exact thing. Callie had shown her a shortcut. 'Work backward'

Flashback

Sighing in frustration, Arizona puts down her pencil, "I don't know how much more of this I can take."

"Come on, we've been working on this for a week now and I'd say that you are definitely better than you were two weeks ago when we took the quiz. Wouldn't you?" Callie asks, placing her hand on the blondes to get her attention.

"I guess but Cal-"

"No, no. Don't start thinking negatively. This test is in two days and you are ready for it, Arizona. You're just thinking too hard about the question. Here, let me show you." Callie says, picking up another flashcard with an example problem.

"When you read the question, start slowly drawing it out, one by one, not altogether. That's how you make a mistake."

Grabbing a piece of scratch paper, she reads the question, "Draw the structure for 2,2,3,3-tetramethylpentane."

"So, first thing's first, we know that the ending tells how many carbons are in the structure. For this one, we have pentane which is..." the brunette trails off looking at the blonde expectantly.

"Five" Arizona smiles, rolling her eyes at the simplicity of the question.

"Hey, none of that." Callie laughs, "You are right, five. When you draw out the structure, always make sure you number them so you don't get confused" Drawing out the base of the structure, she continues, "Now, it says tetramethyl which tells you that there will be how many total stems coming off of carbon's?"

Nodding her head slowly, Arizona begins to understand what Callie is saying, "Four"

"Right, and the 2,2,3,3 just tells you where those methyl's go. Two are on carbon 2 and two are on carbon 3" she smiles, finishing the structure.

"See?"

"Ok, that one was easy. Knowing Dr. B, she's going to throw out something hella hard like 20,31-isotriethyl-4,9-metyldectane" Arizona says, causing Callie to nearly fall over in laughter which in turn causes Arizona to laugh too.

"Ok, there was so much wrong with that example but you're right, they probably won't be that easy but still if you just follow the same order with the harder ones, you'll still end up with the right result." she says, shuffling through the pile of notecards, "Here, let's try these."

"Essentially I am just working backward, right?"

Shrugging, Callie smiles, "Yeah, if you want to think of it that way."

End of Flashback

'Just work backward Robbins.' she thinks to herself.

After a few trials and errors, the blonde smiles down at the paper knowing that her answer is actually right!

Moving on to the next one, she sends a silent thank you to God for creating such a wonderful person like Calliope Torres. She knew that she had this one in the bag!

Meanwhile, Callie was almost finished with her test. Thinking to herself, she smiled as she worked on many problems that were like what she and Arizona had gone over during their study sessions.

Callie's P.O.V.

'Whew, that's finally over.' I think to myself, sitting my pencil down. Arizona was right, Dr. Bailey threw a few challenging questions on that test but I am fairly confident. I just hope that she won't think too hard about them.

Reviewing my answers, one last time, I grab my bag and stand to turn in my test. Placing it on the desk, Dr. Bailey smiles, "Why am I not surprised that you are the first one finished, Miss Torres?"

"Because you know that I have more pressing matters to tend to Dr. B." I joke.

Smirking, she says, "Ahh, the work of a president is never done"

"You would be correct" I smile, "Have a good rest of your day ma'am"

"You too," she says, going back to surveying the classroom. Dr. Miranda Bailey is a really great professor. I have had her for every one of my chemistry courses since freshman year. She's a hard-ass but in the end, you begin to appreciate it because it only makes you better in the long run. Each year, I have watched people be upset with her and try to fool her during tests like they aren't cheating, but she always, and I do mean ALWAYS catches them.

Just as my hand touches the doorknob, I hear her, "Mr. Wilson, do I need to come over there and see what is so interesting about the floor?" she asks, causing me to look back at one of Arizona's football teammates who has a deer in headlights look on his face.

"U-Uh no ma'am" he stutters, causing me and a few other students to chuckle. Shaking my head, I exit the room but not before I catch the eyes of one beautiful blonde and mouthing 'Good luck' to her.

Arizona's P.O.V.

Watching Calliope stand up only 45 minutes into the test, I can't help but smile and shake my head. 'Nerd'

I am so messing with her after this. Looking back to my test, I have now completed 25 out of 40 questions. Taking a deep breath, I get back into it.

I was totally right, Bailey threw in some tough questions but I have been doing my best to follow Callie's advice. So far, I am pretty confident that I will pass this test. There have been two problems that I am not too sure about but hopefully, I can get a few points or something.

35 minutes go by and I am closing my test packet. Looking around, I see that a few more seats have been vacated but there are plenty of people left in the room.

Just as I am reviewing my answers, Dr. Bailey's voice rings out, "You have ten minutes left on your test."

Standing, I grab my bookbag and paper, heading to the front of the room.

"Ahh, Miss Robbins, can I expect a better grade on this test than on your quiz?"

Smiling, I nod, "Yes Dr. B, I am confident that I have at least a B on this test."

"Good, I'm glad that you could get the help that you needed."

"Thanks again for suggesting Callie. She is awesome. See ya, Dr. B!" I tell her, turning to exit the room.

Once outside, I pull my phone from my bookbag seeing multiple messages from different people, but the only one that I care about is the one from the gorgeous brunette that has invaded my mind.

'You look so cute when you're "reviewing material". lol, Remember, don't think too hard about the questions.' 2:05, this was sent right before the test began. But there's another one.

'I know you rocked that test. Call me when you finish, maybe I can fit you into my schedule for a coffee *wink emoji*'

Quickly pressing the call button, it only rings twice before I hear her voice, "Well it's about time. I was starting to think that the test may have killed you" she says, the joking tone clear in her voice.

"Ha, ha very funny. You keep that up and I am not paying for your coffee"

"Oh? So you want to take me up on my offer?"

"Yes, that is if you can 'fit' me in your schedule"

"Hmm, would you look at that, I just had some time free up. Meet me at Brews in 15?"

"Make it 10 and you have a deal"

Laughing, she says, "Bye weirdo"

"Bye, Calliope" I smile, hanging up the phone.

FRIDAY

Callie's P.O.V.

"Ok everyone, it is now 6:20 p.m. the doors will be opening at 6:30. I want two people at the doors checking IDs. Any volunteers?" I ask, seeing Nathan and Amber's hands shoot up, "Awesome!"

'Awesome? Damn it Arizona.'

"Once 6:55 hits, if the crowd has died down, only one person will be needed at the door. After 7:15, no one else is to be allowed to enter. Jax, I want you to monitor the refreshments to be sure that everything stays orderly and sanitary. Sara you can take the station area just to make sure that everyone is grabbing only what they need. I will be walking around to see if there is anything you all need before we start. Any questions?"

Receiving heads shakes, I smile, "Well let's do this guys!" Looking down at my watch, it's 6:28. Alright, let's make our way to our stations."

6:30 strikes and we open the doors, watching as people begin to trickle in. "Hi, guys" I smile, "Thanks for coming out tonight!" I greet them as they walk past me, receiving smiles in return.

After 20 minutes, a voice reaches my ears, "Well, well, well fancy seeing you here."

Turning, I smile, "You came"

"I told you I would" Arizona smiles, leaning in for a hug that lasts a little longer than a friendly hug should.

Pulling back and looking at her friends, "I'll catch up with you guys in a minute. Save me a seat" she tells them before turning back to me as they walk away.

"Thank you for bringing some friends"

"You are very welcome. There should be more of them roaming around here too. I wasn't kidding when I said that some of them were actually being dragged here by their girlfriends." she says and we both laugh.

"Well, you have made plenty of girls here tonight, happy by your presence alone."

"Well, I only care if I make one person in this room happy and I am currently looking at her." she smiles, causing me to look away blushing. Noticing a few people watching us, my cheeks redden even more.

Looking at my watch I see that it is close to 7 p.m. 'Thank god' I think to myself.

"Well, I need to be going." I gesture over my shoulder, "Hosting a program and all"

"Sorry, I didn't mean to hold you up," Arizona says, scratching the back of her neck, looking away.

"Oh, no. No, you're not holding me up. I just, I just want to make sure that we start on time." I tell her, leaning to catch her eye. Placing my hands on her abs, I stand slightly on my tiptoes for my lips to reach her ear, "I'll be watching you" I whisper in her ear, kissing her cheek before pulling back, watching as a smirk adores her lips. Shaking my head with a smile on my face, I turn, heading toward the front of the room.

"Now if you'll give a round of applause for our amazing president, Callie Torres!" Jax announces and I walk up to the mic laughing at the obnoxious hooting and hollering that is apparently coming from the football team.

"Hi everyone!" I smile, "I hope you all have come with your artistic hats on because we have a treat for you all." I smile at the few people who, again, begin to cheer.

"Ok, that's good and for the guys that are just here because they are being forced, I promise you'll have fun too." I joke, gaining a few laughs.

Going on to explain the night's activities, I can see people getting excited about what they want to draw and paint, and before I know it, an hour has gone by and I must say that the canvases are looking good!

Spotting Arizona laughing at something Moose, one of her football buddies said, I walk over but just as I approach her, Jax comes up to me informing me that we are running low on refreshments and asking if I could give him a hand with restocking everything. 'A president's job is definitely never done.'

The night continues on and unfortunately, I don't get to speak with Arizona again, but we exchange plenty of looks, and I must say that knowing I was on her mind as much as she was on mine is more than enough for me.

Saturday Afternoon: The Game

General P.O.V.

"I don't know Chuck, today is going to be a tough game."

"Tough? Nope, I don't think so. My money is on Duke."

Laughing at his partner's words, Larry says, "Now is that because you think they're good or because of one Ari Robbins?"

"How about I put it like this, they are good because they have Ari Robbins and I'm not too mad at that" he jokes back, "I mean, let's talk quick facts. For those of you who don't know her, Ari Robbins is the female runningback for Duke University. Since high school, she has…" he goes on spewing out the blonde records as if he were reading it straight out of a book, "and not to mention the things that she has done while in college. She has quickly shown that she can hang with the big boys."

"That she has. I am particularly excited to see how she does tonight seeing as to how this is Duke's first time playing this team."

"Well you know she has always said that she likes to play against new teams because it gives her a rush with trying to anticipate their moves."

"Well here's to hoping that rush will work in her favor tonight. We'll be kicking off in twenty minutes so don't go anywhere. We'll be right back."

Arizona's P.O.V.

Sitting here on the bench with a cool towel over my face, I can't help but reflect on today's game. We're playing a new team, one who is known to be a bit rough out on the field. I'm not worried though, I know that my boys will protect me.

"So this is your pregame strategy?" I hear, causing a smile to come upon my face.

Slowly removing the towel, I can't help but admire the figure standing in front of me.

"Yep, I like to keep it simple," I tell her and she chuckles, "What are you doing down here?" I ask.

"You told me that your coach makes you guys turn off your phones but I really wanted to wish you luck" Callie smiles.

"Awe, you snuck all the way down here just to wish me luck?" I say, standing up

"Well, I didn't really have to sneak. When you're SGA president, you can pretty much get where ever you want." she teases.

"I'll bet it's not just the title that contributes to that" I smirk, causing her to blush.

Turning to reach into my locker, I pull out my away game jersey, "Do you know what would bring me a lot of luck?" I ask her, missing the eyes of my teammates that are now on me.

"What?" she asks

"Me knowing that somewhere in the stands, you're wearing my jersey," I say softly, showing her the shirt that has my last name across the back.

Her eyes widen, as her mouth opens and closes but no words are formed.

"Unless you don't want to…?" I say slowly

"No!- I mean, no, I-I'd love to. Are you sure?" she asks, taking the shirt from me.

"Absolutely" I smile.

"10 minutes till we go out!" one of the assistant coaches ' voices ring throughout the locker room.

Smiling up at me, Callie says, "I guess that's my cue."

"Yeah, I'll see you later?" I ask silently asking if she's still coming to the party with me.

"Of course," she says, leaning up to place a soft kiss on my cheek, close to my mouth.

"Kickass out there Robbins" she smiles before turning and exiting the locker room. No sooner than 2 seconds after she disappears, the sounds of teammates teasing me ring out causing me to blush.

"You should wear my jersey," Mark says teasingly turning to Moose.

"Oooh, I'd love to," Moose says in his best female voice before they throw their arms around each other and pretend to kiss like some couple out of a 1950's romcom.

Laughing, I throw my towel at them, "Instead of being all in my business, can we go out there and kick some butt" I ask them getting them riled up.

"Yeah!" they all say, as we begin to file out of the locker room.

'It's Gametime'

Saturday Night: The Party

General P.O.V.

Getting out of the truck, Arizona hurries around to open the door for her brunette companion.

"My lady" she smiles, helping her out.

"Thank you" Callie smiles, "You look great by the way"

Blushing, Arizona grabs her hand, "So do you, you look beautiful" she says, giving her a once over.

"Shall we?" she asks, and Callie nods.

Walking into the team's clubhouse, Arizona immediately starts greeting various people, not once letting go of Callie's hand.

Looking around, Callie spots various people from a few of her classes, some of them smiling and waving, others glaring at her wishing that they were the one hanging off the arm of one Ari Robbins but she doesn't let it get to her.

Finally making it to the kitchen where the drinks are, Arizona turns to her, "You want anything to drink?"

"I'm not much of a drinker, but if you guys have anything fruity, I'll take it."

"Anything fruity, she says" Arizona laughs, "You are in luck because I make an awesome impromptu jungle juice," she says, grabbing two cups and mixing a bunch of different things together.

"Here you go" she hands a cup to Callie.

Tasting the drink, Callie's eyes widened, "Wow, this is really good. I can barely taste the alcohol."

"Mhm, just be careful because it'll sneak up on you" the blonde laughs, grabbing her own cup.

"I don't have to worry so much if I'm with you though, right?" Callie flirts.

Smirking, Arizona puts her arm around her waist, "Nope, I'll keep you safe"

"My knight and shining armor," Callie says, squeezing her bicep.

"You know it, baby," Arizona says, not realizing what she just said, but the brunette does.

"Come on, let's go dance" Arizona suggests, "and by dance, I mean I'll stand there and you can make me look good"

Giggling, Callie nods, before being led into the living room.

Finding a nice spot in the crowd, Arizona stops, pulling Callie close to her as they begin to move to the rhythm of the beat. Smiling at the brunette, the blonde can sense how nervous she is so she leans in closer.

"You don't have to be nervous Calliope," she whispers, trying to help the girl loosen up a little.

Catching blue eyes, Callie frowns slightly, "I'm not nervous"

Lifting her eyebrow, Arizona smirks, "Ok, maybe I am a little nervous. I just-"

"Shh." Arizona says, placing her finger over the brunette's lips, "Don't think so hard about this." she jokes, repeating the same six words that Callie has been telling her for the past week.

Laughing, Callie just shakes her head as the fast beat song begins to change. Hearing the opening chords of the next song, Callie's smile somehow widens.

"I take it you like this song?"

Nodding, she begins to sing along.

I mean your bedroom is just so cold, it's so cold, but I'm here to tell you

I got a strategy we 'bout to heat it up (Oh, I like that)

Slowly turning her back to the blonde, Callie begins to move her hips to the music causing the blonde to stand there in awe.

Girl get comfortable

We 'bout to do something you never done before

Baby, not the usual

Tonight we gettin' unpredictable

So try to roll with me baby, baby

Feeling the brunettes backside make contact with her groin, Arizona groans coming back to reality. Placing a hand on her hip, she immediately falls into rhythm with her eventually feeling Callie's hand pull the other one around her waist.

Baby, one plus one ain't two when you with me

C ain't after A and B when you with me

It don't make sense right now but it will

Later on when you see how I make you feel

Regular ain't in my vocabulary

When it comes to love makin' neither is missionary

Positions, girl pick one, better yet some

Never mind that we tryin' all of 'em so

Looking over her shoulder, brown eyes meet blue. Callie brings her left hand up, wrapping it around the blonde's neck causing Arizona to tighten her hold on her as they slowly lean into each other, lips connecting in a sweet kiss.

Pulling back, Arizona can't help the grin that is plastered on her face, "Wow" she says

"Yeah" Callie agrees, leaning in for another kiss, this time longer.

Finally pulling apart for some air, Callie asks, "Want to get some air?"

"Y-Yeah, sure," Arizona says, once again intertwining their hands before leading her back to the kitchen, grabbing some fresh drinks, and moving outside.

Looking around there aren't many people out there which is exactly what Callie wanted.

Leading the blonde over to the cement wall, Callie hops up, before taking a sip of the water that the blonde hands her.

Seeing that Arizona is still standing, Callie smiles, "Are you going to stay all the way over there?"

"All the way over here?" Arizona laughs, "I'm 1 foot away from you."

"That's one foot to far," Callie says suggestively, reaching out for her. Allowing the brunette to pull her closer thinking she's around to pull her to sit with her, she is surprised when she pulls her to stand in between her legs.

Wrapping her arms around the blonde's shoulders, Callie looks into her eyes, biting her lip "I kind of like you, you know."

"I kind of noticed" Arizona smiles, moving closer to wrap her arms around Callie, stroking her hand up and down her back softly, "And I kind of, sort of like you too"

"Oh, I definitely noticed" Callie scoffs playful causing them both to laugh.

Playing with the hair at the nape of the blonde's neck, Callie asks, "Would you like to go out sometime? I know you're busy and I'm busy but maybe we can make some time to not be so busy..."

Smiling, Arizona begins to feel a slight ache in her cheeks from all of the smiling she's been doing tonight, "I'd love that. Next week, after our study session?"

"Study session? Your coach is allowing you to continue missing the study hall?" Callie asks, eyes widening as the blonde nods.

"Told me after the game today. Apparently, he and Bailey talked"

"So that means you passed your test?!"

She shrugs, "He didn't come out and say it but I'm assuming so." Arizona grins, "and it's all because of you. Thank you"

"You're very welcome but it was truly my pleasure."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah, I mean, helping your crush is never really a chore."

"Your crush?! Calliope Torres, are you saying that you have had a crush on me all this time?"

"Maybe" she shrugs, "Maybe I was referring to your coach. I mean by helping you, I am in turn helping keep his team together."

"Oh you did not just go there" Arizona laughs, picking Callie up from off the cement and spinning her around. Hearing the angelic laughter come from the brunette warms the blonde's heart as she thinks about how she could listen to it all day every day.

Stopping, she puts Callie down before leaning in to kiss her once again.

Looking at her watch, Arizona sees that it's nearing 12:30 meaning they've been there was over two hours already. "What do you say, we go back in have one more dance, and head out for the night. The day is starting to catch up to me"

"Sounds like a plan," Callie says and they head back inside.

"I have a drink of my own that I can make" Callie smiles

"Then by all means..." Arizona says, gesturing to the variety of drinks and juices.

Grabbing two cups, Callie grabs the…

Feeling two arms wrap around her waist, Callie looks over her shoulder, "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like?" Arizona asks, "I'm just… chillin"

Leaning back into the body behind her, Callie continues making the drinks. "Here, taste this," She says, taking some in a straw and putting it up to Arizona's lips. Tasting the drink Arizona moans.

"Mmm, that is good! What is it?" Arizona asks, taking a cup and taking a sip.

"It's called a Sex in the Driveway" Callie replies nonchalantly causing Arizona to nearly choking on the drink as it was going down her throat.

"You okay?" Callie laughs.

"Uh, y-yeah. That's an interesting name for a drink" she smirks

"Don't look at me like that, I didn't create the name."

"Mhm, why don't we go mingle a little while we drink these then dance before we head out"

"Lead the way"

Walking back into the crowded area, Arizona spots Mark leaning all over some freshman.

"Hey man"

"Robbins! Where ya been?" he asks, looking to the side and seeing Callie before looking down to see their hands laced together, "Or better yet should I ask did you two have fun?" he smirks

"Shut up. We were just outside getting some air"

"Oh yeah, after that little show you gave us earlier. I'm sure you two were very hot." he laughs.

"Sounds like you've been watching us all night Mark. You have a slow night?" Callie smirks as Arizona chuckles

Groaning, Mark rolls his eyes, "Where's your little friend Addison? Does she miss me?"

Turning to look across the room, causing the other two people beside her to do the same, they spot the redhead in reference, dancing with a cute brunette guy, "I don't think so" Callie says as she turns back to Mark.

"Whatever, I'm about to leave anyway," he says walking away towards the front door.

"Wow, I've never seen many people talk to him like that"

"Yeah well, he's a douche. I know he's your best friend but I don't trust him." Callie says.

"I know but underneath all that tough exterior, he's a good guy Cal."

"If you say so," Callie says, finishing off her drink before pulling Arizona closer to her. Just as they begin to get into the rhythm of the song, someone taps Callie on the shoulder.

Turning, she sees Mandie Henderson standing there smiling, "Mind if I cut in?"

"Um," she looks to Arizona who shakes her head, "No thanks we're good" she smiles, turning her attention away from the now frowning blonde.

"One of your groupies?" she jokes.

"Yeah if you want to call it that. I've only talked to her once or twice. She's been seen with more of my teammates than I'd like to count."

"You know you can dance with other people if you want to.. we aren't-"

"Don't even finish that sentence" Arizona says, "I'm dancing with the exact person I want to be. We may not be exclusive yet, but that's just because I'm waiting to take you on a real date before I ask."

Blushing, Callie looks away into the crowd around them, "Then I can't wait"

*BANG**BANG**BANG*

The loud noise rings throughout the clubhouse causing the music to stop and everyone to look around as some take cover and others begin to run.

Screaming, Callie holds on to Arizona who pushes the shorter brunette behind her to keep her safe.

"Come on man why are you-" they hear a voice getting closer. Leading the brunette quickly to the now overturned pingpong table, they take cover.

The sound of another gunshot rings throughout the house, "SHUT UP!" the voice screams looking at the boy that was on the other end of the barrel.

Wincing at the loudness of it all, Callie clings tighter to Arizona's shirt while the blonde rubs her back, trying to remain calm for the both of them.

"You have made my life a living hell for the last time." the boy, who Arizona assumes is the one holding the gun, says in a low scratchy tone.

"I-I" the voice of Mark Sloan stutters.

Frowning slightly at her best friend's voice, Arizona moves enough to get a view over the table seeing Mark standing there with a gun being pointed at him by none other than… Duncan.

Arizona's heart drops, 'what is going on?' she thinks to herself.

"I hate you. I HATE YOU and all of your little friends" Duncan says, pointing the gun between Mark, Steve, and Tyler.

"All of you are going to pay!"

Looking at Callie who now has tears running down her face, Arizona wipes them away, "Hey, hey calm down, it's ok."

"How can you say that? There is a gunman 20 ft away from us"

"I know but I need you to stay right here ok. I-"

"Arizona-"

"I am going to talk to him. It's Duncan, the towel boy for the football team. He's my friend, I can talk to him"

"Arizona, no" Callie whispers but her plea falls on deaf ears. Kissing the brunette's forehead, Arizona slowly stands up, hands out in front of her, "Duncan"

Looking her way, he frowns, "Arizona w-what are you doing here?"

"It's a football party duh" she tries to joke but no one laughs.

Clearing her throat, she steps from behind the table, "What are you doing man? This isn't you"

she tells him.

"Yeah, well, things happen. Things that should never happen have happened and I am sick of this prick making my life a living nightmare" he says putting emphasis on prick as he thrusts the gun in Mark's direction.

"I get that ok. Mark was a jerk to you, but I talk to him about it. He agreed not to harass you anymore." Arizona says, trying to diffuse the situation. "I spoke to him on Tuesday, he agreed to stop"

"Oh is that what he told you?" Duncan laughs, "And here I thought you two were the best of friends. I guess you didn't tell her what you were up to Tuesday night huh Mark?" Duncan says

Arizona frowns, "Mark- Mark what is he talking about?"

"I-I" Mark stutters

"Go ahead, tell her Mark!" Duncan screams but Mark doesn't say anything so he continues, "Tell her how you've not only been throwing me against lockers and saying rude things to me but you and your two little friends also took it upon yourselves to SHOVE A BROOMSTICK UP MY ASS!" he says, and Arizona gasps along with Callie who was hearing everything.

"Y-Y-You what? Mark, what the hell is wrong with you?" Arizona asks tears now in her eyes.

"Yeah, he didn't tell you that." Duncan says softly, "I appreciate you trying to resolve the situation peacefully, Arizona. You've always been a friend to me but sometimes you have to show people. You have to show them that their actions have consequences."

"And I get that Duncan but please, this isn't the way. I see now that Mark has been doing vile things to you and in no way am I condoning it, but think about your future. This could ruin everything."

"EVERYTHING IS ALREADY RUINED! I HAVE A GUN IN MY HAND AND I INTEND TO KILL HIM. I'M ALREADY GOING TO JAIL..." he sighs, looking to Arizona "so I may as well go knowing that I finished what I came here to do." Just as he finishes, Mark takes advantage of his distractedness. He ducks and lounges forward tackling Duncan to the ground, knocking the gun out of his hand while the other two boys take off running out the door.

Hitting him a few times, Duncan is finally able to throw a hit, knowing the heavier boy off of him. He scrambles for the gun, grabbing it, just as Mark goes to attack him again. Quickly turning on his back, he aims the gun for Mark, pulling the trigger.

*BANG*

So what do you guys think? This has always been the way that I wanted this story to go. I have the entire plot thought out. I just have to get the chapters to where I want them to be. LMK what you thought by leaving a review. If it's good, awesome! If it's trash, I want to know that too!
